It was 2005 maybe a couple weeks after I had been diagnosed with. ALL, leukemia. it was probably mid afternoon when I looked over at my mother and said I'm hungry. but because I was so sick they wouldn't let me eat. all I could think about was food, food, food. SoI sat their for hours and hours on end watching tv as it tortured me with it's every food commercial. Until finally I couldn't take it anymore I begged and begged for food and about how "That's all I want nothing else I swear". I would say and my mom would look at me and say that she was so sorry. Sometimes she would cry with me. Until we just both cried ourselves to sleep. But the one thing I remember her doing that always made me feel better was that she would sing for her little sunshine. (that's me by the way her little sunshine).......
