" What do you mean if they don't give you what you want?" Says a voice. It was a males voice, that's all Alec knew. He just barely had enough energy to open his eyes.

They were in what looked to be the back of a pick up truck. There were not only people siting in the back with them, but there were also people on the roof of the truck, hanging out the windows, and driving.

He looked to the side, it took all the effort he could not to make a sound as he did so. There next to him sat a unconscious Jace.

He was then brought back to the conversation these two men were having. " I meant if I don't get what I want from them, these two die."

Alec's mind wasn't regestering what he had said just yet. But the second he did he gasped, which was a bad mistake on his part.

All the guys there in the backs of the truck look directly at him. One guy , the who said he was going to kill them held a metal pipe. He cackled and twirled the pipe in his hand. " Well well well look who's awake." Says the guy.he looked creepy. He sorta looked like some homeless guy on the street, but what made him creepy was the glowing red eyes.

Alec gasped again. He knew those eye. They belonged to the same guy who attacked him while he was listening to his I-pod a few months back. The guy laughed again. " Finally figured out who I was did you?" Says the red eyed guy.

Alec was still to weak to do or say anything. Plus he couldn't have even if he wanted to. He not only had to stay to protect his Parabatai, his hands were tied behind his back, and his feet were tied together, he was also gagged.

" I know you have questions, but I have no time for crap like that." Says the guy. He then turned and watched as the building flew by in a blur. Alec started to panic.

It was impossible to be going this fast, unless this truck was demon powered, and if so then that must mean...

He looked into the sky and saw the moon, and the night stars. He was right it was demon powered. But if these guys are out at night then that must mean their vampires.

" I know what your thinking and no I am not a vampire." Says the red eyed guy.

Alec looked back at him. There were so many things he wanted to ask but this stupid gag got in the way.

The red eyed guy looked at Jace then back at Alec. " Don't worry I won't kill him. Yet." Says the guy. Alec felt the slightest hint of relief at that but it didn't last long. " I have a plan I have to carry out, and in order to do that I need both you and him in tip top shape which means I can't kill you nor badly hurt you."

Alec slowly nodded. The guy smiled, the light from the moon shines off his red eyes making him look more scary then he actually was.

" Good then you understand?" Says the red eyes guy.

Alec managed another nod. " Good now one last thing." Says the red eyed guy.

His then stared at Alec in a certain way that made him look evil. It actually scared Alec a bit. " If you guys don't do what I say when I say it or you try to harm me or any of my friends there will be a price to pay. Understood!" Says the red eyed guy.

Now Alec did fear this guy. He quickly nodded. The guy smiled and flipped the metal pipe around in his hand again and smiled at Alec. " Goodnight Alexander." Says the red eyed guy, and with that he swung the pipe so fast and hard, and the last thing Alec heard as it connected with his jaw was the menacing laugh from this red eyed guy. Then yet again Alec had no choice but to flee into darkness.
