The two leaders stared at each other hackles raised. Blood splattered the clearing. Sparkpaw saw Snakedust and let out a low growl. All she really wanted to do was attack him and make him pay for killing Flameleaf. Her first love, but now he was fighting Dovesplash her new love. She yowled and ran over to where they were struggling. Jumping on Snakedust's back, and scratching his fur out until it bled. Her feelings for Dovesplash were too strong. That if she lost him too she would go crazy. Finally Briarpaw pulled her off of him, because Snakedust was laying helpless in the dirt. Looking defeated a flash of victory went across her face. "She had beaten Snakedust in a fight. So she had nothing else against him." Sparkpaw's mentor Sparrowstep came trotting over a proud look on his face. "Sparkpaw today you fought like a warrior I will report this to Sunstar. I think it's about time you and Briarpaw got your warrior names." He praised. Sparkpaw felt the warmth of Dovesplash's fur and his tail twine with hers. "I'm so proud of you." He purred. "You know that I will always love you." She was purring to hard to reply, but Sparkpaw knew she had to tell the good news to Briarpaw. She untwined her tail with Dovesplash's and trotted over to where Briarpaw was getting Lakepaw to treat her wounds. "Sit still!" He urged. "Briarpaw." she meowed excitedly, "We're going to be warriors!" Briarpaw jumped up with joy, and then sat back down from an annoyed hiss from Lakepaw. "She cats getting so excited about everything. Next time it will be about kits!" He teased. Sparkpaw walked away stunned maybe next time it will be about news of kits. Roseclan went back to camp the victory was plain on their faces. Sparkpaw's mother will be very proud for her daughters. After all Rainclan was her birth clan, but her mother's love for Stormtail was too strong. She raced back to camp thinking of all the possible names, "Sparkfire, Sparkclaw, Sparkwhisker, Sparktail maybe?" It didn't matter all that did was she was becoming a warrior, and soon she would be able to sleep in the warriors den, with her sister and Dovesplash.
