( Meanwhile back with Alec.)

Alec didn't know how long he sat there in the dark before he came back. Evan. The rude, evil, and cruel person. Alec still had no idea why Evan wants to use Jace to get to him. It made no sense.

But he hoped Evan explained things soon instead of hurting them. He wanted to know if Jace was ok. He hadn't heard a word, scream, or yell from him since they took him away. His Parabatai rune on his shoulder was still intact which ment Jace was still alive, and for that Alec was grateful.

Alec just hoped he was ok. He was now geting bored. He had been there for hours now. Then after about one more hour Evan showed up. " Hello Alexander." Says Evan.

Alec glared daggers at Evan. " It's Alec to you." Spat Alec standing up. Evan opened the cell and walked in. 

Evan smiled and sat down by the wall and patted the floor. " Sit I know you have questions so ask away." Says Evan.

Alec did have questions but he was also confused as to why he was able to ask them. Alec slowly sat down, but before he could speak Evan said something. " Don't ask about Jace. He fine. You would know if he wasn't." 

Alec nodded feeling slightly relieved. " Ok then what do you want with me?" Says Alec.

" I want to get you to do something for me and in order for you to do that I have to use Jace." Says Evan.

" That still didn't answer my question." Says Alec.

Evan sighed. " Fine I want Magnus Bane. But what I'm asking for is his help. What I want to do requires two Warlocks, not one. So what I need is for you to go to the Institute and get Magnus to agree any way possible. I've already left a note saying you two would be killed by tomorrow and that will be true if I don't get what I want from him. I also  left a spell on the sword that was holding it to the wall for Magnus to show him what I'm capable of." Says Evan.

Alec was horrified. " You hurt Magnus?" Says Alec.

Evan nodded. " A little bit." Says Evan. He said it like it ment nothing, but it ment more then that.

" What do you want Magnus to do?" Asked Alec.

" You'll find out soon when I send you to talk to him." Says Evan.

Alec said nothing else, mostly cause he had nothing to say. Evan smiled and stood up. " Well if your not going to ask me any more questions I best be on my way, there's work to do." Says Evan. He then turned and started for the door.

" Wait." Says Alec. Evan turned back around. Alec was standing again looking at Evan. He had said wait before he could stop himself.

" So you do have one more question." Says Evan. He said it like he ment it. It wasn't a question.

Alec nodded. " Yes I have one more question." Says Alec.

Evan turned to face him fully, the creepy smile still on his face. " Ok then spit it out." Says Evan. Alec could tell he was growing impatient.

" Why did you attack me a few months ago? I mean what was the point of it?" Says Alec.

" Oh two questions. I thought you were only going to ask one?" Says Evan.

" Just answer the freakin' question." Snapped Alec.

Evan put his hands behind his back and took a few steps towards Alec, causing Alec to take a step back. " To send a message." Says Evan.

" To send us a message?" Says Alec. He was now very confused.

" To let you and your friends know what I can do  without magic." He stepped even closer towards Alec. " To show you I'm just as deadly either way."

Alec didn't ask or say anything else. Evan smiled again and backed up. " See you soon Alexander." Says Evan as he turned and walked away locking the door tk the cell behind him, leaving Alec to his thoughts and haunting silence.

( Meanwhile back at the Institute.)

" Magnus, what are you doing?" Says Isabelle. Magnus was rushing towards the rooms. 

" I going to Jace's room to get something  of his to track." Says Magnus. 

" What about Alec?" Says Isabelle.

" I don't need to get his stuff to track him. I found this in the library while we were there." Says Magnus showing Isabelle one of Alec's arrows.

Isabelle nodded. " Do you know where Jace's room is?" Asked Isabelle.

Magnus shook his head. " No, I just assumed it would be around Alec's." Says Magnus.

Isabelle nodded and continued to follow him till they got to the hall where Alec's room was. Then she got in front of him and lead him towards Jace's room.

They soon turned and walked in. Isabelle walked towards Jace's bed and grabed one of his daggers he kept by his bed. She turned and handed it to Magnus. " Here, he keeps this by his bed." Says Isabelle.

Magnus nodded and took it. He then took off with Isabelle right behind him back towards the library. As soon as they got there he set the items on the desk, grabed Alec's arrow and started a tracing spell.

Isabelle was nervous, she wanted to know if they were ok. Alec and Jace ment a lot to her, we they ment a lot to everyone. She looked over and saw that Clary Simon looked just as nervous as she felt.

Magnus sighed. " I can't track him, let me try Jace's dagger." Says Magnus. They nodded and handed him the dagger and he started a tracking spell on it.

After a while he sighed. " I can't tell exactly where they are. All I know is there somewhere in Brooklyn." Says Magnus.

" Then what are we waiting for? Let's start searching." Says Isabelle.

She was eager to go searching for them, everyone could tell that. " We will but the guy who took them is very dangerous, we can't just rush into every building we see. We will go to Brooklyn and I will try the tracking spell again to see if I can pin point exactly where they are." Says Magnus.

They nodded. " Ok, let's just hurry up." Says Isabelle.

Clary stepped forward. " Don't rush these things Izzy. If we just barge into a building we may put their life's in more danger then they already are." says Clary.

Simon nodded. Isabelle sighed. " Fine, I guess your right." Says Isabelle.

Magnus stood up and looked at all of them. " Well let's get ready and start for Brooklyn. We have work to do." Says Magnus.

They all nodded and started geting ready. 

( Meanwhile back with Alec.)

" WAKE UP!!" Yelled a voice, snapping Alec out of a small nap. He must of dozed off. He sat up and looked at the door, there as clear as day was not only Evan, but three other guys, but these guys had blue eyes. " Time to go Alexander."

" How many times do I have to tell you it's Alec to you." Snapped Alec.

Evan grined evenly. " And I said I can call you what I want. Now come on. There's no time to waste." Says Evan.

Alec sighed, but got up and followed him anyway. " Where are we going?" Asked Alec.

Evan ignored him. Alec sighed again, but continued to follow him.  They soon made it to a huge room. Alec looked around the room but the thing that caught his eye was a unconscious Jace by the wall. " Go ahead and check on him if you want, but I promise you,no didn't hurt him. I only made him pass out with magic." Says Evan.

Alec took the only chance he had and ran to check on Jace. He crouched down by Jace and checked his pulse first. It was as strong as ever, which was good. He had no injuries, he was just unconscious. Relief filled Alec. Jace was ok and breathing.

He stood up and turned to face Evan. " I told you I didn't hurt him, but he won't wake up." Says Evan. Alec was a bit confused. " Atleast not till I take off the spell I put on him." 

Alec sighed. " What do you want me to do?" Says Alec. Evan grinned. 

" I just got word that Magnus Bane was on his way towards Brooklyn. Now here's what I want you to do... " says Evan.

(Meanwhile back at the Institute.)

They were ready and just left the grounds of the Institute and we're making their way towards Brooklyn. " You think the tracking spell will work better in Brooklyn?" Asked isabelle.

" I'm almost positive." Says Magnus.

" Almost?" Says Isabelle.

" There's a chance it won't work and a chance it will. Let's just pray it does." Says Magnus.

Isabelle nodded and soon they were in Brooklyn. After a while longer of walking they saw a figure ahead of them. " Guys who is that?" Says Isabelle. The person was coming towards them. 

Soon he came into view. They gasped. " Alec?" Gasped Magnus...
