Geno's POV

After a long ride, we arrive in a small town. Blueprint points people or things out, explaining them to me. I spot a group of three huddled together, talking or listening. Raven lets me off of the horse while he and Blueprint went to tell their leader that I was found. Thanks to Blueprint, I knew who they were.

The one wearing a hat is Radier, the other 2nd in command. The leader's right hand man while Raven is the left hand man.

The one with brown hair beside Radier is Fury, a lookout and undercover guard that ensures nobody gets in trouble and protects them if they do.

The one in purple is Ghastly. He takes care of others medically or in general, supplying everyone with food or things to ensure they are healthy and happy. He is not to be messed with though.

I decide to approach them since I don't know any other places or people to go to. They start to disband and Ghastly puts a purple cap on his head. He glances over, spotting me. He waves to me.

"Hello there!"He says with a bright smile

"Hello."I say

He pauses for a moment, then smiles wider, running over to hug me.

"Geno!"He cheers

"How'd you know it was me?"I ask

"I can sense your fears and they'd match the ones I recall you had before the reset! Thank goodness you're ok!"He says

Radier and Fury look at us in shock, but then grin and leave.

"Come on! Let's get you settled in!"He says, leading me away

I follow him through the streets, arriving at a little house. We go inside and it was huge on the inside. It had many rooms built and leading underground, making the huge space for the organization really subtle. He takes me to one of the many spare rooms, giving me clothes to wear. All their clothes have coded enchantments to hide souls from the list. When I got changed, he took me to a dining room and brought some food. Then he brought two babies in and put them in baby seats, feeding them.

"Apparently when it got reset, so did the future. Including these babies who would've been born in the future. This is my brother Magnus and the other is Jasper's brother Pente."He says

"Ah, I see."I say

"I dunno much about caring for babies but I'm going to do my best and show them all the love that I can!"He says

I nod.

Later, I was assigned to work with Ghastly, especially with the babies. The babies were adorable. Plus I learned that Raven and the leader would be kids related to me and Reaper, as well as a brother of theirs named Goth. I found that interesting.

I spent days here. Weeks, months even. I lost track. Often I would go for supply runs to get stuff for the kids or to cook for everyone, buying from nearby stores. Nobody really tried to kill me. None of the reapers or deaths even knew me. Raven taught me the signs to spot one that is disguised....At least the ones who don't step out of line. And if one were to try to bother me, I'd either show the symbol on my wrist which would cause them to flee or Raven would suddenly come in and scare them off with his scythe. But often it would be peaceful. Honestly, it felt like a home. Better than the save screen. We were so close, working together and had each other's backs that it felt like one big family. Life certainly failed if she intended to put me through hell like she implied she would. I haven't exactly met the leader but know they are a she and SHE is very busy handling things with her brother and best friend helping her do so. And of course I haven't heard anything from my friends or seen anyone besides the deaths patrolling, strangers, and the "family" I have joined.

One day I was walking to the market to get some supplies. Ghastly got an idea to make a farm underground so we don't have to risk going outside for food anymore. We'll have everything we need here and only go out for tools once the farm is made. He says it is especially best for me since Life seems to want the deaths bring her my dust in a jar. She wants me dead.

Anyways, I was a few blocks away from the stores I needed to go to when I heard footsteps from behind me.

Uh oh......This can not be good.

I look over my shoulder to see who it might be. I always have to keep my guard up when alone.

I see a grim reaper following behind me. They weren't even hiding themselves, wearing the well-known black cloak that didn't look solid based on its liquid-like rippling as it moves and hood hiding their face. I glance away, trying to act casual. Maybe they are after someone else! There's no way they know it's me. These clothes hide my soul from all possible lists, no matter what Life may try to change that. I duck into the store for gardening and search for the things on Ghastly's list but it was fresh out of stock. I sigh and keep walking, constantly checking over my shoulder for the mysterious grim reaper following me. I bump into someone and back up.

"I'm so sorry, I-"I begin

"Geno?"A voice says

I glance at the person to see a boy with caramel hair, light skin, a glassy eye-blind most likely- and yellow eye like mine and wearing a red shirt with jeans and black shoes.

"Hello, who might you be?"I ask

"I'm Goth. What is this place?"He asks

"What happened to you?"I ask

"Life found me in OuterTale and took me from my friend, then dropped me into this world."He says

"Well, this is a world that grim reapers frequently come to do their job at. Her plan was to get them to kill anyone she sends here without them knowing her motives but it is really failing. Here, give me your wrist."I say

He nods, extending his wrist to me. I use my finger to make the symbol and it glows brightly, signaling that it will stay.

"There, you are protected."I say

"Why are we even targets?"He asks

"She doesn't seem to like the idea of Reaper being near us."I say

"Are my siblings safe?"He asks

"They are down the street in a brown cottage. They'll explain things to you better. They know more than I do."I whisper to him

"Ok! Thank you!"He says, running off

I smile.

"So...You're Geno?"A voice says

I turn to see a look-alike to Geno, except their hair was a dark black and red tips with a red eye and clothes the opposite colors of Goth's, plus their jeans were ripped with holes.

"Yes?"I say

This stranger hugs me.

"I'm so glad you're okay."The child says

"Who are you?"I ask

"I'm Lotus, Just someibe worried about you."He says

"It's nice to me-"I begin

"I will protect you from any threats."He says, then runs off as well

I smile a bit, feeling safer.

I go outside to check another store and within seconds the stranger from before was at my side.

"Hello."The stranger says

I show the mark on my wrist.

"Wow, who gave you that?"They ask

"A friend."I say

"Are you Geno?"They ask

"Depends, did Life send you?"I reply

"No. My nephew and niece called me here."They say

"But there aren't any phones here."I say

"Our scythes have devices to reach each other."They say

Scythes....Nephew and niece......Raven and his sister? Goth is new here so I doubt he'd call his family into the unknown from what I'm told or can tell about him....Could this be Reaper's brother? But how would he even know about them with the reset?

"What nephew and niece?"I ask

"Their names are Shino and Raven."They say

That confirms it.

I watch them lower their hood, revealing that they are Reaper's brother Papyrus. I may not have met him as far as I can recall, but I know what he's like thanks to Reaper.

"So? Are you Geno?"He asks

I nod.

"It's nice to meet you. Though it may be better if it weren't in these circumstances. How do you remember them with the multiverse reset?"I ask

"I was going through a portal so I guess my memories couldn't be erased."He says

Then he grabs my hand, pulling me close. 

"My brother has been worried sick about you! I'm so glad that you are okay!"He says, then looks me up and down

I look at him confusedly.

"Dear stars you're going to make him a blushing mess.."He says

"What?"I ask

"He always tells me how beautiful you are as your normal self so he'll probably find you beautiful with your current condition."He says, then picks me up and carries me to the house.

 Farming plans were completely abandoned that day and replaced with welcoming Goth and Papyrus into the base and organization. Ghastly and I helped them get settled in. When he sat in his bed, he summoned his scythe and grins. Then he takes his phone out, calling someone.

"Hey Bro, I have great news! No I didn't destroy Life. I did something even better. I found Geno.~"He says

He pauses for a moment, glancing at me with a grin.

"I could change it to a FaceTime call for you to see him, just promise not to faint."He says

I zip back to my room, shutting the door. I dunno why, I just felt like I wasn't ready to see Reaper.

Not today!

A weeks later, I tried to go to the stores at night so that I'm safe or might have better luck. I was walking down the streets when I heard footsteps.

"Life? What are you doing here?"A voice asks

I turn to see a stranger standing there. He frowns.

"That's you in disguise isn't it?"He asks

"What are you talking about?"I ask

"You don't exactly change your fashion in disguise."He says

I glance down, recalling that Papyrus gave me a green dress to wear. One that I now realize is the same shade of green that Life wore. I glance up to see the stranger lower their hood to reveal themselves as Reaper. He takes his scythe out.

"R-Reaper? This isn't what it looks like. I'm not Life. Your brother just had me wear this."I say

He throws his scythe at me and I duck.

"As if I'd believe that!"He snaps

"Okay....Not in a mood to talk. Man and I thought an angry goddess was bad...."I mumble, then flee

"Get back here!"He yells

I do some sharp turns and lose him in some crowds. I dart into one of the stores, hiding in the garden aisles. I sigh with relief. I gather the things I need for the underground farm and grab a red scarf since Life tore up my red one when she took me. I put it on to feel somewhat like my normal self. I check to see if Reaper was around. He was not as far as I could see. I keep walking home but suddenly the scarf is torn off of me.

"You don't get to wear this scarf."Reaper's voice snarls in my ear

I turn to him and felt my body tremble.

"Reaper....Please don't do this."I say, my voice trembling

"I don't care about consequences or rules, you nor anyone will EVER hurt my Geno again!"He snaps, swinging the scythe at me

I dodge quickly.

His?!

"Reaper please don't make her words true about you! Please!"I say, trying to reason with him

He doesn't answer. I drop the bags and dodge as he continues to swing at me. I fall down and he looms over me. I kick him away and try to run. I feel two arms wrap around me. I shut my eyes, thinking that I'm dead.

Clang!

I open my eyes and gasp, finding Lotus holding me close to him protectively. He held a sword, deflecting the scythe. He just saved me from Reaper. I saw the bandages on his arms from training and he glared Reaper down.

"W-wha? I-I-Thank you, I-!"I say

"I told you I was going to protect you and I plan on keeping that promise. No need to thank me, it's just honesty. I'll handle him."He says, kissing me on the head

"Reaper, what did Life do to manipulate you like this?"Lotus growls

"Life is gonna pay. Just hand her over now."Reaper growls, snatching his scythe back

"This isn't Life! This is Geno! She isn't the only one that can wear green!"He snaps

I look at Reaper, hearing his scythe clatter to the ground.

"Geno...?"He says softly

The weight of everything that could've happened hit me hard. Life was nearly right. He nearly killed me. What would've happened after that? I hated the thoughts that came to mind.

"Let's go to Boss, Geno."He says

I look at him, then look at Reaper. My grip tightens subconsciously on Lotus seeing the scythe.

"O-Okay."I say, bowing my head

I feel the ground leave me. I see that Lotus lifted me up and was leaping from each roof. He takes me inside and sets me in a room.

I see Shino sitting in the room. Lotus leaves the room. She looks at me, then Papyrus beside her.

"Get your brother."She says

He nods, leaving. She pulls me close to her. I explain how things went so wrong and she holds me close, humming a tune to soothe me.

"Don't worry, Mama Geno. You protected and comforted me, now I'm doing the same."She says

"Thank you...."I say softly

I hear a door click.

"Found him outside wandering."Papyrus says

"What the hell is this place?!"Reaper asks

"Our cozy little home. Life underestimates others way too much. I hear you have been naughty, Reaper. Why exactly did you ASSUME based on a clothing color that someone had to get killed or was Life of all people?"Shino says

"Cause I was being impulsive."I hear Reaper say

"That impulsiveness nearly killed Geno. Surely you realize that. You nearly made one of Life's lies a truth."She says

"WHAT?!"Reaper exclaims

I get lifted into her lap, then she tucks me under some blankets beside her in a bed.

"She wanted you to kill Geno. That's why he looks completely different. She wanted you to be unable to recognize him andkill him, she said it to his face."Shino says

"Plus you broke a rule attempting to kill him."Papyrus says

Shino shows the mark on my arm. So it is a rule!

"You aren't supposed to go after anyone with that mark."Papyrus says

"Who marked him?"Reaper asks

"My brother marks everyone in the organization so Life's plans to kill them fail as well."Shino replies

"Hey, Geno! I found these bags of yours! Now we're all set to farm!"I hear Ghastly shout

I look at Shino.

"You may go."She says

I smile, then head out of the room. I spent a while with Ghastly to make the underground farm, get the farm started and care for the babies. Then I went to my room. I was opening the door when two arms wrapped around me from behind and a head rests on my shoulder. I notice the hands avoided touching me since they weren't covered by sleeves like the arms are.

"Geno...."Reaper's voice coos

I glance over and it's him.

"What are you doing?"He asks

"Going to sleep."I say

His grip loosens. It felt tense and awkward. Just hours ago he was mistaking me for Life and tried to kill me. I feel something wrap around my neck. It wasn't the scarf I bought, it was my actual scarf.

"Error sewed it back together..."He says

"T-Thank you....Good night, Reaper."I say

"Night...."He says

The next few days Reaper was very protective. He questioned, watched or snapped at any of the organization. Especially the boys, which is a handful of the group. He didn't trust them very much and his excuses were full of jealousy according to his brother. Part of it was because he didn't understand why Goth, Shino and Raven call me Mama Geno or seemed so close to me. But there were times where he was just being silly. Once Fury wished me a good day and apparently Reaper thought that the kid was hitting on me! Or once he overheard Ghastly telling me that he had to check the sweetness of some apples with the Sweetness Meter, he thought Ghastly was trying to hit on me by calling me that when really it was a meter drawn on a wall with signs to look for to tell how sweet something is. He doesn't realize that these "human adults" were really skeletal children. When his brother told me this, I was not that surprised. I chuckled, happy even for things to seem normal again when he is around.

"He is a dork."I say

"Tell me about it."He says

Eventually, Reaper settled down and learned the truth of the situation. The kids weren't even surprised.

"He was always impulsive and protective like that."Raven told me

I found that interesting.

After a while, Reaper and his brother left to work in order to not raise suspicion. Nobody was sure if we should leave or find a way to get turned to normal. Life may have wanted posters of us at this point. Papyrus found some sketches in Life's garden implying that after all.

A few days later I went out with Goth to see if we could locate Palette. Life might've dumped him here as well...We searched around, leaving town to check other locations and noticed that a new building opened up on the edge of another town. We shrug and decide to check it out. We walk over to it and I realize it's a bar. A very rowdy bar even.

I grab Goth and shake my head. There's no way we are going in there. We keep walking past it, deciding to head home. but then a dark blur snatches Goth away. I see his scythe go flying past my head and hear him scream. I go after him and find that some drunk girls had worked together to snatch him to their house. They are obviously drunk and not thinking straight but still managed to execute this plan of theirs. One spots me and whistle. Another grabs me, pulling me inside.

One restrained me while another played "dress-up". I was blind-folded and couldn't tell where they are. I feel two hands trail around my body.

"You have impressive structure...Beautiful....."A drunk voice says

A man's voice.

"I've had a bit to drink and you're starting to look pretty good."Another man's voice says from behind me while drunk

"Have fun boys.~ I know we will."A drunk girl's voice says

Oh hell no! This is not going to happen!

Luckily they were drunk and I've shot down Reaper's flirty moves so I think I can handle them. As soon as the blindfold was removed, I kicked one that was practically on top of me in the stomach and crotch. They fell back, groaning in pain. I break the restraints on my wrists and knock the other men away. I go to find Goth to find that the drunk girls passed out on him.

Well, most of them.

I hear footsteps and see more girls enter. They looked buzzed or a bit tipsy. Two grab me while another goes to Goth. I try to fight them off but they had more control or strength than the intoxicated ones. But then there was a yell and all the girls near Goth were shoved into the hall, knocking one of the girls holding me aside. I was now free and knocked the other girl away.

"STAY AWAY FROM MY GOTHY!"A voice yells

Out comes a girl with Goth in her arms. But the nickname gave a clue to who she is.

"Palette?"I say

"Hello, Mr. Geno."He says, confirming his identity

It matched what Goth told me about Palette.

"Is Goth okay?"I ask

"They tried to get him drunk to take advantage of him but he'll be okay."He says

"Palette...."Goth whines, holding onto him

Goth seemed dazed and lost but happy in his crush's arms. Goth kissed his cheek before burying his face in Palette's chest. Palette seems overjoyed.

"Come on, the horses are this way."I say

I lead them to the horses. When walking past the bar, the doors burst open with strangers charging forward. I get pulled back and I find Palette holding me with Goth in his arms still. A black blur dashes in front of me.

"LEAVE MY GENO ALONE YOU DRUNK WEIRDOS!"A familiar voice snaps

The drunk group scattered and fled.

Reaper turns, looking at me.

"What the heck are you doing here?"He asks

"We were trying to find Pally."Goth says, sounding tired

"Is he drunk?"He asks

"They tried to intoxicate him."Palette says

Reaper looks at me, circling me and even hovering upside down over me.

"How are you feeling?"He asks

"I feel alright...."I say

Palette runs to Goth's horse.

"Good, I'd hate those weirdos hurting you."He says

I smile.

"Only I can mess with you."He chuckles

"Mhm."I say, getting an idea to turn the tables on him

I kiss his cheek and watch his face burn up, looking shocked. It left a mark, probably because of the "dress up" one of the drunk girls did to me as if I were a toy. I didn't care for that.

His face is adorable....

"D-D-Did you just-?"He stutters

"I sure did. You've done so much to keep me safe. Your brother told me about your genuine worry and everything you did. I thought you could get something in return. Now come on."I say as it starts to rain

I hop on a horse as the rain starts to grow heavier. Palette holds the reins of both horses, yanks them, then gives me the reins. His horse runs off with him and Goth but due to the yank, mine had run off as well. I noice Reaper hovering beside me, looking smitten with a goofy grin on his face.

We ride home, put the horses in the stables and head inside. Shino pulls me aside, apparently informed by her slightly intoxicated brother of what went down.

"Papy!"Reaper exclaims

"Yes?"His brother says

I glance over while Shino is checking my conditions.

"Geno kissed my cheek!"He says happily

"Really?"His brother asks

"Yep! Right here!"He says, pointing to the spot

"There's nothing there, Reaper. It would've left a mark since one of the strangers put make-up on him. Or he could've died just touching you, duh. We are deaths and you haven't exactly gotten control of your touch or tried to control it so it's gonna be hard to control now. Just like that wild imagination you have. Are you sure you didn't daydream it?"His brother reasons

"I can control it! And it did happen!"He insists, but touches and kills a ceiling plant

".....Right....Controlled....."His brother says

"Not letting you in the farm."Ghastly says

"Let's get you in a dry cloak."Papyrus says

Reaper glances at me and I smile at him.

"I will gain control!"He shouts

"Indoor voice! Wake my brother up and you are doomed!"Ghastly snaps

Shino leads me away. She gives me a fresh set of clothes. I take a shower and get changed. I collapse in bed, falling asleep. I wake up the next morning and recall my dreams from last night. My face burns up, images returning to my mind. I shake my head, getting back to reality.

I found that Reaper was keeping to his word. Throughout the days that followed the day that he made that comment, he was trying to control his deadly touch. He no longer killed plants, but if he got frustrated or upset, the control was lost. Progress nonetheless. He had this special look in his eyes everytime we were together. I may or may not have been messing with him, vaguely answering his questions on the kiss.

"I didn't imagine it right?"He'd ask

"I dunno, did you?"I'd reply, holding back giggles

"Genooo! I need to know from you! I want it to be true that it wasn't my imagination but my mind can't confirm it! It has driven me nuts! Please tell me!"He whines when I did it today

Adorable.

"Alright alright! I did kiss your cheek."I say, bowing my head that was burning

I feel a hand grasp mine, carefully intertwining with mine. Another lifts my chin to come face to face with Reaper again, our eyes locked gazing into each other's. He was taking deep breaths, clearly trying to keep in control. His cheeks glowed.

"Geno, do you love me?"He asks

My face burns. I nod. He gazes at me with a grin.

He wants to hear me say it...He deserves to hear it.

"Reaper, I-"I begin

"Reaper!"A voice snarls, cutting me off

I look to see Life there. She glares at me. If looks could kill or people glare daggers at each other when angry, she was glaring scythes at me. I grip Reaper tighter and his grip loosens.

"Hello, Life."He says with a dull tone

"What are you doing here? Have you been spending time with this mortal?!"She asks

"Yes, yes I have."He says

I could tell he was not happy and neither is she. Two angry gods leads nothing good.

"What could it offer you that I can't? It could expire any day while I never expire!"She says

Oooo, that made Reaper snap.

"He doesn't offer me anything. Unlike you, we don't make things formal with deals or meetings, we just let loose and hang out. He lets me bond with him. He doesn't criticize me for every single thing I do. He teaches me things but doesn't make me feel stupid for not knowing things in life! He understands that Iam flawed and accepts me as me! Unlike how you snap at me for every leaf I accidentally kill with my touch! He shows me new things and allows us to experience new things! Seriously, when was the last time we met outside of that garden of yours? Never! Cause I always have to meet you there and you'll never leave! He makes me laugh! He makes me smile! He makes me feel normal like I'm not a nuisance or a weird being made to kill! He makes me happy and he is the one I LOVE! And he certainly doesn't put down my friends or try to get them killed or anyone close to us! Seriously! Those kids did NOTHING to deserve being reincarnated by you in the hopes that they get met with a scythe! HE did nothing to deserve this! How would you like it if I went to that precious garden of yours and started killing every one of those beloved critters of yours?! You wouldn't! You're just lucky it didn't happen because I would've done it that way you know how your actions would've had consequences from me! How it would've felt! So don't you DARE try something like this again or threaten them again because so help me I will let YOU meet my scythe instead, regardless of consequences! I should even report you to Gaster or Asgore because of your abuse of power and disrupting the balance out of your stupidity! I'm sure Gerson will find your acts unwise!"He roared at her

"We're Life and Death! We mix well like Yin and Yang for balance! You and mortals don't! You'll get in trouble for not killing him!"She says

"No we don't! We do well keeping balance but that's all we do! If we mix well together, tell that to all the lives that were killed by us deaths and reapers! How good is it to them, huh? I don't care what happens to me because I decided to be happy and fall in love like a normal living being! At least I didn't abuse the balance of life and death to try to get others essentially murdered before it was their time! CHILDREN! CHILDREN for crying out loud! Have you gone nuts? I don't care what happens to me, as long as you are punished. Besides, I know I have people on my side. Do you after all the years you kept isolated in that garden of yours?"He snaps

"Ha, this mortal's word won't be enough if that's what you mean. I'll never get punished."She says

Reaper whistles. Out comes his brother and the kids. They stand with us and Papyrus carefully got me out of Reaper's hold, seeing how upset his brother is getting. I help Ghastly hold the babies, him holding his brother while I hold Pente. Goth and Raven proudly showed their scythes.

"This is just some of the folks that know what you did. I wonder how credible you will be when even the gods of creation and destruction go against you."Reaper says, referring to what his AU calls Ink and Error

"Ha! You have no proof! You'll never be believed that I did those crimes! I will never get caught!"Life laughs

"I did those crimes! I will never get caught! I did those crimes! I will never get caught!"A few echoes are heard

"Yeah, that would be true, but we recorded the whole conversation. You kinda didn't hide that you were here and were quite loud about it."Raven says

"Hey kids, wanna go on a trip?"Papyrus says

"Hell yeah!"Shino says

"Alright, everyone through the portal!"Papyrus says, opening a portal

"What are you doing?"Life asks

"Keeping my word."Reaper says

"No wrong act goes unpunished. You are not above the law and we certainly have the evidence. Never mess with deaths, Life. As nice as I am, I won't stand for you messing with my brother's happiness and breaking rules. You mess with a death, you get the scythe."Papyrus says

Reaper gets his phone out as we all file into the portal. Life stood there, stunned. It's as if she was trying to process what just happened, her jaw hanging open.

"Hey Error. You free? Yeah. Ink? Okay. Yep, it's happening."Reaper says

Ghastly pulls me excitedly through the portal and we came out the other end as our normal selves, even the babies. As everyone was coming through and making space for the others to come, there were thundering footsteps. I turn to see Asgore approaching. Of course not my Asgore but Reaper's god version. He spots us and smiles.

"Why hello there! What brings you all here?"He asks

"Toriel, er, Life is being a meanie! She abused her power!"Ghastly says

"That would be very unwise of her. She wouldn't do that. She hardly leaves that garden of hers to do anything anyways."Asgore says

"Tell that to all the folks coming to complain."Ghastly says

Gerson walks over once everyone came through. Asgore was shocked when Life walked through behind Reaper.

"I think it would be wise to listen to what they have to say."Gerson says

Pente woke up in my arms and looks around.

"Awww! What a cute little baby!"Asgore says, getting distracted obviously

He scoops me up to get a closer look at Pente.

"Sup Asgore."Raven says

"A balance has shifted. Life has disturbed the balance and I sense...A return! Wait a minute!"I hear a voice exclaim

Then Reaper's Gaster runs over. He spots Raven, Goth and Shino quickly. His face brightened with a big smile.

"Hi, Grandpa!"Shino says

"Grand-kiddos!"He cheers, hugging them happily

"Wait, GRANDKIDS?!"Reaper and Life exclaim

"Before the multiverse was reset, these were your kids and therefore my grandkids Reaper."Gaster says

"Gaster, we need to settle this issue."Gerson says

"What could she have possibly done that was so bad to disturb the balance?"Asgore asks

"She used her power to change their lives and put them in the crossfires of all deaths without alerting anyone. She basically tried to let them get killed with us deaths doing the dirty work."Papyrus says

"That's exactly it! Reaper has fallen in love with this freakish mortal!"Life snaps, pointing to me

I cover my eye with glitches again.

"Asgore, do not let your emotions or feelings toward Life cloud your judgment."Gerson says

Gaster came over and took me from Asgore's hold.

"There is nothing freakish about this mortal. And how dare you insult a fellow parent, Life."Gaster says, holding me tightly

"Wait, I had them with HIM?!"Reaper exclaims

"I thought that would be obvious with the red scarfs and similar clothing style."Papyrus says

Reaper fainted.

"Those babies you find so adorable Asgore were turned against their will to human babies and left in the middle of a forest for a death to find and kill before they even took their first steps. These kids or babies wouldn't have been there if Life didn't kidnap them and send them there. Including my nephews. And we shouldn't disrespect the rights or lives of mortals. If we treat another god kindly, we should treat mortals the same."Papyrus says

"Technically she did commit crimes. If not toward mortals but against demigods, my grandkids so regardless, she is in trouble."Gaster says

"But he broke rules too!"Life says, pointing to Reaper

"Yeah, to be happy. Everyone is entitled to that and honestly there are too many restrictions on him with his work. Besides, clearly in a past multiverse his supposed wrong-doing was balanced out by the birth of these blessings."Gerson says, gesturing to the kids

"It couldn't have been that bad."Asgore says

Right when he states that, a glitchy portal opens. Error and Ink walk through.

"HeY KiDdOs, ArE wE lAtE?"Error asks

"Nope! Asgore is in denial but things are just getting started."Goth says

"WhY iS ReApEr pAsSeD oUt On tHe fLooR?"Error asks

"He learned our ancestry."Raven says

"Ah, oK."Error says

"Denial huh? Well you better cut it out. Life, I have a few words for you once this is settled."Ink says, looking pissed

"Okay, this has got to be serious. When those two come to complain, it's bad."Gerson says

Asgore was silent, shocked. Life's face went pale.

"Oooh, I'm sorry, did you not expect this? Well it's a little something called consequences and you should've seen it coming when you decided to hurt my friend!"Ink snaps

His eyes were white skinny ovals, no colors or unique shapes at each blink, which shows how upset he is.

"What the heck did you do?!"Asgore asks Life

Life is silent. Completely silent. She won't look at anyone.

"Oh I'll tell you what she did! She found a bunch of kids that did nothing to her and learned who they knew and didn't like it so she decided to kidnap them and manipulate the system to get them killed! Then she found my friend Geno here and kidnapped him too! Then when she found out that he was closer to Reaper than her, she decided he has to die too out of spite! No reason, just cause she feels it is right because she was mad that Reaper is with him! To give you an idea, he and the kids went missing for WEEKS, MONTHS EVEN. And according to Reaper's brother, they were all wounded when found so he had to heal them! You hear that? A goddess of life hurt living beings and a god of death had to heal them!"Ink snaps

"ShInO aNd GoTh wEnT MisSinG fRoM mY HoMe aNd cOuLd nOt Be FounD aNyWhErE. ThEy aRe KiDs fOr CryInG oUt LoUd. WhAt? "How long exactly?"Asgore asks

"Should it even matter? She shouldn't have done it in ther first place! But check my scarf! Every tally is a week that they were missing!"Ink says, unraveling his scarf for them to examine

"108 tallies....That's 25 months or a little over 2 calender years missing!"Gaster says once examining it

"Now, let's get something straight here. You are not ABOVE mortals. You are just special ones that are put on a pedestal. Second, you are given powers for a REASON and should be RESPONSIBLE with them. You are the goddess of Life for a reason. You are supposed to use your power make life to keep a balance, not to use it like a hit-list for people that did nothing to you just because you didn't get your way! A little aspect of what you create, Life, is that during it you don't always get what you want and have to deal with it! You are a supernatural being, not the mafia! Leave that to Mafiatale! Third, you are given powers for a certain thing and that is all you are responsible for! You create life to keep a balance! You are in no position to decide instead of the Grim Reapers who dies! Clearly proven by who you think should! You can't handle that responsibility and wasn't given that responsibility! And they certainly weren't given the job of doing your dirty work for you! For a balance, if Reaper can't kill as many people as he pleases, then you can't step out of line and target people to kill either! That just makes the balance uneasy and all the systems put in for balance useless! Why have lists anymore when you'll just target people!"Ink explains or even spells out to them

"What do you know about balance?"Life dared to ask

All the kids burst out laughing at her mistake.

"That wasn't very wise of you to ask."Gerson says while Asgore facepalms

"Error and I work to keep a balance. I fix AUs, he destroys them. We work together to keep a balance. I stick with my job and he sticks with his. I am not in a position to tell him which to destroy, it's not my job and I understand that. I don't destroy because that is not my job or expertise and would upset the balance. And I certainly don't use him to get the worlds destroyed. Sure, I don't get my way all the time, but I be an ADULT and MOVE ON instead of throwing a temper tantrum and endangering lives like you did or threaten the balance just to get back at someone over a grudge! Balance goes two ways! That's what I know and clearly you forgot that!"Ink snaps at her

Life was stunned.

"Who says I even did it?"She asks

Everyone raises their hands, including the babies.

"YeAh, anD wE hAve aT lEaSt TwO dOzEns oF FrIeNds tHat agReE bAcK hoMe oR iN oThEr AUs. I dOuBt You'd wAnT to MeEt tHem cAuSe TheY kInDa wAnNa KiLl yOu."Error says

"And you agree that you did it too!"Shino says

Then the kids and Papyrus play the recordings on their phones of the argument between Life and Reaper. They emphasized on two lines.

"I did those crimes! I will never get caught!"Life's voice echoes from their phones

"HmMMmm, NoW I aM nOt aN ExPeRt, bUt I aM pReTtY suRe YoU cOnFeSsEd tHeRe anD ThErE aRe pLenTy oF fOlKs tO aRgUe aGaInSt yOu, sO yOu aRe dOoMeD. EnJoY KArmA!"Error says

Gerson and Asgore frown. Error is right. But Ink got to take Life somewhere private to share a few words with Life. They came back with Ink looking happy again and Life looking terrified with a grim look on her face. She was trembling even. Asgore and Gerson took her away to get punished while Gaster met each of us. Ink gives me a check-up to find that I am alright. I sit beside Reaper and he finally started waking up.

"Agh, my head. Geno? What happened? Is Life getting punished?"He asks, sitting up

"You fainted when your dad met the kids. She is in trouble."I reply

"Good......Oh! I remember now. Hmmm...."He says

He puts me in his lap.

"We have some unfinished business, Geno. Now that she's gone, where were we?"He says

"Ah yes, I remember. Reaper, I-!"I begin but get pulled away

"GENO!"Error cheers, hugging me

"Dada!"Pente squeals

Error looks at Pente.

"WhAt?"He says

"Oh! You look like his father! This is Pente, Fallacy's second-born! Well, future second-born if not for the reset. He is the Vampireverse version of Gradient!"Palette says

Error's gaze softens from alarm, full of affection toward the baby. He scoops Pente up out of my arms, cradling him lovingly. A portal opens and Jasper drops in.

"I have a brother?!"He exclaims

"How'd you learn so fast?"Palette asks

"I was in the anti-void watching with Suave and my aunt! One moment!"He says, hopping into another portal

A few moments later he returns with a certificate and a bright smile.

"I will take him under my care now."He says

I smile, seeing how excited he is. I doubt he will let anything happen to his brother.

"What's that?"I ask

"A certificate of guardianship! I can now take him under my care and Father can't legally take him from me! I know how my dad can get and if he doesn't believe this is a child of his, he may send him away! This prevents me from losing him!"Jasper says proudly

Suave and Felicia come through.

"How the heck did you get that? Are you sure you can handle it?"Felicia asks

"Mhm! Poussière let me get cerified! I learned from you and Suave after all! And I will not let my brother down! I want to give him the best life I can give him and raise him like you both are raising me! He's my brother, there's no way I will slack off on caring for him! Plus I won't be on my own!"Jasper explains

The two look at each other, then smile and nod.

"But let's go home before your father gets worried."Felicia says

And with that, they returned to their AU with Pente in Jasper's arms.

Ghastly tugs Error's sleeve.

"Mister Error? Have my parents fallen in love yet?"Ghastly asks, holding his brother in his arms

"WhO aRe YouR pAreNtS?"Error asks

"Well they were Nightmare and Killer before the reset."Ghastly replies

"HmMm, cAn'T dEnY or ConFiRm tHat. wHo arE You aNd The BaBy?"He asks

"Ghastly and this is my brother Magnus! Well, he would've been my future brother!" Ghastly says

"WhO's ThE MoM?"Error asks with a chuckle

This seems to puzzle the child as if Error asked him to solve theoretical physics or something.

"Umm, I'd say Nightmare because he raised me from the age of a babybones to around 4 before Killer even came into the picture. I called them my papas though."He replies

Error goes away to chat with Ghastly while Ink chats with Palette and Goth. I go back to Reaper, who was patiently waiting for me to come back and looked overjoyed. I go to say it again but think of something better.

"I give up, Reaper. I'm not risking it."I say

He looked so saddened by that.

"I'll let you find out yourself. Actions speak louder than words after all."I say

I lean in, kissing him. It feels so nice. So right. My face burns and I keep my eye shut, not wanting to see his face if this is not what he wants. I open my eye to see he is frozen in shock. I try to pull back but his hand slips onto the back of head, holding me in it. He shuts his eyes, kissing back. I give back into the kiss. I feel him lift me up and I hold him gently so I don't drop.

"Brother get down! You're going too high!"His brother says

We break from the kiss and realize what he meant. We were as high as the clouds. Reaper lowers back to the ground, looking happier than ever. He kisses me on the head again.

"Sooo....What is the plan now?"I ask

"We'll keep looking for our friends and try to get some sense of normal again. Who knows where they are in this chaos."Raven says

Cipher appears beside Shino.

"I'll take care of them!"He assures us

"Well...When you are all set and want a place to settle down, you can call and stay with me."I say, giving Raven my phone number

They disappear into a portal, leaving us with Error, Ink and Reaper's brother.

"Okay, how much do you guys wanna bet that two of your sons come back with a boyfriend among that group?"Ink says

"JuSt tWo? I wAs tHinKinG aLl ThrEe."Error says

"Huh?"Papyrus says

"Palette, Blueprint and Radier were giving your nepehews and niece lovestruck gazes."Ink says

"True."Reaper says

We head to Error's anti-void. Then a screen pops up in front of Error.

"SpeAkInG oF kIdS bEfOrE tHe ReSeT, I goTtA gO fInD mY sOn."He says

"You have a son?"Ink asks

"I'm aN UnClE?"E!Pap asks

"AppArEnTlY....He caMe tO mE wHiLe I wAs kNockEd OuT aNd uNlOcKeD mY mEmOriEs. He tRiGgErEd mE To wAkE uP bAsiCaLlY."Error says

"How will you find him?"Reaper asks

"He pRomIsEd To sEnD mE a MeSsAgE iF hE gEts pUt iNto ThE cHaOs aNd JusT SeNt a MeSsAgE tO mE."He says

"I'll alert the others so they don't get worried while you're gone!"Ink says

And with that Ink left and then Error did, so we stayed with E!Pap to hang out. Things may get better now.
