"Thanks Lakepaw that feels so much better"meowed Duskcloud. Young Lakepaw had just finished getting out the the pretty yellow she cat's ticks and now it was time for Darkwing. "Where is it"he mewed to her. "It's just around my ear and one next to my tail," she called as Lakepaw went to get more mouse bile. After he got her tick out he wanted to check on Mintflower and Skykit.

"There you go Skykit try not to step on anymore thistles okay" Lakepaw meowed. He had just finished taking care of Mintflower and Skykit. Now Icestorm wanted him to take a warrior with him to gather yarrow their stock had only a few leaves left. "Greysplash who should I take to go with me to collect herbs." He asked. "You should take Sparrowstep," Greysplash finally replied. Okay Sparrowstep is a good warrior a little cranky but kind. "Sparrowstep I need you to come with me to find herbs four eyes is better than two." Lakepaw meowed. "Okay let me finish eating and then I'll be right there." He replied.

As they walked along an unsettling silence came upon them. As Sparrowstep's ears suddenly flew up Rainclan sent was everywhere and there was a crackling of leaves. As cats came flying out in every direction. "Run" yowled Sparrowstep. Lakepaw ran as fast as he could. But the Rainclan cats were superfast and caught up to them easily before they could reach camp. Sparrowstep decided to stay behind and hold them off well Lakepaw ran into camp to tell his clan and SunStar about the intruders on their land.
