The exsaughsted Shadowhunters and Warlock walked straight into the Institute and towards the kitchen. They smell food. " You guys smell that?"says Alec.

" Yeah it smells good which must mean Isabelle isn't cooking." Says Jace.

The three of them laughed as they walked into the kitchen. " Don't you guys think we should have followed then?" Says Isabelle

" Possibly, but I'm pretty sure they can handle themselves." Says Clary.

" Well a little help would have been nice." Says Magnus.

They looked over and saw magnus leaning up against the wall with his arms crossed, smiling at them. " GUYS YOUR BACK!!" Yelled Isabelle. She ran forward and tackled Alec in a huge hug. Clary smiled and hugged Jace. Magnus walked up to Tessa Gray, and Catarina Loss who were still at the Institute.

Magnus hugged Tessa and Catarina. Isabelle sat them down while Clary passed out the food. She then sat down. " Ok explain, tell us everything that happened." Says Isabelle.

They then told her everything. By the time they were done Isabelle was smiling. " Serves him right for what he did." Says Isabelle.

The others laughed. They were done eating. Then Isabelle slammed her hands on the table. " Cone on guys, this calls for celebration." Says Isabelle.

" Ok then what should we do?" Says Magnus.

" We'll got to Java Jones. It's karaoke night." Says Isabelle.

Alec groaned. " Really do I have to go?"says Alec. They all stood up.

" Yes and your singing." Says Isabelle.

Alec sighed. " Fine." Says Alec smiling.

They got dressed and soon were at Java Jones watching as Clary was up there singing Better Then Revenge by Taylor Swift.

" So Alec, what song are you going to sing?" Says Isabelle.

Alec looked at her and smiled. " What do you suggest?" Asked Alec.

Magnus gasped next to them. They looked over. " Oh oh I have the perfect song for you to sing." Says Magnus.

" Ok what?" Asked Alec.

" Fight song by Rachel Platten." Says Magnus grinning widely.

Alec laughed. " Ok then, I'll sing that." Says Alec.

Magnus was literally bouncing up and down in his chair. " YAY!!" Yelled Magnus.

Isabelle and Alec burst out laughing. Finally Clary was done and it was Alec's turn. He took the mic and walked up to the stage. Then the music started.

As he finished singing everyone started cheering. Alec set the mic down and walked back over to his table. " Well that was fun." Says Alec.

They spent the rest of the night singing, talking, and hanging out, enjoying the break they truly deserved.
