Alec was on his way to the store to get something for Magnus. He was listening to his I-pod and had no idea he was being followed.

He was listening to a new song frow two girls called Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX. The song was called Fancy.

Magnus was crazy about the song. It was pretty good. Alec was starting to like it. And before he knew it he was singing along to it. " I'm so fancy. You already know. I'm in the fast lane. From L.A. to Tokyo."

Alec now knew why Magnus loved it so much. Then he sensed something behind him. He froze and stoped singing in mid sentence.

Once he knew the person was behind him he fliped around and punched the person directly in the face.

The person screamed in shock and pain and stumbled back . Alec still had no idea who it was. It was dark out and he couldn't see anything.

Then the person opened his eyes. It wasn't a human. Its blood red eyes glowed in the dark staring at him. Alec paniced and reached for a weaopn only to remember he had left them at Magnus's flat. Alec nearly screamed at himself for leaving without a weapon.

He would have to fight with his hands. But before he could even do anything the thing moved with lightning speend and had his arm. it twisted his arms so hard he cried out and was forced to bend over. Then a knee connected hard with his gut forcing a heavy breath from his mouth.

He was then shoved to the ground holding his side with one hand. But he still tried to get up. Then a foot connected hard with his rib cage. Alec managed to hold in his cry of pain.

Then he was grabed by his shirt and slamed into the wall. Then a fist hit his face hard. Alec tried to fight back and break free of the things death grip but it was to strong

After reciving three more hits to the face he was droped. Alec fell to his hands and knees. Then the things foot kicked his side four hard times causing Alec to cry out in pain and fall to the ground. The thing then ran away.

Alec groaned and struggled to get up. As soon as he was on his feet he took off running the best he could back to Magnus's flat. He soon ran through the front door and into the den. " Alec is that you?" called Magnus from the back room.

" Yeah its me." Alec called back. He was still holding his side. It had to be bruised.

Magnus then came around the corner with Isabelle, Jace, Simon, and Clary. Isabelle's eyes went wide when she saw him. She ran forward. " Oh my gosh Alec what happened? Are you OK?" says Isabelle.

" I'm fine just a bit sore. Some weird thing with blood red eyes jumped out and attacked me. I didn't have any weapon with me at the time.' says Alec. then he remembered he had left his I-pod there. He told Magnus where he left it and asked if he could poof it up. And he did.

Magnus then looked at the screen and saw what song he was listening to and a huge grin spread across his face. " No freaking way!!" says Magnus.

" What?" says isabelle. Magnus started laughing and walked up to Alec. " You were listening to Fancy?" says Magnus.

Alec smiled and laughed as he sat down. He let out a small hiss of pain as he did so. Magnus's eyes went wide and the smile was gone. " Your hurt." says Magnus.

" Alittle its nothing big." says Alec. Magnus put his hand on Alec's side causing his to wince. " You might have a cracked rib." says Magnus.

" Really Alec how is that nothing big?" says Jace. Magnus concentrated hard and used his magic to heal ever injured part of Alec's body. Once he was done Alec smiled. " Thank you." says Alec.

He stood up and looked over at the others. Jace was holding his I-pod and glaring at him. " What?" says Alec. The others looked at Jace. He tossed Alec his I-pod. Alec caught it.

" I can't elive you were listening to my girl Iggy without me. What's wrong witchu?" says Jace. Then he turns and walked out of the room leaving Alec and the others standing there confused.
