The hunger became unbearable, I couldn't hold it anymore. I went downstairs to grab some fruits and retreat back to my room.

Coming down the stairs I spotted dad and Katie together she was crying on his shoulder, I guessed she as told him what happened.

I quietly walked pass them.

"Where do you think you are going?"My dad exasperated as Katie increased the sound of her tears.

"Hmmmmmm, l _ l_ l want an apple "I shivered. I pretended like I  didn't know what was happening.

"What did you do to my wife? "He badgered.

"Which wife ,I don't see mum anywhere? Where is she ? Has she come back form Haven? Does she want  to see me?" I burst into laughter

"Are you mad? Is this a joke to you? "Dad chastised pulling my ear.

"Darling please leave her along, she is just a kid" Katie said while she rested her head on my dad's shoulder. I became very perplexed because she just supported me.

"A kid!  She is mannerless" My dad cringed.

"Well that was what her late mother thought her but don't worry, I am here to correct it "She yapped. I should have expected it  , support then insult. 

"No she needs a punishment" My dad responded.

" I have an idea why don't you KILL ME " I said emphasising on my last words as I went to the kitchen to get something to eat and ran back upstairs. I heard them calling but I just ignored.

I spent so much time fighting with my dad that I lost track of time, it was already night time.

I went to my whatapp but their was no message from Amanda so I decided to text first.

Me: Hi 😇😇

About two minutes later there was a response.

Amanda:  Hey💓

Me: How are you fitting in.

Amanda :   Pretty well,I spoke to my brother and another two people today, what about you.🤣🤣

Me : Well ,fought with my dad and Katie again.😡🥵🥵😡

Amanda.: That is turning to a regular thing😁😁

Me  : Yeah ,I just wish I can leave this house.🚎🚎

Amanda : You know school is tomorrow.

Me: Yeah at least that will be better than staying at home.😅😂

Amanda:. Help me greet everyone and tell them I miss them.😘

Me: Of course anything for my sister.
So have you enrolled in a new school 😍

Amanda:  Yeah

Me:  Name

Amanda : Royal bells

Me  : Wow I have heard a lot about that school it is very good.🙂

Amanda : Yeah, but I am  new and I don't have any friends..🙈

Me :  Don't worry you will do great. Got to go to bed byeeeeee.🥱🥱🥱

Amanda:  Byeeeeeee.😓

After chatting with Amanda I went to the bath room ,I took my bath, then went to bed.

It was Monday morning, I was already late for school. I quickly took my bath got dress and took my breakfast which I prepared myself . I didn't even want to know what Katie  food tasted like so I just made noodles. I took some money form my savings and headed to school.
My school was not too far from my house so I could walk it.

When I got to school it was already first period.

"Good morning sir" I greeted as I took my sit.

A friend of mine Bella asked me some questions ,she was sitting behind me,  she had brown hair with blue eyes, she was wearing a pink dress.

"Why are you just coming to school and where is Amanda"

"Hmmmmmm"

"No talking in my class" The class teacher interrupted.

"Later, let's learn now"  I  grinned.

The class went on for a while.

It was finally break time.

I went to the canteen to get something to eat.
After buying my food I ran into Bella . We but sat together to continue our discussion.

"Well Amanda went back to ondo state."

"Why"

"Her parents asked her to come" I lied

I couldn't reveal that their is a problem in my family to an outsider ,it's improper

"Help me greet her"

"OK no problem, she even told me to greet you"

"Okay" She said as she stood up and left.

I probably know what you are asking, why didn't we talk much .

Well she is my friend but she is more of Amanda's friend than mine. We both can't sit together and a conversion will just start naturally. We just don't know the words to say, Amanda is always the one who start a conversion between us.
