It was snowing today. Isabelle had gone to meet Simon at Jave Jones for some coffee.

 They were now walking towards the Institute. Snow was falling leaving a beautiful blanket of white all over the yards. No one was driving today because of the ice that coated the road, and those who did were brave souls.

Simon and Isabelle decided to walk. Simon knew how to drive but didn't own a car. Isabelle didn't know how to drive and besides she didn't have the time. She had a job to do and that was killing every demon they could find and send them back where they came from.

So Simon and Isabelle walked hand in hand towards the Institute. " Thanks for takng me to go get coffee with you." says Isabelle.

Simon gave her a goofy smile. " Ah it was my pleasure." says Simon. " Did you have fun?"

" I did."

" Good I'm glad."

They just kept walking for a while longer before they h.ard someone call their names. " Simon. Isabelle wait up." cried the person behind them.

Isabelle and Simon turned around and saw Alec running up to them with Clary and Jace behind them. Alec held exstra weapons  in his hands and gave them to them. " Hurry there's been a demon sighting close to Taki's." says Alec.

" Well what are we waiting for? Let's get moving." says Simon. Jace nodded. The closest thing he had to coat was a light sweater. The others were the same. Isabelle could tell that Clary was could. She was nearly hoping up and down on her feet.

Then they started running  towars Taki's. zit was a bad idea to run on the icy sidewalks but when duty calls you must answer.

They ran all the way to Taki's. Isabelle then looked around when suddenly a huge demon appeared out of nowhere and grabbed Simon's leg and threw him into the alley next to Taki's where he just laid still at a stone wall.

" SIMON!!" yelled Isabelle.

The other were staring with wide eyes. Fear for Simon filled Isabelle's and Clary's eyes for Simon. Isabelle really wanted to run to Simon's side but the demon was blocking her way.

The demon struck again. This time aimed for Jace. He brought out his blade and tried to block to blow. He managed to block the first blow but the second sent him flying into Alec semding them into the stone wall hard enough to crack it. They fell and remained still.

Clary had her blade out and was blocking blow after blow with Isabelle when suddenly the demon burst into flames and collapsed in on itself.

Simon stood behind it with his blade out. Blood spotted his right temple and he clutched his rib cage. Isabelle then ran up to him and started writing healing runes on him while Clary checked up on Jace and Alec.

Soon they were all standing again. " What type of demon was that?" asked Simon.

" I don't know." says Jace. " I've never seen it before." he walked forward and was then hit in the back of the head by a snow ball. It startled him so much he sliped on ice and fell flat on his back. The others started laughing.

Jace stood up and regained his balance. " Ok who threw that?" spat Jace. Everyone pointed at Alec. " Sorry Jace couldn't help it." says Alec laughing still.

" Well the one thing I have to say is you had better start running." says Jace. The smile was gone as quickly as it had come. And with that Alec took off running down the street with his Parabatai chasing after him. The others just laughed and followed.
