Chapter 9
Jane's pov:
I sharpen my knife waiting for midnight. Tonight I'll finally kill the most famous killer on the Earth's surface, or at least I'll die trying. I spend a while dressing myself with the dress I've stolen from the boutique. I look at myself using a broken mirror in this abandoned house and I think I look nice.
Before the beginning of the search, I look one last time at a photograph of my parents thinking: "I hope I won't find you in Hell." Finally the bell rings twelve tolls: let the hunt begin. I'm a little excited, but I must stay concentrate. I begin to explore the town, being careful not to miss important tracks of Jeff. I decide to enter a few houses, but I only find or corpses or someone sleeping peacefully. The corpses are half eaten or half dissectioned, meaning both the Rake and Eyeless Jack are on the loose. I doubt my concentration on the Rake is as dangerous as Offenderman.
It hasn't got problems to kill other Creepypastas. I know for sure Ticci Toby has a scratch on his arm done by the Rake. After a while I decide to move away from the centre as I can't find Jeff. I have two choices: the suburbs or the industrial zone. I opt for the first choice because in the industrial zone there are only factories. I head there hurrying a bit because time passes quickly. Then I finally arrive there.
The suburbs: lots of houses in decline, the streets full of rubbish and an high tax of criminality. The police hates these parts of the town as they are dangerous and full of criminals, drug traffickers, and drunk people. It's the poor part of every town. How do I know this? I used to live in the suburbs before Jeff killed my parents and friends. My father was saving money to buy a new house in a more decent area. My district was terrorised by Keith, Tony, and Randy. Those vandals beated up every guy who didn't pay them and every girl who didn't want to be their girlfriends. The only good thing Jeff did was by killing two of them. I don't know anything about Keith, but I bet Jeff found him and killed him.
Those young criminals didn't bother me too much, fortunately. I begin to concentrate. Jeff is probably around here. I take off my shoes because they do too much noise and I begin to wander around these districts, being careful not to step on some glasses or syringes. All the zones seems quiet and peaceful. Jeff isn't here. I'm about to give up when a familiar voice calls from behind me:
"Jane, it's a pleasure to see you again"
