"Why does Rainclan have to be so nasty!" Lakepaw thought.
Roseclan was coming back from the gathering where Rainclan didn't ever cheer his sisters names. At least Jungleclan was nice. All he wanted to do was lay in his comfy nest and sleep, but he had to make sure camp was alright first. Riverkit, was the only cat in the nursery awake. Mintflower, and Silverclaw were taking good care of his litter mates, and him. Riverkit just mewed about having a bellyache so Lakepaw went to get him some herbs. It was time the kits became apprentices maybe Lakepaw's sisters would get to be a mentor to one of the four rouge children. Riverkit went to sleep after getting the herbs, so Lakepaw could go to sleep now.

Lakepaw had a restless night he had dreams of cats yowling and screeching for help. Lakepaw couldn't help them it was strange so he went on a walk and came back to sleep. He couldn't get the yowling out of his head but kept on with the usual morning routine. Checking the elders, then the nursery, then the leader, next the warriors, and the apprentices. There was nothing wrong as usual. Then Sunstar called a meeting, "Let all cats gather beneath me to hear my words!"
"It is time to make four kits apprentices, Riverkit please step forward." Sunstar started.
"From this day forward until you revive your warrior name you shall be know as Riverpaw, your mentor will be Cherrygaze."
"Foxkit from this day forward until you recive your warrior name you'll be known as Foxpaw, your mentor will be Whitecloud."
"Badgerkit from this day forward until you receive your warrior name you will be known as Badgerpaw, your mentor will be Briarblaze."
"Tigerkit from this day forward you will be known as Tigerpaw your mentor will be Sparkleaf."
There were a few murmurs of surprise that Dovesplash didn't get an apprentice. But others just yowled "Riverpaw! Foxpaw! Badgerpaw! Tigerpaw!"
Then the meeting was over and Greysplash ordered some patrols and then went to talk with Sunstar.
