*A week has gone by*

Katelyn's POV

I got a call from the hospital telling me that my scheduled check up has been changed to an hour early. The man talking on the phone sounded worried he said he was looking at the picture of my baby and he said that something dose not look right.
I called Travis and we both headed for the hospital.

T: Katelyn what do you think is wrong?

K: I don't know Travis....but he did not sound happy....

T: .... We need to get there fast to see what the heck is going on

On our way there I started feeling sick so I told Travis to pull over and I ended up getting sick on the side of the road. But there was blood....this worried me a lot. Once we reached the hospital Travis helped me out of the car.
We waited for our name to be called.

Dr. : Em Katelyn

We get up and follow the doctor.

Dr. : Ok now I'm guessing you got a call from us.

K: Yes I did....and I would like to know what's wrong..

Dr. : Now before I tell you I need to check you up. Just in case we mistaken it. So if you could just lay down here and stay still.

They got an ex ray and went into a different room to look at the results.

I grab on to Travis's hand and hold it tightly.

Dr. : Now Katelyn we just have a question for you.

K: Yes Dr.

Dr. : How have you been doing over the past week or so... Like has anything changed or do u feel different?

K: well on our way here I got sick and it was different there was blood..

Dr. : Oh... Ok then is that all?

K: Em I think so

Dr. : Ok I'm going to leave you too for a bit before I tell you whats happening.

The Doctor leaves the room leaving me and Travis alone.

K: Travis....I'm scared..

T: Shhh...everything is going to be ok.

He pets my head.
A few minutes go by and I hear a knock on the door.
The doctor enters.

Dr. : Ok are you two ready?

K+T : Yes

Dr. : I'm very deeply sorry to say that...your baby has died..

We both sit there in shock of what has just come out of the doctors mouth.
I start to cry on to Travis's arm.

Dr. : You must have had a miscarriage.

T: THERE MUST BE A MISTAKE..

K: T--Travis...please tell me this is not true...

Dr. : I don't know what went wrong but I'm sorry. I will leave you to take this in.

The doctor leaves the room once again.

Travis hugs me tight and I'm still crying.

K: *sniffle* Why dose this have to happen to us....

T: Katelyn... Shhh *Rubs my back* *sighs* i-its going to be ok....at least we have each other..

We sit there for about an hour until we leave.

We hope in the car and drive home...

I ask Travis to stay over for the night and he dose.

K: Travis...how are we going to tell everyone.....

T: Katelyn... I-I don't know...

I fall asleep on Travis's shoulder on the couch and I'm heart broken...our first child is... Ughh!
