You know the best part of being a senior?

You don't have to take that many classes.

Well if your like me and have most of your creds before senior year, if not then that's not my problem.

But wait! I'm starting off the book wrong.

My name is Yuu Kasaragi, 18 and a neko.

Yes a neko. If you've read the first book you'll know this, if not, you atleast took your lazy ass to the character chapter and read up on it.

Anyway.

Right now I'm walking home, sure there's nothing wrong with that. Right?

Wrong.

There is something wrong when you live in a very bad neighborhood. Not the old run down bad, im talking about the neighborhood that looks good but will shoot a bitch if you even breath on their new cut grass. Trust me my mother has shot at a person for doing that.

I kick a pebble as I walk down the sidewalk, I didn't live that far from school. The walk was like a good ten minutes if I were just strolling.

I make it home and walk up the front porch. I take my key out and unlock the door.

"I'm home!" I say while closing it back.

"Hi sweetie! Food's in the oven!" I heard my mum yell from the living room. I drop my bag on the floor and make a beeline for the kitchen.

"Fooodddd~" I say and open the oven.

"Young man you better get your shit off the floor! I just cleaned!!" Before I can fix my plate I mumbled a sorry and put my stuff in my room. Then I went to the kitchen and fixed some food.

After I warmed it up I sat in the living room. My mum was in the recliner and I was at her feet.

"How was school?" She asked while petting my ears and I let out a pur.

"It was fine till I got in AP Bio." I mumbled, those damn people get on my nerves.

She lets out a chuckle and continues to pet my ears.

I finish my food and wash the rest of the dishes when I'm done. Then I shower and go to my room. I check my phone to see that I have a few messages. One of them was from my best friend Sai.

Sai: I swear to god if I have to make another cheesecake am going to throw up.

I couldn't help but giggle and respond back.

I don't see the problem.

After a few moments my phone vibrates.

Sai: it is when a woman buys 20 of them!!

I blink a bit.

Welp, sounds like a you problem. :P

Sai: be happy we're best friends or I would've hit you. Gtg

I pout a bit since I didn't have much to do. The only person home was mum and dad didn't get off work till six. It was around one now.

I decide to put on some socks and shoes.

"Where you going sweetie?"

"To help Sai, he's going crazy over cheesecakes."

She smirks a bit. "Ask him to make me one then."

As soon as I walk in the shop my wrist was grabbed and I was dragged into the kitchen through a cluster of people.

Sai threw me an apron and went behind a counter. "We need to make six more. There's three cooling in the icebox now."

"Aye chef!" I say and went to the freezer.

Sai's mum ran in the kitchen and takes the ones that were already cooked and boxed them. She pets my head on the way out and I went to take the ones out the ice box.

After a good half-hour we were done.

Of course there was some eating in between, I mean you can't blame me when there's a kitchen full of cakes in every damn flavour possible.

I pat Sai's back and he sighs and hangs up his aporn. "Thanks.." He mumbled. I nod. "Yea yea.. Be happy I'm a good friend and didn't charge you."

"I'm broke."

"You live in a cafe, I will gladly accept food!!"

After that we had to clean up the front room and Sai's mum went up stairs to do something. After cleaning the windows we sat down and had ice cream.

"So how's the problem going." I ask while eating a cherry. He shifts in his seat and grumbles. "Barely enough to make it this month.."

I sigh. "But what about-"

"My second job? Yeah, still not enough. And Mum's getting sicker." He looks out the window and I frown a bit.

Okay so to put it simply they were having money problems and what not. I didn't ask further because I didn't want to intrude or anything but I can see it was really affecting them.

"You know if you need help.."

He licks his spoon. "I know I know. Right now I have a lot of things..... On my....mind...." I watch as his eyes land on a black Hummer that pulled up across the street and he gulps.

"I think I should go....." I say and he nods.

Chapter 1! Yay!

So its not gonna be long worded chapters in the beginning but as it progress the more longer the chapters will be.

I also have a goal for this book....

And that is.. ..

Well I'll tell later~
