Hey there my doves as promised here's the next chapter. It's super short and I apologize for that. But if I can I'll make up for it next time i update with two chapter. So without further a-due.

Back At Mount Justice

The tv screen in front of Superboy was flickering in black and white. Large block letters saying 'No Service' appeared on the screen. He was just staring at it blankly, but his thoughts were on anything but the television. Superboy's mind kept flowing back to one specific person. He couldn't help it. Percy Jackson was someone that was hard to not think of. Ever since they had gotten back from their mission, Connor had realized and wittinesed that Percy was used to fighting against the odds. Or to be more exact; alone. And that did not settle down well with him.

One: he already despised the fact that he had been taken down so easily. Two: he hated that; despite promising Percy that Conner wouldn't leave him to fend for himself. He got himself attacked, knocked out, hence leaving Percy alone. Even if Percy didn't seem to mind it at all, even handling it so eerily well that Superboy had to wonder if he was used to this sort of situation. Percy however did seem startled at the fact that Batman had come in for the rescue. As if expecting he had to handle the entire problem on his own. Conner was frustrated at himself and even made the mistake of lashing out on Percy. But of course Percy only looked slightly annoyed but nonetheless tried to cheer him up.

Conner let out a huff of air. He still hasn't bothered turning off the Tv. Percy's understanding gaze seemed to had dissolved his bubbling anger towards himself. Back at the kitchen he heard Me'gan ask if he wanted the tv to be fixed. "No" Superboy grunted folding his arms. Me'gan began to think. She wanted to talk to Superboy but didn't really know how. "How about helping me cook?" She asked, hoping he would. She wanted to ask him something. Again Conner grunted a "No" but got up from the couch and entered the kitchen. Me'gan smiled enjoying the bait she just laid out. There's not point sulking about it Superboy thought.

Miss Martian was quite excited to have Connor help out. And she had her reasons to be. The main one however being that she wanted to find out firsthand how Superboy felt about Percy. Even if neither boy had realized it, Me'gan knew there was something between the duo. She turned her back away from Superboy and squealed in delight. She started to list out the cooking utilities they needed but her head was not in the game. She kept thinking about what if her ship became canon. What if it sailed. While she was distracted her telekinesis had caused havoc in the kitchen. By the time she remembered Connor it was too late. He was completely covered in milk, eggs and other produce. She stopped a midway growing shriek and immediately summoned a towel to clean him. "I'm sorry!" She started to ramble on apologies. While trying to get Conner cleaned Miss Martian locked eyes with him. Her question, that was just burning in her mind to be asked; slipped out.

The second Connor locked eyes with Me'gan he thought of how close they were. Then he forgot that it was Me'gan standing in front of him and instead imagined if Percy was the one staring at him. Just when he realized exactly what he was thinking, Me'gan asked him "Do you like Percy!" This made Superboy whip up his head and turn a bright shade of pink. Was she reading my mind? He panicked. Me'gan's eyes widened as she stared at the blushing Connor. She only grew more surprised as he started to stumble his words trying to deny his blooming feelings for Percy. "I don't-" She covered Superboys mouth. His body language was enough for her to know the truth despite his protest. "Stop" She said and removed her hand "You can go sit now." It's official. It's definitely canon. She thought to herself.

Bewildered by how easily Miss Martian let it go, Connor reluctantly walked back to the couch. He continued staring at the TV as Red Tornado walked in. He spotted Me'gan calmly cutting some oninons and decided to leave the duo alone.
