Nightmare's POV a few days later

Everything settled down again, at least it seemed to. The protection scaled back. My friends calmed down. Kyle became just a friend again, though was still protective.

But those incidents seemed to set something off with others. I went for a run once and when returning to the dorms, Eric jogged over and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I look at him in shock, my face burning and stopping in my tracks. He smiles.

"What was that about?"I ask

"Operation Double L!"He says, then jogs away

Leaving me just as confused.

Then a few days later I was going to meet up with Blue and Dust, Martin came around a corner and did the exact same thing. When I asked for an explanation, he fled after saying the same thing Eric did.

What the heck is going on? What is Operation Double L?

I told Catra about it and she giggles, saying they are probably just competing to get me before someone else does.

"We're going to be seniors when we go back to school. They don't know where you're going after that."She says

We look at each other, realizing what she just said.

"Man, we really have settled here, huh? Are we ever going to get out of here?"She chuckles

"Why leave? This place is so peaceful and great. Plus we all agreed that our worlds are broken wrecks of chaos. The multiverses are colliding and yet this place seems untouched. Safe from the universes outside. Why leave a safe place to go back into danger?"Toph asks, bringing up some good points

"We have people we care about still in those worlds."Catra says

I nod.

"Speaking of which, isn't someone coming to find you, Nightmare?"Catra asks, referring to Killer

"Yes....."I say

"Heard anything new yet?"She asks

"He hasn't called.....Nobody has....."I say

They shrug it off.

Classes started back up days later. Everything fell back into routine. I got different classes of course than last year, even potions or invention classes added to the school. I didn't take part in those, neither me or the school wanting to risk anything with what may go wrong in those with me.

I tried to call Killer or anyone but nobody outside this world would pick up. I was glad to be with Fallacy, Encre, Dust and Blue though. I didn't feel alone in this world knowing that others from my multiverse were here. Plus I made friends with the other people stuck here.

But not all the seniors were the nicest. Especially not the people with invention classes. They would often just use devices they found littering the sidewalks or stuff like that. And they'd bully other kids or pick targets into being their test subjects or whatever. What freaked me out the most was that Cukeme was one of those people. And that caused my friends to be unsettled as well. They did what they could to keep me safe but of course couldn't always be with me.

One day I was staying later than usual to finish a test and once I was done, I was walking through the halls. I was reaching the nearest staircase, which was down a poorly lit hallway of the fashion wing. I started walking down it, checking to ensure I was safe. I thought it was all clear but suddenly I got shoved into one of the classrooms. I see Cukeme holding me.

"Cukeme? What are you-?"I begin

"I found this weird chip. I analyzed it and it is a mind chip of some sort. It was supposed to make some Catra person obey them but now I changed that and I thought maybe you could give it a go.~"He says

Before I could protest, he put it on the back of my neck and shoved me into a locker in the classroom.

"See you on Monday, Lunar.~"He says

I could hear him leave, locking everything up. It's Friday. I may not get out for a while. Instantly the pain started up.

I felt my mind getting corrupted, all these sights are thoughts enter my mind. A voice seemed to whisper to me, messing with my head.

Nobody's coming for you....They don't need you....They don't want you....Killer was just using you. They are were. You wear your heart on your sleeve with them. So stupid to let your guard down. If someone was coming to get you, they'd be here by now. It's been two years you've been here, equivalent to hmmm, 5 months in your multiverse and who knows how long in Error's anti-void. Face it, they don't WANT to take you back. You can't even remember where you belong. NOBODY froom that place cares about you. YOU are nothing!

No.....Nononono, I am something! People do care!

Then where are they?

I break down crying, holding my head. The pain was so strong and it only grew every time I tried to fight back. It felt like I was falling apart. I recall Cukeme's own words, mentioning Catra. I thought of her, Toph, Encre, all who are probably at the dorms waiting for me to come. We planned to spend the night and weekend celebrating Catra's birthday, even Adora and a friend of Catra's named Scorpia was coming over.

Maybe not there....But here I have people waiting for me that do care! And there's nothing to prove otherwise!

The pain grew so bad that I passed out after those thoughts.

When I woke up, everything felt different. I thought differently. I couldn't remember as many things. But it was also like I was on auto-pilot. I didn't really think. I just did what I could. I busted the door open and climb out. I feel the chip was still on the back of my neck, but it seemed settled or I got used to the pain. I see in a mirror that I have changed to something diferent.....My hair has grown to tentacle-like parts, my eyes have changed in size, color or shape, even multiplying, I had stitch patterns going along my body but also had a flower pattern on my skin, like tattoos.

I looked like a freak, a monster...........and I liked it. I smiled. I felt normal despite how abnormal it all may seem. I look like what I truly am. I'm free. And the tentacles reminded me faintly of a dream of something I might've been but can't really recall. I quickly found that my "hair" could grab things. I was still strong. The voice was gone. And that felt empowering. My clothes were torn though so to solve this without any thought I grabbed clothes from the locker which was full of projects from previous seniors that took the class. I put it on and grabbed my bunny bag that is my purse. I check my phone to find that it's Saturday. I missed Catra's birthday and was upset about that. Strangely more than anything else but I didn't think much about it.

I'll prove that voice wrong. I'll prove everyone wrong. I'll start a life here. Toph was right, why go into the chaos when safe here? Especially a bad place where nobody ever wanted you or cared when you are wanted and cared for here. This will be my home. One where I am myself, accepted, loved and SOMEBODY. I will be worth something here and if anyone from that world tries to mess with my new home or dares come here, I'll make them pay. Especially that brother of mine. This will be my home now and it'll be a better life than there. And I won't EVER let anyone take advantage of me again.

I casually walked out of the building as if nothing happened, finding Cukeme strolling up to enter even though it's a Saturday. I didn't even think and next I knew, he was taken cared of. He laid unconscious in an alley, much like he tried to do to me after the Alley Incident.

Then I casually walked to a bus stop and waited to be picked up to go to my dorm. My home. I smile. I actually smile.

Thump thump, thu-thump, thump thump.....

I heard someone's heart pounding in the silence of the night. The only other things I heard were the whistle of the breeze and the hum of car engines or screech of speeding cars making turns on nearby roads. I glance over to see a girl standing there, looking unsettled. She had long red locks of curly hair that went past her waist and wore very loose clothing that would be meant for spring, not a chilly fall evening. Then again, I'm not one to talk with the clothes I chose. I glance away, keeping her in mind for the moment.

I notice she glanced over at me multiple times. Then she cleared her throat.

"So, em, how have you been?"She asks

"I've been great. Where are you heading this late?"I reply

"I could ask the same about you."She says

"I'm heading home. I was stuck in school because of a jerk. He won't be a problem anymore now. You?"I say

"I'm going to find my dorm."She says

"You new here?"I ask

"Transferred in."She says

"Ah...I see."I say

She shivers at the cold breezes.

"Someone could've warned me that it was going to be this cold."She says

"It's 11 PM at Night in October, what did you really expect?"I ask

"It never got this cold where I transferred from!"She says

Something in me had me go over to her. I wrap my arms around her, trying to keep her warm. She looks at me in alarm.

"Warning, it's cold here for months."I say

She starts trembling.

"What?"I ask

"W-Who are you?"She asks

"I could ask you the same thing."I say

"I asked you first."She says

"Lunar."I say

Then the bus arrives and I seperate from her.

"Hey Pete."I say to the driver as the doors open

"Good heavens, Lunar! I was wondering why I didn't pick you up yesterday! What happened to you?"He asks

"Nothing for you to worry about. I handled it."I say, climbing on with the new girl following

"I'll get you to Catra ASAP."He says

"Take your time, Pete. Don't want to cause any trouble."I say

Within minutes he dropped me off at my dorm building. I go inside, find my dorm, unlock the door and enter. I find a girl with scorpion claws and tail still awake and watching me while Adora, Catra, Toph and Encre were asleep. She let out a loud gasp. She leaps up and zipped over to me.

"OMG! You must be Lunar! It's so nice to meet you! Catra was so worried when you didn't come home on time! I'm Scorpia! Warning! I'm a hugger!"She cheers, hugging me

I smile, hugging back. Catra did warn me about this.

"Catra! Lunar is here!"She cheers, waking everyone up as she swung me around in a hug.

She feels by my neck and froze.

"Catra........We have a problem."She says, pointing to my neck

"What are you talking about?"Catra asks, still half-asleep

Scorpia slams me onto the table.

"OW!"I yell

"SCORPIA!"Catra exclaims

"She's chipped!"Scorpia says

"WHAT?! HOW?"Catra exclaims

"I'll get Entrapta!"Adora says, running off

A little while later....

"Yep, she's chipped. But this one is modified. It isn't hooked up to Horde Prime and.....Whoever did this somehow got your old chip Catra and made it modified to not be turned off or removed as Horde Prime's...."Entrapta says

"Can it be removed though?"Catra asks worriedly

"Well....Yes, but it holds all her memories and removing it would erase all of them, not to mention being painful in all forms. She'd be going from square one with nothing to stand on mentally to foundate her. She's just lucky she has any memories now."Entrapta says

"So.....No crushing it with a rock to the neck?"Toph asks

"NO!"They all shout

"I also noticed some more hostile code in it as if to make her go nuts at something.....Or maybe it's for the device to hurt her when she does something.....I'll find a way to fix it! But it will take time."Entrapta says

I sink into my natural human form, quickly learning how to switch forms.

Word spread to my friends. They all tried to help me and made sure Cukeme didn't bother me again. But they only seemed to get closer to me.

Kyle and Martin approached me, picking me up between them, leaving me unable to leave. I flail my legs and look between them confusedly. They made conversations casually as if this is normal.

They start leaning in. Each of our faces burn. I cover their mouths, stopping them.

"G-Guys?! W-What is going on?"I ask

"Operation Double L."Martin says

"What the hell is that?"I ask

"Operation Love Lunar. We want to ensure you know how loved and special you are. You can trust us."Kyle says

I lower my hands hesitantly. Those are the only things I've ever wanted from others. Love, Value and Loyalty. Things never shared back at...Old World. Not even from my careless brother. I smile a bit, knowing that they are honest, another value I have. They lean in, kissing my cheeks and my face burns. I was put down and went through my classes as I usually do.

At night I'd morph into my other form to embrace it. I became closer with Nezuko and Scorpia. We'd go out at night and have fun however we please. Scorpia and I would enjoy parks or gardens alone, relaxing. It reminded her of her girlfriend, Perfuma who could make beautiful plants grow and such. To me it was relaxing. But it also allowed me to see the sweetness under that tough exterior of hers. Nezuko and I were more lively. We'd jump from rooftop to rooftop or just running around in the dark in order to not be spotted or freak others out. Despite not being able to talk, she was very sweet and we communicated well. She and I grew close, getting each other out of tough situations.

I got a letter months later and opened it. Instantly I was overwhelmed. I drop to my knees. Catra, Encre and Toph, my considered "family" by now, come over to see what was going on. Graduation has come and gone but the school year is still coming to a close.

"What is it?"They ask

"I got accepted!"I say, showing a letter from a college I applied to

That got them excited and they hugged me. They gave me a full ride scholarship for whatever reason they chose me, but I wasn't going to question it. I was just happy to get in, knowing how hard it is. Still, it required me to travel to a completely different state. I took a part-time waitress job just to ensure that I will be stable financially and prepared for any unexpected costs.

Eric had gotten into a nearby university so we decided to go to the state together and help each other settle in. We started packing things up and making plans with our friends on how to keep in contact.

I was walking to my dorm to see if I got everything when a girl came over to me quickly, getting me to back up into a wall. I recognize her. It;s the girl at the bus stop.

"Nighty, it's me. It's Killsy. I'm here to take you home."She says

The chip starts burning me as the nicknames spark something in me for a moment.

"I AM home."I say

"No, you don't understand. You were taken out of your homeworld and put here. I'm here to take you home."She says

"No, YOU don't understand. I've never met a Killsy before in my life. NOBODY calls me Nighty. That place was living hell. I was put through pain so many times, neglected as if I were nothing! Bullies and traitors everywhere, I couldn't even rely on my own brother! Nobody cared for me there! I did all the right things and got punished! A mob of bullies threatened my life and my brother's if I did not listen to them and end my pathetic life! It was only luck that a portal brought me here! Going back there would be a death wish! I don't care who you think you are or who paid you or what my perfect brother told you to get you here, but I am not going back there! That place is horrible! I could die and nobody would care! My brother wouldn't even shed a tear! I bet you on his crown that it's true! To anyone in that world, I was NOTHING and NOBODY-!"I snap

"No! You were something and somebody to me! And still are!"She says

Her cheeks turned red. My cheeks burned and tears form in my eyes.

"What...?"I say

"You were everything and worth more than anyone to me! I love you! I miss you! I want you back! I came on my own! Please, come back! We can fix this! Together!"She insists

"Bullshit. That is bullshit! You can't fix something broken like this! I know those words are a lie so don't speak them! If I meant so much to you, where were you? Where were you when I needed you the most? Cause there I only had three kinds of people:Bullies, traitors and bystanders. Which were you? Huh? Cause NOBODY fell into a loved category."I growl

She is silent, looking away.

"That's what I thought. Nowhere. Now get away from me."I say

Nezuko comes out of nowhere, knocking her away. She quickly comes back over to check my conditions and I thank her. She got alarmed at my burning chip and got Blue quickly. Blue quickly came with Dust. Blue hugged me and soothed me, knowing there is nothing we can do than to let the chip cool on its own.

"What happened to my Nighty?"I hear the girl ask Dust

"Nightmare got chipped and it took advantage of his mind and his lack of known origin, twisting his mind to its liking. He doesn't remember anything beyond the events in DreamTale, though edited a bit. The only reason he knows Blue, Fallacy, Encre or even me is because we were here prior to the chip and now he knows us as his friends or classmates. The rest of his memories are locked in that chip but nobody can get them free without them being erased forever. Even if the chip is removed. And any attempt to remind him just causes the chip to burn into him."Dust explains

The chip burned so bad that I blacked out after hearing this. When I woke back up, Nezuko and Scorpia were beside me, looking at me worriedly. When they saw me awake, they both hugged me tightly. I giggle and they nuzzle their heads against me.

"Lunar, are you ok?"Blue asks

I look at him, somehow unable to remember how I got here.

"Yes....What happened? What's going on?"I ask

"You don't know?"He says

I shake my head.

"We're finishing packing."He says

"Oh!"I say, nodding

I glance over to see a girl hugging Dust, crying. I approach her and she looks at me.

"Who are you?"I ask

"K-Kim...."She whimpers

"Are you ok....?"I ask

She shakes her head, but her body language said she didn't want to explain. I understood.

"If you ever want to chat.....Call."I say, giving her my phone number

She nods.

"Lunar! The car is all set! If we leave now, we'll get to the flight on time!"Eric says, coming over

I nod.

"Can I check my room?"I ask

He nods. I quickly check my room, finding something I must've forgotten by mistake. My favorite doll of a skeleton I often sketched. I was relieved that I got it now. I grab it and leave.

"All set!"I say

"Good. I'll have you sit in the back so you can stretch out, plus I know you get anxious on highways."He says

"The cars FLY and the highways just seem to get higher and even more risky each day! Of course I do! But...Thanks for considering that."I say

He holds my hand and kisses me on the head.

"Who's he?"Kim asks

"Eric. Good friend it seems. Can't tell much else."Dust says

I go out with Eric and hug my friends or fam goodbye before hopping in the car with Eric driving us away.

We reached the colleges and helped each other settle in. The semester doesn't start until summer is over but we are ready early. And it gives us time to make routines and such. I found that I was set up to room with Nezuko. Scorpia was just down the hall and I helped them both settle in. We spent time together and I even got to meet Scorpio's girlfriend, Perfuma. She was really nice. I called each of my friends to keep in touch and Kim kept calling me. As summer continued, we seemed to chat more and get closer than before.

"Why do you have that doll?"She asked once over a video chat

I glance at my doll.

"I had this dream where a skeleton looking like that was there for me, my closest friend and....made me feel special. Made me feel things I haven't felt before. So I kind of kept a doll of them....."I say

I smile.

She smiles as well.

A few days later, there was a knock at my door. I open the door to find Eric there with a bouquet of roses.

"H-Hey, Lunar...Before we get b-busy with college, would you like to go to dinner with me?"He asks

I saw no reason that I couldn't. He's really sweet. He gives me the roses.

"Sure, what time?"I ask

He smiles.

"Around 8? I'll come to pick you up."He says

We had a wonderful night. But by the end we decided to stay friends. He realized his feelings were strong but nothing romantic or beyond friends. It was just everyone pressuring him to make him think it was romantic. And I didn't feel a click with him either. We were okay with it. It was worth a shot.

Also he admitted that he is bisexual.

"Hey! I got an idea! How about we try and match each other!"He suggests

"Could it be fun?"I ask

He nods.

"Well okay then."I say

Classes started up and I focused on those. But after a few months I found a match for Eric and the two hit it off. He is being very careful with me in return. And in free time I'd research ways to fix the chip on my neck. It's been growing to be more of a problem. Every day I'd wake up and remember or forget random things.

Scorpia and others started bringing m around to new places to try new things. Some were fun, others were not. I took some jobs for experiene in a job I'd like to take. Something with kids and psyhcology. Being able to understand others can be good and I know that being understood when others don't is one of the best feelings ever. I love kids and helping kids would be nice and fun, knowing that kids or teens are popular age ranges for bullying. Some jobs weren't traditional. I watched over kids, tutored them, listened to them, helped with their bad dreams, watched movies with them, subbed at schools, etc. In some cases parents hired me to help them overcome their fears. I have been showing my other form more often. So some have asked for me to use that. One literally hired me to pretend to be their lonely child's  imaginary friend in a "physical form". I listened to the kid's troubles, played with him, handled the issues that the child would not tell adults or has told adults but got no help regardless. By the end of it the child was helped and has some friends to play with. I knocked bullying out of those kids' minds.

Next thing I know, it is summer break. I made plans to head down to the beach to catch up with friends. So Scorpia, Nezuko, Perfuma, Eric and I climbed into my car and I drove us down to the beach in a state close to where each of our colleges/homes are so we don't go too far just for a day in sand and ocean waters.

We got there and I grin, finding a spot and setting everything up. I hear purring, then glance over to see Catra coming over with Adora happily. I help them get set up as well after Catra hugged me happily. We all chatted with each other as we put on sunscreen and stuff like that. But soon everyone went to play in the sand, find seashells, make sandcastles, or play in the water. Catra and I sat on towels, relaxing in the shade of umbrellas. We talked and watched as Nezuko reunites with her brother and they bury Scorpia and Adora with Perfuma, making sand scultuptures out of them. We could hear them laugh. Then out of nowhere Catra gets hit by a flying ball of water. Not a balloon or sprayed, it flew over. She jolts, hissing. I hear more laughter, but another voice's.

"How the heck did Mermista get here?"She asks

"I met her at my college and she wanted to come along to see Adora!"Blue says, walking over with Dust

"Blue! Dust!"I cheer while Mermista goes to join Adora

I hug them happily, then hug Encre and Fallacy as well. After that everyone started coming, greeting and catch up.

"Lunar, I wanna show you something! Come on!"Blue says, leading me away

He buys us snow cones and smiles.

"Your love has a liking for darks and whites in their appearance, like purple or blue. His eyes are blue, maybe red."The worker says as they decorate Blue's ice cream and hands it to him

His had a scoop of vanilla with purple frosting or something on top and a rasberry scoop on top with a bit of blue at the tip.

Then the worker glances at me with a grin.

"Your love could have white skin or none, long wavy hair or stripes common in their look. Their face lights up just looking at you. Their eyes are red when visible. Enjoy!"He says

Vanilla scoop for skin/no skin, chocolate syrup for stripes or hair, vanilla scoop with sprinkles for bright face and cherry for eyes. We walk away.

"What was that about?"I ask

"It's a special they have."Blue says

I look at mine and grin. We head back and sit on the towels, eating away.

We chat with everyone.

"So? We've heard that you've done some jobs, Lunar. What's it like dealing with kids?"Kyle asks

"Huh?"Catra asks

"I do babysitting and stuff. It's nice."I reply

I grin.

"I bet you'd be awesome at that."Catra says with a wide grin

I smile.

"Yeah, it's quite fun. They're very sweet. Let's just say I know every movie song or child song now, especially Disney."I chuckle

I grin.

I finish my ice cream and tie my hair up. I dive into the water, swimming in the waters. I messed around, splashing my friends and stuff like that. Then a thought came to mind as I noticed someone was missing.

"Hey guys? Does anyone know where Kim is?"I ask

"No, we all lost touch with her."Martin says

"I'm surprised you remember her."Kyle says

"We have kept in contact."I say

"Oh...."They say

"Lunar help!"Catra yelps as she gets chased around by our friends trying to splash her

I notice Adora is one of them.

"*Gasp* Adora how could you betray her like this? I'm coming, Catra!"I giggle, running over

I keep Catra from getting splashed but we all were messing around. Then Catra leapt onto me from behind, yelping in fear. I turn to see a toddler with a water gun smiling at us.

"Pew pew kitty!"The toddler giggles

I giggle.

"Supwise attack!"The toddler says

"Good one. Now, where is your family?"I ask as Catra leapt from me to Adora with some purrs

The little girl looks around to figure it out. I see fear overcome her.

"Come on, I'll help you find them."I say

She takes my hand and we wander around, trying to locate her family. We ended up going to the other end of the beach to do so. Her siblings were playing volleyball and the parents sitting nearby, the mother looking worried as if she KNEW something wasn't right. I took the child over to her and she hugged her child happily.

"Where did you run off to?"She asks

"Supwise attack! Waves took me dat way so I played there!"The child says

The mother looks at me.

"Thank you for bringing her back."She says

"No problem."I say

I walked back to my friends with a grin. Then I decided to just relax on a floatie and just ride the waves.

"Hey guys, sorry that I'm late. I hit a lot of traffic."I hear Kim say

I glance over and felt my heart skip a beat.

She looks......beautiful.....

Suddenly a voice started speaking to me. A different voice.

"That's the girl you're going to marry."It coos

"Nah, you're going to make her life hell. You're nothing good."The older voice says

I shake my head.

Not this again.....

I see two figures appear on each of my shoulders. Angel and devil. Great, now I'm hallucinating....I've seen Emperor's New Groove WAAAY too many times now!

"She deserves love too. They'd be good together."The angel says

"Nah, I see a nasty break-up in hmmm, a week?"The devil says

The two begin bickering back and forth, then a shout cuts them both off.

"LUNAR LOOK OUT!"Catra shouts

Then I got taken under by a wave. It was a tougher one, tossing me around. Scorpia grabs me and lays me down. Everyone began firing questions at me.

"Guys I'm fine. The chip was just acting up again."I say

Catra hugs me, purring with a glare.

"DONT scare me like that again!"She snaps

"Got it."I say

They all settle down, playing again. I go over to Kim and smile.

"Hey Kim. How are y-"I begin

"KIM! Check this out!"Blue says, running over and showing his phone to her

Kim's eyes go wide.

"There's a chance!"Blue says

"Chance for what?"I ask

"Nothing!"Blue says, running off

I look at Kim.

"I'm guessing that you're doing good. Your tattoos look nice."I say

She looks at her legs and her face turns a bright red.

"T-Thank you....I didn't know you were into tattoos."She says

"Well my other form has some so it's hard not to have an interest."I say

That seemed to get her interest.

"Can I see them?"She asks

I summon tht part of my other form but stay normal. It is now in clear view, the purple flower tattoos that spread down my body, spiraling from my neck to the back of my legs and heels. She looks amazed.

"Maybe sometime I can show you the rest of my form."I suggest, crouching down to make a sand castle

She kneels down to join me. We chat, catching up and joking. I felt happy. But a special kind of happy that I've only felt in certain dreams. I smile, thinking the angel was right.

Eventually, the sun started going down so we start to pack up. I notice Eric and Nezuko went over to Kim, speaking very secretively or signing things secretively. I shrugged it off and after a little while was back on the road to go home.

A few days later, I helped Eric with his fashion major by coming to his class to model a design of his. It was a sleek purple dress with long  bell sleeves, a sweetheart neckline in the front and back zip in the back. The dress went just past my knees and was easy to move around in. It had an intricate design that he made himself, inspired by the night sky. I didn't say this publicly to him, but it's hard to get the zipper. After class he revealed to me he made multiple versions-5 or 6- of this dress in purple or other colors. He told me I could keep the one he had me wear. I thanked him and went to relax since I didn't have classes today. I just hung out in my dorm until I got a text from him hours later.

Eric:Wanna go to dinner? Nezuko, Kim and I are planning to go out. You in?

I forgot Kim was only a few towns away. A smirk crawled onto my face at the idea of seeing her again.

Me:Sure.

Eric:Ok! Score! Go to the Lovely Eclipse and ask about a reservation under my name! be there in 5 minutes, we'll be there!

Five minutes? Thanks for the heads up!

Me:Ok.....

I quickly get up, straighten things up and throw my shoes on, grabbing a bag and heading out the door. I walk quickly down the streets to the restaurant and do what he told me to do. The greeter looked at me a weird way, then smirked and lead me to a table with two chairs.

He asked for the wrong amount again.

I didn't think much of it since Eric can be silly sometimes, thinking a table for two means they'll double the number of chairs to four. I see Kim sitting in one of the chairs. I sit in the other that was positioned directly across from her. The greeter pushes the chair in and leaves. I notice the table was specifically put on the darker end of the restaurant so it would require candle-light and had a rose in a vase.

I look at Kim and she waves a bit with a smile, seeming to be sizing me up even though we've met before.

"You look lovely."She says

"T-Thanks, are you waiting for Eric and Nezuko as well?"I ask

She nods.

"Huh, well it's better than being alone and waiting."I say

I see a band or orchastra get together on a little stage of the restaurant near us and start playing Beauty and the Beast. Things started clicking as time went on. Nezuko and Eric haven't arrived and all Kim and I have done have awkwardly talked or order drinks.

Formal restaurant....Reservation....Table for two....Candle light....Rose in vase....Evening time.....Band playing our favorite love songs....We're wearing formal clothes....They haven't shown up for half an hour now.....WAIT DID HE SET ME-

DING!

I look at my phone to see a text from Eric.

Eric:Hey, sorry. Nezuko and I realized that we can't come. A little something came up called YOUR BLIND DATE!

Me:ERIC I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!

"Excuse me for a moment."I say, going to the ladies' bathroom

I go into a stall and call Eric.

"Eric what the heck?!"I ask

"What? You two may be a good couple!"He says

"We are just FRIENDS! And this set-up just made it awkward since we were waiting for you!"I say

"She knew the whole time that we weren't coming!"He says

"WHAT?!"I snap

"I know you, Lunar. You avoid romance and chances to fall in love as if it were The Plague. I knew if I told you that you were going on a blind date that you'd find a way to avoid it. I did this out of love. Now go have fun with Kim!"He says

"Eric!"I say

"We both are busy! Bye, Lunar!"He says, hanging up

I try to calm down. My chip burns into me again. I settle that down as well and get back to my seat. I force a smile and start up a conversation with her. That smile became real after she cracked some jokes. A meal was set in front of us, paid for by Eric apparently. We had a lovely night after all and left the restaurant, not used to such formalities.

"Is it crazy that HE set us up?"I ask as we walk through a city park together

"It was more awkward than anything."She says

"He is really into cliche romances so that was probably part of it."I chuckle

"Well tonight has been lovely with you."She says

"I could say the same with you."I giggle, holding her hand

"How about I give you a ride home?"She suggests

"Aww, but the night is young! There aren't classes tomorrow for either of us! You said so yourself!"I say, not wanting this night to end

She pins me to a tree when I said that.

"Oh really? Well how may I make this young night any better?"She asks with a sly tone

My face burns at her gaze and I giggle a bit.

"Time to get creative.~"She coos with a tone that sent tingles down my spine in a good way.

She leans in closer and I giggle. One of her hands reach around my neck, flicking at my chip or poking it.

"W-What are you doing?"I ask

"So you do have a chip. Ya know I have a friend that can get that removed or fixed for ya. They are in the technology major this year."She says

"Do we really have to talk about this thing now?"I ask

"Good point.~"She says, lifting my chin up

She leans in, kissing me. My face burns up, my heart running a marathon, my eyes shut and....I liked it. She scoops me off my feet with a grin, ending the kiss. I realize I'm off the ground and squeak in alarm for a moment. She giggles, finding it cute she says.

"How about we go to my place then?~"She suggests

"O-Okay...."I say

She sets me down and we walk to her car. A hand roughly grabs me by the arm. I look to see Cukeme there.

"What the? What are you doing here?"I snap, tearing away

"The chip alerted me that you're up to something. I'm here to help it do its job."He says

I get pulled away from him and find Kim holding me behind her.

"You leave her alone! She is one of the most sweetest people ever so for you to take advantage of her like this with the chip and put her through its pain is disgusting! You lay another finger or anything on her and I will make you sorry!"She snaps

"Sure you will."Cukeme says

Within seconds she had a knife to his neck. We were in a deserted street, nobody was around.

"Fucking try me."She growls

Cukeme flees.

Kim turns to me and smiles, tossing the knife into the car. I hug her tightly. She smiles and has me take the shotgun seat. She drives me to an apartment building and CARRIES ME into her apartment. One thing lead to another, I got flustered, she was assertive, and all I can say is that the neighbors may have some noise complaints later. I woke up in her bed beside her with only a shirt and shorts on. The dress was on the floor. Last night comes flooding back into my mind. I felt my face burn up. But a smirk came with it. I fell for her.

I get a call from Entrapta.

I go to the bathroom in order to not wake Kim.

"I FOUND A WAY TO FIX THE CHIP GET HERE NOW BYE!"She says, hanging up

I come back out and smile, looking at Kim as she wakes up. Entrapta suddenly burst into the room and grabs me.

"Let me take it so I can analyze it!"She cheers

Within seconds she tore the chip from me and instantly my mind opened up, then the guilt hit me. I thank her but run home, curling up in a ball on my bed. I could feel a mark from the chip.

I'm supposed to love Killer and only Killer! It's where I belong! It's.....He's where I belong....

My soul suddenly glows in front of me brightly.

I suddenly appear in Kim's arms. I was so confused. My soul must be broken again. My code HAS to be glitching.

"Hey Nighty.~"She coos

"Who are you calling Nighty?!"I snap

"You.~ Why? You liked it while you were in a coma."She says

I never was in a coma here.

"K-Killer....?"I say

"Don't you mean Killsy?"He asks teasingly

I kiss him. I kiss him like there was no tomorrow.

"You're an idiot."I say

He gets this cocky grin on his face.

"That's not what you told me last night.~"He says with a wink

"SHUT UP!"I say, shoving his face away

"I love you, Nighty."He says

"....I love you too."I say
