Sparkleaf took a long stretch, but then she remembered,"The gathering is tonight!" It would be her first gathering as a warrior. She wondered if Pinepaw had gotten his name too, or any of the other apprentices. The warriors who were going to the gathering lined up. When Sunstar gave the signal they raced out of camp. Sparkleaf loved the feeling of the wind on her fur. Racing with her clan mates side by side. She gazed at the warriors who were running with her, Sunstar, Greysplash, Icestorm, Lakepaw, Stormtail, Cherrygaze, Whitecloud, Briarblaze, Duskcloud, and Darkwing. All of them were loyal cats including her mother Cherrygaze a former warrior of Rainclan. She left Rainclan with Sparkleaf, and her littermates. Her father Stormtail was brave, smart, and a loyal cat. He accidentally had kits with Cherrygaze one night. The gathering spot came into sight, and Sparkleaf ran even faster to get there. Roseclan was the first to arrive. Jungleclan came after with, Berrystar, Silvercloud, Mintsplash, Grassheart, Seapaw, Poppystrike Robinflower, and Coldtalon. She raced over to greet Seapaw the small tom mewed his hello when Rainclan came in. With them was Lightstar, Blackfeather, Stormfang, Swiftstorm, Jaytail, Dustpaw, Flameshade, and Stormfall. Lightstar went over to where the leaders spoke, and called for the meeting to start. "We are not happy with Roseclan they attacked us after we caught prey that ran over to their sir of the border." Lightstar yowled. Many of the Roseclan warriors yowled their defense. Sunstar stepped up and said, "you crossed the border, and there was blood and feathers!"
"Lightstar! Sunstar!" This is a gathering there is no time for arguing Berrystar yowled. "Or have you forgotten the truce?" Many warriors yowled their leaders defense. Sparkleaf thought a fight would break out. But it all stopped in time. Sunstar stepped up to the rock,"we have two new warriors Sparkleaf, and Briarblaze!" Their clan and Jungleclan chanted her and her sisters names, but Rainclan stayed quiet. They casted glares, but soon the gathering was over, and it was time to leave. Sparkleaf muttered a goodbye to Seapaw, and headed off down the slope into Roseclan territory.
