"Goth! Bro! Where are you?"A voice calls

I look around confusedly.

"Raven?"I say

I hear footsteps. Raven comes running to me. He hugs me close.

"Shino's idea worked! I'm so glad! But wow! I'm in your head! This is crazy cool!"He says

"What are you talking about?"I ask

"Right, gotta focus. Goth? Are you okay? Are you hurt? Where are you? What has that big boss done to you? Have they hurt you? Have they posioned you? Have they insulted you? Have they abandoned you somewhere? Have they tested on you? Cause if they did any of the above, I swear to the stars I will tear them to pieces! I will take pleasure in using my scythe on them for anything wrong they did to you!"He says

"I'm....Okay. They did hurt me but Life healed me. Someone pulled me through a portal and knocked me out. I dunno where I am. I haven't even met the boss and I don't know if they've done anything. But someone said they're taking me to them. I dunno about poisoning, insulting or abandoning and testing. I'm knocked out right now so I dunno if they've done any of that. I could try to wake up to see...."I explain

"No! Stay here! I don't know if I will be able to connect to your mind after you check! We're coming! Do not be afraid! We will find you and keep you safe!"He says in a panic

"Okay, thanks, Raven."I say, smiling as he  wraps an arm around me

"It's gonna be okay."He says, placing a hand on my cheek

"It sounds like you need to hear that more than me. It's gonna be okay, Raven."I say as I hold his wrist

"Pfft, try telling your boyfriend that."He chuckles

"What are you talking about?"I ask

He smirks.

"Time for a lil switcheroo."He says

Then he disappears. I pace around, curious and confused. What do I do now?

"Gothy!"A voice cheers lovingly

I turn and see Palette running to me. He scoops me up, twirling me in the air. He lowers me and smiles at me.

"You are okay! Thank goodness!"He says

He chuckles a bit.

"P-Palette, I-"I say

Then, without warning, he kisses me. My soul races and my face burns.

"What was that for, Palette?"I ask

"For your happiness. Love brings happiness after all!"He says

I feel my face burn.

He is so sweet.

I smile at him.

"You're gonna be okay, Gothy."He tells me

"I know...."I say

He sets me back down and smiles even wider at me.

Then I feel a great pain surge through me. I drop to my knees, holding my head.

"AAaagggh!"I groan

"Gothy!"Palette cries, kneeling and hugging me

"P-P-Palette, get, agh, o-out of here!"I tell him, knowing that I'm getting tested on

He disappears. I wake up and find a wire electrocuting me in the skull. It stops when I wake up.

"You are about to start serving the great, majestic, wonderful, powerful Big Boss. Oh, it is such a wonder to be at her mercy."A monster says, almost preaching about the Big Boss as they stand in front of me

They go off on a rant that seemed to last hours.

"Okay, Holly Blue. I get it. Big Boss is cool to you."I say sarcastically, being reminded of a character from Shino's favorite show by their rant

"But, every servant needs to make sacrifices. One for joining and another for unwavering loyalty. It doesn't matter if you join or got taken. You'll also need training. So let's begin."They say, ignoring me

A bunch of wires and syringes jab into me, painfully injecting me with more things then I could comprehend. I scream in pain, getting even louder when they cut me arm off below my shoulder.

I pass out, losing the strength in me to stay awake through this process.

Many hours later

I walk as I was trained to. Left right, left right. Over and over. Shoulders down and back. Head up. Gaze straight ahead. Focus. Stay quiet. Only speak when spoken to. Listen for anyone to call you. See something wrong? Blast it or don't take part in it. Yes, that's right. Blast it. From my robotic arm. Find something unusual? Use your robotic eye and follow identity protocal. Yes, you're hearing me right. Those "sacrifices" were to replace one of my arms and the chunk of my skull by the eye that has no eye-light. And I'm now under heavy influence from training and obeying orders. Anyone who disobeys is never seen again after all, and not in the good escape or getting freed kind of way.

So yes, I am serving the Big Boss. Very reluctantly though. And I have yet to meet this "Big Boss" after all this time.

But I keep moving.

It's dead quiet. 

I wonder how everyone else is doing. I hope they're okay. Especially Geno, Raven, Shino and......Palette. Ah, Palette....

I start to smile and space out, walking as directed with my head in the clouds, thinking about who I care about.

But of course I got busted.

"Focus, G22!"A voice says

I snap out of it. A hand grabs me. I get dragged to another room, where I get "disciplined". Which was really just getting electrocuted until I forgot about my beloved ones that I was distracted thinking about. It really sucks. And they programmed my robotic parts to have more power over me with protocals and such. 

Soon, I am back out in the halls, walking and patrolling.

No more motivation.Just keep moving. Stay obedient. Don't die. I do not smile anymore. I keep my gaze ahead of where I am going. I keep at a steady pace. Nothing more. Nothing less than that. I do not make a sound whatsoever.

But it did make me wonder who this "Big Boss" really is. This mysterious person who is either loved or feared by anyone who serves and knows them. For me, it's fear more than love. How can I love the mastermind who got me taken here and put through this? Or I do not even know? 

I can't.

But I have to keep moving.

I hear footsteps coming to me. Then two arms wrap around me.

"Why hello, Goth! Nice to finally meet you! Now, how about you come with me for a walk to a cafe?"A voice says

I look and see a small child hopping onto my back.

"I need approval by the Big Boss."I say

"You're looking at her!"She says

What? This is the scary boss? She's a child! So small! Almost small enough to be Shino!

"Umm...okay then....."I say

I walk through the halls behind her.

I look into a room and recognize the poor soul inside.

I keep walking, taking note of what I saw.

I walk with her out of her lair. Yes, she calls it a lair. SO I have to as well.

We arrive at a fast food place instead. Oh, I am SO gonna avoid Burger King for a while after this.

"So, you ready for our date?"She asks

I actually got sick from the shock that came from that question. I bent down and threw up.

"Say what now?"I say

"Our date! I guess I forgot to mention that. I want to see how good the people who are friends with the brothers that motivated my dad to leave my mom and I really are. What makes you so special? But I guess I never told you that."She says

"No kidding!"I say

"They are the reason he was in jail instead of Mr. Blue last I heard."She says

I frown.

"So are you in?"She asks

"Sorry, but I am gay and have a boyfriend."I say

"What's his name?"She asks

"Palette."I say, rising to my feet again

"Ah, so you're in love with the enemy. I wonder what part of you will be removed to change that."She says

"Let's just go in."I say with a shake of my head

We go in and she orders some food. Once she had me sit with her, she goes into flirt mode. It got me feeling sick again. Also something starts to act up with my robotic parts.

"I gotta use the restroom."I say

Then I go to it. I go in a stall and puke into a toilet. I've never felt so disgusted in all my life. Reaper would even be disgusted if he heard the things she was saying to flirt. I had flushed it when I feel something going on with my arm. I look and see it changing to allow a screen to open and turn on in the palm of my hand. On the screen is a kid.

"WoAh! GoTh! WhaT hApPenEd tO yOu?!"Gradient asks

"Raven can check hurt and tested off his list of questions. And the big boss just so happens to be the daughter Charles abandoned! And I have to serve her!"I say

"Oh wOw....WhErE aRe yOu rIghT nOw?"He asks

"On a surprise date with her. It's that or she will have more parts of me removed to forget about you guys, Palette or the 'enemies'. I can't talk long, Gradient. Don't know how long it will take for her to realize that skeletons don't need to use bathrooms. But I am not the only one being kept under her so called mercy. Dream is here too, being a labeled punching bag."I say

He is silent.

"We wIlL fInd yOu."He says at last

There is a pound at the door.

"Do I hear Gothy?"A voice says

"I hAcKed aNy tEcH nEar a SOuL mAtCHinG hIs CodE PalEtTe! ThIs iS wHat I gOt!"Gradient responds

"Goth, open up!"Boss demands

"Bruh this is a boy's restroom! No!"I say, wanting to at least see Palette once

"Gothy!"Palette calls

I look and cover my robotic eye with my other hand. He is peeking from behind Gradient.

"Come out here now or I will have your leg replaced! Or some other part of you!"Boss shouts

I sigh.

"I can not talk. I got to go now...."I say

Gradient nods understanding.

"We WiLl GeT yOu."He says

Palette on the other hand gave me a sad, pleading gaze.

"Go-"He begins but Gradient ended this communication

I leave the restroom and get dragged back to the lair before we even finished the food. I got electrocuted for disobeying her, as well as parts of me replaced as she had warned.

She starts using an actual punching bag with a picture of Palette's face taped onto it to train my mind to see him as an enemy. She had me fight it, or else. It hurt my soul every time she had me do this, but I obey. She puts his picture on targets outside and had me do some archery-like practice with blasting the target. I always shut my eyes after aiming, not wanting to even see the picture get blasted. Because I know she is preparing me to one day do that to the real him.

Dream turns out to be her personal punching bag. He unfortunately had to go through the most brutal of attacks, unable to move or defend himself. She would offer for me to join in. I would refuse, it is bad enough she is training me to hurt Palette. That would land me in an electric chair. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!

The not so big boss managed to make my love for Palette as small as an insignificant pebble among the rocks of influence and lies about him being the enemy. But it is still there. And she fails to make me hurt Dream or love her either.

Which is fine by me.

Days pass. Those days became weeks soon enough.

One day, she left me to deal with a riot on the other side of the humongous lair. She left me with Dream. The door shut and locking us in. I look at him. My robotic eye analyzed him at a single glance, then multiple protocals appear. I choose the healing one. I kneel beside him and place my robotic arm on him. It starts to bandage him up automatically, then softly send healing magic into him like a heating pad sends heat into someone. He slowly comes back to consciousness. He wakes up and looks at me confusedly.

"Goth....?"He says

"ℍ𝕖𝕝𝕝𝕠, 𝕄𝕣. 𝔻𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕞....."I say, my voice replaced with a more robotic one

"Oh you poor dear! What have those mean goons do to you?"He asks

I found that amazing. After everything he went through. Every single beating he took. Every punch. Every kick to the head. Every cut. Every bruise. Every knockout. After all that, he has more concern for me. While I just stood by and watched him get hurt.

I cut him free using my robotic arm.

"𝕀 𝕒𝕞 𝕤𝕠 𝕤𝕠𝕣𝕣𝕪!"I cry

"Aww, come here, sweet child."He says

I hug him, crying. He wraps an arm around me. I apologize but he keeps stopping me from that. I explain everything in tears and he comforts me.

I find safety with him. Actual safety.

In those moments, I made a decision.

I am getting the hell out of here with him.

I blast a wall down and take him by the hand. We run as fast as we can, going as far as we could.

We didn't get that far.

NO POV

As Goth said, they did not get far. The boss found out and sent some servants to handle them. They deactivated Goth's fighting abilities. The two were brutally beaten. Dream falls to the ground, then Goth was kicked down. They were both dragged back inside. Dream is left on the floor to slowly die with nothing but his torn clothes and a tarp on him. They didn't kill him, but left him to bleed and for the wounds to kill him. He could still hear them though as he strains to stay awake.

"Let's take this kid apart until there is nothing left of him."One says

The other agrees. He watches as they tie Goth up and then drag him away. They link eyes and Dream could see the fear in his eyes.

Hours pass. 

Palette quickly marches ahead of Shino, Gradient, Radier, and Cross. They search through the lair from a hole in the wall they found, taking down any servant that attacked them. Palette notices a tarp that was definitely out of place having a lump under it and a pool of blood leaking out from it. He quickly moves toward it and pulls it away, fearing who he might find. He gasps when he finds Dream and his condition.

Dream looks up at him.

"Father! Guys over here! Mr. Cross! I found Father!"Palette exclaims

"Dreamy!"Cross shouts

Dream weakly taps the floor and an arrow strikes from the ground, striking a servant that was sneaking up behind Palette. 

"You gotta be careful......G-Goth is......"Dream says weakly

But he was too weak to get the words out. But then he senses something. Goth loses his hope, all he could feel is pain. And it is very noticeable for Dream to sense a loss of hope. He quickly pinpoints where Goth is.

"You're gonna be okay! We got you now! No need to worry!"Palette says, throwing the tarp away and hugging Dream gently

"I know.....So worry about Goth........He has gone through enough, don't you think? H-He needs help.....No hope.....A-Arrows."He says, struggling to speak

Then he taps the ground and a trail of arrows strike up from the ground. He also made sure to make an arrow cage around Goth for his safety-kinda like a bone cage. That took up the last of his energy and magic so once that was done, he shut his eyes and his body went limp in Palette's hold.

Palette starts trying to heal Dream the most he could. There are so many wounds on him. Cross comes over and takes Dream from him.

"Go help your Gothy. I'll handle Dream."He says

Palette looks at him and nods. He runs along the trail of arrow spikes, ending up at a room. He kicks the door open and find two servants got an arrow striking from the ground into their chest and he watched them dust.

"Hail the merciful and great Big Boss......"One says before turning to dust

Sure, merciful. There's nothing merciful about this Big Boss that Palette has seen.

He steps into to the room and sees this weird chair. It had wires and a weird helmet attatched for the head and body, kinda like a hair dryer at a hair salon that you sit at, only this wasn't for drying hair. There were also handcuffs on both armrests and the legs of the chair, as if to lock someone into it. This chair was covered in fresh blood on the armrests and where someone would lean their back against it. He did not have a good feeling about this.

This is an electric chair.

Someone was in it.

He knows it.

But where is his Gothy?

Back to Goth's POV

I see someone new enter the room. I shift uneasily at the sight of them. I  am glad that Dream caged me with arrows, this protects me. The new guy walks to the electric chair and examines it curiously. He begins to look around as well. Perhaps Boss ordered for more. He starts to get closer to the cage.

"ℙ𝕝𝕖𝕒𝕤𝕖.....ℕ𝕠 𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖.......ℕ𝕠 𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖. 𝕀 𝕨𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕠𝕓𝕖𝕪! 𝕁𝕦𝕤𝕥 𝕟𝕠 𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖!"I plea

He looks at me, then steps back in shock. Then he steps closer.

I didn't know what to do, I can only see through my robotic eye now. 

He places a hand on the arrows gently, not saying a word.

The arrow cage fades away.

"𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕪 𝕒𝕨𝕒𝕪! 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕪 𝕓𝕒𝕔𝕜! ℙ𝕝𝕖𝕒𝕤𝕖! 𝔻𝕠𝕟'𝕥 𝕙𝕦𝕣𝕥 𝕞𝕖! ℕ𝕠 𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖! 𝕀'𝕝𝕝 𝕠𝕓𝕖𝕪 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝔹𝕚𝕘 𝔹𝕠𝕤𝕤! 𝕁𝕦𝕤𝕥 𝕟𝕠 𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖!"I cry

I was certain he was gonna put me back in that chair. He reaches to me.

And does not do that.

Instead, he cuts me free of the ropes on me. I feel my wounded arm gently, the wrist sore from being bound by the rope to my metal arm. I rise to my feet, one also made of metal now. This servant must be really stupid to free me. I tap my arm twice and it prepares a blaster like Iron Man's. I point it at this guy.

"𝔽𝕣𝕖𝕖𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕞𝕖 𝕨𝕒𝕤 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕪 𝕤𝕥𝕦𝕡𝕚𝕕. 𝕊𝕠 𝕀 𝕨𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕓𝕖 𝕠𝕟 𝕞𝕪 𝕨𝕒𝕪 𝕟𝕠𝕨. 𝔾𝕠𝕠𝕕 𝕝𝕦𝕔𝕜 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕓𝕠𝕤𝕤 𝕨𝕙𝕖𝕟 𝕤𝕙𝕖 𝕗𝕚𝕟𝕕𝕤 𝕠𝕦𝕥."I say

He does not say anything.

I carefully step with a limp past him to the door. I keep my arm aimed at him, scared of what he may do if I don't. But then I think something else. He freed me.....He saved me......Maybe he isn't bad, whoever he is. I lower my hand.

"𝔹𝕦𝕥....𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕜 𝕪𝕠𝕦."I say, then limp away

I get down the hall a bit.

"Wait!"The guy finally says, grabbing my hand.

I look at him. I lift my other hand, recognizing him.

"𝕆𝕜𝕒𝕪, 𝕟𝕠𝕨 𝕀 𝕙𝕒𝕧𝕖 𝕢𝕦𝕖𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕤. 𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕚𝕤 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕞𝕪 𝕕𝕠𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕖? 𝔸𝕟𝕕 𝕨𝕙𝕪 𝕨𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕞𝕪 𝕗𝕣𝕖𝕖 𝕞𝕖? 𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕕𝕠 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕨𝕒𝕟𝕥 𝕗𝕣𝕠𝕞 𝕞𝕖?"I ask, aiming the blaster at him again

"Don't you recognize me?"He asks

"𝕐𝕖𝕒𝕙 𝕀 𝕕𝕠, 𝕪𝕠𝕦'𝕣𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝔹𝕚𝕘 𝔹𝕠𝕤𝕤' 𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕞𝕪."I say, tearing my hand free

He doesn't answer my questions. He just stands there quietly, looking shocked.

"Goth!"A voice shouts

One I recognize as good.

"𝕊𝕚𝕤? 𝕊𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕠?"I say

I turn and see my sister running to me. I go to my knees and open my arms to her, having the blaster turn off. She runs to me and hugs me.

"Brother! Goth! I am so glad you're okay! I was so worried!"She cries

"ℍ𝕠𝕨 𝕒𝕣𝕖 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕖?"I ask

"Oh! Radier and I wouldn't let them leave until they let us come!"She says proudly

I smile. She was always so stubborn.

"But nobody was as restless to find you as your boyfriend here!"She says

I look at her confusedly.

"Right behind you!"She says

I turn and there is the guy. 

"Palette, remember?"She says

Target: Palette. Analyzing

I start to get info that was just what Boss told me. But then Palette speaks, in tears.

"Gothy...."He whimpers

Remember that pebble? The one in my head for Palette?

Yeah, that pebble grows to a boulder, crushing the other rocks of lies.

All this other data pops up but I blink, tucking it away in my mind.

"ℙ𝕒𝕝𝕖𝕥𝕥𝕖......."I say

Conclusion:Nearly blasted your own boyfriend.

He steps closer. A bunch of protocals appear. I choose one. I put Shino beside Palette, rising to my feet again. Then I run off quickly. I run down the steps and through the maze of halls. I spot Mr. Cross holding Mr. Dream, who laid unconscious in his arms. I stop in front of me. Mr. Cross actually steps back with a frightened expression. I gently touch Mr. Dream's foreskull. I start a short protocal, sending healing magic and code into him. A few moments pass and he slowly starts to wake up. He looks at me and smiles.

"Good kid, you are....Goth."He says, reaching out and gently feeling my cheek

Mr. Cross looks at me in surprise and sorrow when he says this.

"𝔸𝕟𝕪𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕥𝕠 𝕙𝕖𝕝𝕡. 𝕀 𝕘𝕠𝕥𝕥𝕒 𝕘𝕠 𝕟𝕠𝕨, 𝕓𝕪𝕖."I say

"No you don't."Mr. Dream says

"𝔽𝕠𝕣 𝕒𝕝𝕝 𝕠𝕗 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕥𝕠 𝕓𝕖 𝕡𝕣𝕠𝕥𝕖𝕔𝕥𝕖𝕕 𝕀 𝕕𝕠..."I reason

Then I leave them there. I run through the maze of halls again and reach an exit. But then a tentacle grabs me.

"Not so fast, my friend."A voice says

I look at the tentacle and struggle to free myself.

Analyzing.....

"Now Gradient!"The voice says

I feel a hand grip the side of my head. It covers my eye and I feel my code getting changed. The tentacle releases me. I weakly drop to my knees, adapting to my new code in my robot parts.

"YoU ArE fReE nOw, My FrIeNd."Gradient says 

I glance at him and smile. I stand up and hear a voice calling me.

"Gothy! Gothy! Gothy please! Where are you? Gothy!"The voice calls

"In here, Palette!"Radier shouts

I hear quick footsteps and Palette runs in with Shino following. Palette is in tears. He comes over to me.

"Gothy.....Please don't go. I don't care about anything that they did to you that makes you think you have to leave to protect us. I care about what they did to you. They hurt you. And I want to help you. Keep you safe. I love you, Gothy. Please don't go."He says

I look at him. I look at my hand.

The training nearly worked.....

He places a hand on my chin, lifting it until I was looking at him again.

"Please, Gothy."He says

I start to feel weird. 

Soul beat malfunction! Face temp malfunction! Mood malfunction!

"𝕐𝕠𝕦....𝕨𝕒𝕟𝕥 𝕞𝕖 𝕥𝕠 𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕖 𝕙𝕠𝕞𝕖?"I ask

He nods.

Palette is still crying. Cause:Sadness. OBJECTIVE:Make him happy! Searching for solutions......

He bandages me and holds my robotic hand. 

Solution found.

I smile. I lean in and kiss him. As I do so, I reach up and wipe his tears, then lower my hand when I am done.

I pull back, then open my eye again.

Objective achieved.

"Gothy!"He exclaims

"𝔻𝕚𝕕 𝕀 𝕕𝕠 𝕤𝕠𝕞𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕨𝕣𝕠𝕟𝕘?"I ask

"That was very sudden!"He tells me

"𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕨𝕒𝕤 𝕝𝕠𝕧𝕖. 𝕐𝕠𝕦 𝕨𝕖𝕣𝕖 𝕔𝕣𝕪𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕤𝕒𝕕, 𝕤𝕠 𝕀 𝕨𝕒𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕕 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕥𝕠 𝕓𝕖 𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕡𝕪. 𝕀𝕤𝕟'𝕥 𝕝𝕠𝕧𝕖 𝕤𝕠𝕞𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕥𝕠 𝕓𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕡𝕚𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤?"I say, confused by these concepts that I have forgotten

His face burns up. He falls down and Gradient checks on him. 

"He.....used my own words against me."He says

I stand there, confused and concerned for him. Shino smiles, Radier standing close to her in a protective hug. Gradient then starts to curiously examine the room. Palette hugs me.

"So this means you're coming back?"He asks

I nod.

"𝔹𝕦𝕥 𝕨𝕖 𝕤𝕙𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕪 𝕝𝕖𝕒𝕧𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕣𝕠𝕠𝕞. 𝕀𝕥'𝕤 𝕥𝕙𝕖.....ℝ𝕠𝕓𝕠𝕥𝕚𝕔𝕤 𝕣𝕠𝕠𝕞."I say

"Is this where they....?"He begins

I nod.

I see the lights turn on. Then I hear machines start up. I look around and see the boss at the power switch.

"ℕ𝕠!"I snap at her

She grins and shuts the door. I hold Palette close to me protectively. Radier pulls Shino close. I tear my hand from Palette's grip and extend it to grab Radier and pull them over to protect them. Radier uses his tentacles to form a shield around us from one side as arms drop down from the ceiling and swing at us, trying to grab us.

She can take as many parts of me as she wants, but nothing will mess with the part of me that loves them. Nothing will mess with my soul.

I look around to try and get Gradient to safety, but I don't see him anywhere. I hear a glitched scream from one of the chambers. I reach to the switch, much farther than a normal arm could go, and turn it off. Now the scream was really an echo into the room from the halls. 

"Everyone okay?"Palette asks

"Let's go kick that mean boss' butt!"Shino says

"You can take that as a yes."Radier says

I blast the door down and follow the scream. My friends follow close behind me. Palette holds my hand. I kick the door down, my blaster already prepared to fire in my hand. I see Gradient with his back against the wall, a knife being held to his neck by the boss.

"𝕃𝕖𝕥 𝕙𝕚𝕞 𝕘𝕠!"I snap

The boss looks at me in surprise, as if not expecting to be found. I glare at her.

"Aww come on, Gothy. You know this is for the best. We gotta get rid of the enemy."She says, having a drone hold the knife at Gradient's neck while she walks toward me

Weaponless.

"Ahem, I'm the only one allowed to call him Gothy."Palette says

She gives him one glance, then snaps her fingers. The drones swoop in and take Palette away.

"ℙ𝕒𝕝𝕖𝕥𝕥𝕖!"I shout

"Oh just let him go. He will be back soon enough."She says

I look at Radier and signal him to go with Shino.

"Let's go find Mr. Cross and Mr. Dream, Shino."Radier whispers

"Ya, you do that. I'm gonna stop those stupid drones from hurting Palette!"Shino says, then runs off

Radier sighs, then sneaks off as well.

I look at this lunatic as she shuts the door. She grabs my neck.

"𝔹𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕙𝕚𝕞 𝕓𝕒𝕔𝕜 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕝𝕖𝕥 𝕞𝕪 𝕗𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕕 𝕘𝕠 𝕣𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥 𝕟𝕠𝕨 𝕠𝕣 𝕀 𝕨𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕓𝕝𝕒𝕤𝕥 𝕪𝕠𝕦."I say

"Oh, you wouldn't dare."She says, then kisses me

I shove her away.

"𝔽𝕠𝕣 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕝𝕒𝕤𝕥 𝕥𝕚𝕞𝕖, 𝕀 𝔸𝕄 𝔾𝔸𝕐 𝔸ℕ𝔻 ℍ𝔸𝕍𝔼 𝔸 𝔹𝕆𝕐𝔽ℝ𝕀𝔼ℕ𝔻! ℕ𝕠𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕕𝕠 𝕨𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕔𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕘𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥. 𝔻𝕠𝕟'𝕥 𝕥𝕖𝕤𝕥 𝕞𝕖."I growl, pointing my hand at her

Ready to blast in three seconds.

"Okay! Got it!"She says, clapping twice

The drones free Gradient.

"But it's too late for that other guy."She says

I blast her into the wall.

"𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕒𝕣𝕖 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕙𝕒𝕧𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕕𝕠𝕟𝕖 𝕥𝕠 𝕙𝕚𝕞?"I ask

"Let's just say he won't have eyes for you or anyone once it's done. I saw how he was looking at you. That will be the last time he ever looked at anything, Gothy.~"She says

I punch her, and the fact that I used my metal arm added more damaging force to the punch.

"𝕊𝕙𝕦𝕥 𝕚𝕥! 𝕃𝕖𝕥'𝕤 𝕘𝕠, 𝔾𝕣𝕒𝕕𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕥!"I say, grabbing Gradient's hand and leaving her there

We head through the halls. Shino runs to me.

"Brother! Brother! Good news! Good news!"She says, hopping up and down

I look at her, giving her my full attention.

"Palette was getting torn apart by the robotics room but Radier and I recoded it before it got so serious! He is okay! He just has some cuts on him that got bandaged!"She explains

I smile.

"Come on over, Palette! Help him, Radier!"Shino says, full of joy

Radier comes over, leading Palette by the hand. Palette had a hand over his eyes.

"EvErYtHinG oKay, BuD?"Gradient asks

He nods, not speaking and his hand not letting any hint of his eyes get seen.

"There was some.....robotics that had to be put in to fix him."Radier says

I step closer to him.

"Come on, Palette! Don't be shy! It's ok!"Shino says

"Ꭵ ᎴᎧ ᏁᎧᏖ ᏇᏗᏁᏖ ᎶᎧᏖᏂᎩ ᏖᎧ ᏰᏋ ᏬᎮᏕᏋᏖ."He says, sounding robotic

I frown.

Shino hops up and yanks his hand down. Palette looks at me.

"WoAh, hE lOoKs lIkE cYcLoPs fRom X-MeN."Gradient says

"That's a good thing, right?"Radier asks

"Right!"Shino says

A loading sign appears on the screen of metal that is replacing Palette's eyes. It finishes and a single heart appears, green but radiating yellow. His face burns up a bit. He holds his arm nervously.

"H♥H♥e♥y♥ G♥G♥G♥o♥t♥h♥y♥."He says nervously

I smile at him. I reach to him to hold his hand.

Clank!

I look at my hand. It's being held by another metal hand. His. I look at him. He pulls me closer. He wraps his arms around me, making me unable to leave.

"ᏋᏉᏋᏒᎩᏖᏂᎥᏁᎶ ᎥᏕ ᎧᏦᏗᎩ, ᎶᎧᏖᏂᎩ. Ꭵ ᎶᎧᏖ ᎩᎧᏬ."He says

Then he leans in and kisses me.

WARNING! Face temp malfunction! WARNING! Soul beat malfunction! May cause partial or complete shutdown!

I feel my face burning and soul racing while pounding. His heart disappears and the word CUTE is shown. My face burns even more. He smiles and scoops me up in his arms.

"ᎩᎧᏬ ፈᏗᏁ'Ꮦ ᎷᎧᏉᏋ ፈᏗᏁ ᎩᎧᏬ?"He says

I try to move but fail.

"𝕀 𝕔𝕒𝕟'𝕥 𝕞𝕠𝕧𝕖...."I say

"ᎳᎬᏞᏞ Ꭵ ᎶᎾᏆ ᎽᎾu sᎾ ᎠᎾᏁ'Ꮖ ᎽᎾu ᎳᎾᏒᏒᎽ."He says, his screen replicating his eyes

Radier looks at us. Then he looks at Shino. He picks Shino up.

"Why are you picking me up, Radier?"She asks

"I want to show love like they do."He replies

She smiles.

"Okie dokie."She says

Gradient watches with a smile. But then he too got held in someone's arms.

"GaH!"He yelps when he got lifted from the ground 

"Relax, Gradient. It's just me."Bluescreen says, holding him bridal style

"WhAt ArE yOu dOinG hErE?"Gradient asks

"To make sure you're okay."He says

"HoW'd yOu kNoW I wAs hErE?"Gradient asks

"PJ snitched on you."He says

Gradient mutters something quietly. But he looks at Bluescreen, who smiles at him and got him to blush. Bluescreen then looks at us.

"Okay....Radier and Shino, nothing new between you both. Goth and Palette though.....What the heck happened?"He asks

"𝕀𝕥'𝕤 𝕒 𝕤𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕝𝕒𝕥𝕖𝕣. 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝔹𝕚𝕘 𝔹𝕠𝕤𝕤 𝕞𝕒𝕪 𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕖 𝕤𝕠𝕠𝕟."I say

Palette nuzzles his head against mine, kissing my cheek.

Close to complete shutdown!

Palette leads everyone away, carrying me in his arms.

Regenerating what has been shut down.

He gazes at me as we go. No longer having physical eyes, he can see many things at once. One little dot was at me while another was ahead. I smile. The dot looking at me becomes a heart again.

"Palette!"Cross exclaims

We all approach Cross as he helps Dream walk

"What happened?!"Cross asks

"ExPlaIn lAtEr. RiGhT nOw, wE gOtTa gEt oUt."Gradient says

Cross nods.

"This way."Dream says, then coughs a bit

We follow him and Cross to the room where I blew a hole in the wall.

"What happened here anyway?"Cross asks

"Goth blew a hole here to try and get us to escape."Dream says

Cross looks at me and smiles a grateful smile. Palette sets me down and he helps Cross handle the sevrants coming to attack us outside or up ahead. I go to the back of the bunch, backing up and holding my sister's hand to protect them from any smart goons who try to attack from behind. I blast any of them away.

"Wow, how pathetic. I trained them so hard and well too. Well, I guess if you want something done right, you do it yourself!"I hear a voice snap

"Did I just hear a real life Holly Blue? Oh no...."Shino says

A rope wraps around my arm before I could blast and rips it off. Then the rope wraps around me and yanks me away.

"Goth!"Shino exclaims

Holly Blue the Goon slams the door shut as they run and try to deal with the attackers up ahead. This goon carries me away and puts me in a chair, where I got locked into it. 

"Face it, Gothy. You're never getting out of here. Not with them at least. You're all mine."The Big Boss says, bending over and putting a hand to my chin

I look to my torn arm and see nothing but wires, giving off sparks of electricity. I look at her.

"I'm Heather by the way."She says

I frown. But then there's a pound at the door.

"Who is it?"She asks

Boom!

The door got blasted open, knocking her aside.

"huh, ᏁᎾbᎾᎠᎽ Ꭵs hᎬᏒᎬ. Ꭵ'ᏞᏞ jusᏆ ᏆᎪᏦᎬ mᎽ ᎶᎾᏆhᎽ ᎪᏁᎠ bᎬ ᎾᏁ mᎽ ᎳᎪᎽ."Palette says, breaking me out of the chair

He has this smirk that says he knows what he did and does not care. He takes me by the hand and leads me out.

"Not so fast! He is going nowhere with you!"Heather says

She reaches to grab me, but grabs my wires and gets electrocuted.

"𝔸𝕔𝕥𝕦𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕪, 𝕀 𝕒𝕞. 𝕊𝕠 𝕝𝕠𝕟𝕘."I say

We walk out and the Holly Blue lady blocks our way.

"How dare you defy the great, majestic, wonderful, powerful, merciful Big Boss! You will be killed for this treason! I wi-!"She declares

Palette simply raises his robotic arm, ready to blast.

"suᏒᎬ, mᎬᏒᏟᎥfuᏞ. ᏁᎾᎳ, ᎠᎾ Ꭵ hᎪᏉᎬ ᏆᎾ bᏞᎪsᏆ ᎽᎾu Ꭺs ᎳᎬᏞᏞ ᎾᏒ ᎳhᎪᏆ, ᎽᎾu ᎪᏞᏞ ᏆᎪᏞᏦ ᎪᏁᎠ ᏁᎾ bᎥᏆᎬ ᏞᎪᎠᎽ?"He says

Her face goes pale. And I could tell since she was no skeleton. 

"No, no, go right ahead."She says

Palette looks at her, smiles, but then her expression got this offended expression by something she saw on his screen for eyes.

(The screen showed her a middle finger-Palette:I saw Mr. Edge do it to someone and he says it is a rude way of saying Aloha, which can be used for hello or goodbye, so it fits this situation.)

I look at him and his screen changed to a heart before I could see what was shown to her. Eh, I don't care. She could be a weirdo offended by a heart for all I care. We walk out without any other problems. We regroup with the others and go through a portal home. We walk into the house and quickly we get split up among our friends and family.

Geno, Reaper and Raven hug my sister and I. Shino stops them, then uses some rubber bands to wrap my wires up for safety. Then they hug us. Geno tries, and fails, to discipline Shino and Radier for going by telling them what could've gone wrong.

"But nothing did."Shino replies

"I don't think they would've let anything happen to each other, anyway."Raven says

The kids were all curious about Palette's new appearance, but Dream made it clear not to get too touchy. Mr. Allsun and Killer hug Palette, glad he is back. Then they hug us. Bluescreen starts getting a similar lecture from Blue and his brothers. Gradient takes PJ off to have a private talk about telling his beloved ones like Bluescreen for example when he goes to help others in trouble which could put them in danger. Basically a DO NOT SNITCH ON ME TO MY CRUSH talk. Palette told Mr. Edge something that made him get a private talk as well. I smile.

Then they have Dream and I sit down to explain what happened. Cross holds Dream's hand with Mr. Allsun holding the other. Palette holds me in his lap, a new badge pinned to his shirt.

(Edge:Ididn't know if I should be fucking proud or angry. So I gave him a badge and told him to only use that for the enemies.)

Dream explains what he knows, then let me tell my side of the story. Palette kisses me on the cheek when I finish. Palette tells his part too, giving a good view on what happened.

The adults and other kids process this.

"Alright, how about you all just go to bed and sleep."Geno says

Searching for bed.....No knowledge found. Searching for sleep.....no results.

"𝕊𝕝𝕖𝕖𝕡? 𝔹𝕖𝕕? 𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥'𝕤 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥? 𝕀𝕤 𝕚𝕥 𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖 𝕤𝕙𝕦𝕥𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕕𝕠𝕨𝕟 𝕠𝕟 𝕒 𝕨𝕒𝕝𝕝?"I ask

"ᏁᎾ, ᎶᎾᏆhᎽ...Ꭺ bᎬᎠ Ꭵs sᎾmᎬᏆhᎥᏁᎶ ᎽᎾu ᏒᎬsᏆ ᎥᏁ. sᏞᎬᎬᏢ Ꭵs ᏒᎬsᏆᎥᏁᎶ fᎾᏒ ᎬᏁᎬᏒᎶᎽ."Palette says

"Oh dear....We have a lot to show you again, don't we?"Geno says

"ᏟᎾmᎬ ᎾᏁ, ᎶᎾᏆhᎽ. Ꭵ ᎳᎥᏞᏞ hᎬᏞᏢ ᎽᎾu ᏒᎬᎪᎠjusᏆ."Palette says, carrying me away

He places me in a rectangle with smaller rectangles. I smile and he lays down, putting me beside him. He has me shut my eye. But it doesn't last. I stay awake and think. I need to prevent future incidents. I look at Palette. He seems to be "asleep". The screen had Z's repeatedly pop up and fade. I think. How did things get like this? 

Oh right, the mailbox.

 I went to get the mail while going for a stroll, unaware of Geno's disappearence yet. I opened an envelope addressed to me and it shot out this weird powder, next thing I know I was out and woke up to be electrocuted until I passed out repeatedly. That mailbox needs security. The security needs to be on all mailboxes. I get out of this "bed" and go to the basement. I find a bunch of materials. I get to work, knowing how to use the tools due to my training. I finish my creation and test it. I slip an envelope with nothing in it to worry about. No alarm. I send one with salt through, an alarm goes off. I turn the alarm off and start making copies of this one. I construct it until there are plenty for each house. I put them in a wagon and pull it up the basement ramp. I peek out the door and attatch the invention to the mailbox. I go through the tunnels and do the same to each mailbox. Then I lay on the couch and think.

The next morning, I open my eyes to quick footsteps. I look around. Geno looks at me.

"Hey, Goth. I found this weird thing on the mailbox."He says

I get up and he shows it to me.

"𝕆𝕙, 𝕀 𝕞𝕒𝕕𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕤𝕖 𝕥𝕠 𝕞𝕒𝕜𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕞𝕒𝕚𝕝𝕓𝕠𝕩𝕖𝕤 𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 𝕤𝕖𝕔𝕦𝕣𝕖. 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕪 𝕨𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕘𝕠 𝕠𝕗𝕗 𝕚𝕗 𝕤𝕠𝕞𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕚𝕤 𝕚𝕟 𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕤𝕙𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕𝕟'𝕥 𝕓𝕖."I say

"Clever....But did you get any sleep last night?"He asks

"𝕀 𝕔𝕒𝕟'𝕥 𝕗𝕚𝕘𝕦𝕣𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕊𝕃𝔼𝔼ℙ 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕠𝕦𝕥."I say

"Let me test something, if you don't mind."He says

I give a thumbs up. He takes a spare wire from an outlet and plugs it into my skull. I start to close my eyes.

Recharging.....Sleep mode engaged.

Some weeks pass

I have been relearning the usual things and I smile a bit. I now keep a wire beside my bed, it being the only way I know to sleep. I have been doing the chores I usually do. I feel happy now and Palette has always checked on me. Either that or my parents or siblings. But one night, I started waking up from sleep mode when the wire was yanked out of my skull. I wake up, looking around.

"Congrats, kid. You have a new purpose."A voice says

Then a hand presses a button on the back of my head, making me shut down.

No POV

Geno walks in on one of his rounds. He finds the window broken, shards of glass on the floor. A note lays on the bed. He picks it up.

It says GOT HIM! Want him back, Geno? Let's talk. -Cipher

It only took a few moments for him to make his choice. He checks the back and it gives a location. He sighs. He is in so much trouble with Reaper when he gets back. Shino is SO putting him in the naughty corner. He gets some papers and writes quick notes. He leaves one with Palette, one with Reaper, another with Shino and one with Raven. Then he leaves the house without a word. He will protect his child.
