After dinner both of them retire to their respective rooms but sanyu's new discovery regarding her feelings was making it impossible for her to sleep

"what the hell did you do sanyukta, you cant do this, he deserves someone way better than you, you have nothing to give him, you've already caused enough trouble for him, don't make it worse with your feelings"

She turns on her bed and a tear roll down through the edge of her eye

Sanyu-but, i-I really c-cant help it

She clutches onto her chest as she finds herself starting to cry, she tries to muffle her cries by hiding her face in the pillow

Here vids was panicking over her brother's wound, when he just came to chek upon his sister

Vids-seriously bhai, when did you get that and moreover why didn't you treat it properly

Virat-vids, I am fine

Vids(scoffs)-yeah, right, look at it bhai, its infected, we are going to the hospital right now, parth take the car(she tosses her brother's car keys to him for which parth gives her a salute"

Parth-aye aye captain

Vids literally drags virat towards the car and they drive off to the hospital, on reaching the hospital, the nurse comes and informs them that the doctor will be here soon

Virat-vids, its really nothing

For which he just receives a glare, he looks at parth for help while parth just shrugs

Virat gives a sigh of defeat, that's when the door of the emergency room opens and Dr. Raj enters with a smiling face when seeing vids and parth but as soon as his gaze falls on virat his smile vanishes and they hear virat's sharp intake of breath

Both parth and vids keep on looking between raj and virat, neither of them batting an eyelash

Virat's face was dripping with guilt and shame while raj was showing a look of hurt and betrayal

The atmosphere inside the room was getting tensed, so vidhushi decides to break it but Dr. Raj beats her to it

Raj(clears his throat)-so who we have here(looking at vids)

Vids-Dr. Raj, this is my brother Virat, Bhai this Dr.Raj, rd bhai's friend

Virat was about to say something but raj again speaks

Raj-So Mr.......Virat, right? (virat nods) lets see, you got your wound infected right? Let me have a look

Virat just keeps on looking at Raj while Raj waits for Virat to show his hand

Vids-bhai.....bhai

Virat looks at vids

Vids-show your hand

As if coming out of trance he brings his hand forward, raj holds cups his hand and looks at the long cut running along the palm of his and the surrounding area was turning yellow.

Virat finds his vision getting blurry the instant raj cups his hand ever so gently.

Raj-its starting to get infected, how many days has it been?

Raj looks up to see virat's eyes brimming with tears

Raj-looks like its painful

Raj says and leaves his hand and asks the nurse to bring the equipment for cleaning the wounds

Vids-bhai, you alright? (places he hand on his shoulder)

Virat-I am fine vids, looks like it started paining now

Vids-good that we came, now it will get better

Raj comes back

Raj-vids, parth, can you guys wait outside while I clean his wound, its not a nice sight (vids looks at virat for which he nods) and don't worry, your brother is in safe hands

Vids smiles and both of them leave the room while raj wears his gloves and mask

Raj-Mr.Virat, I want you to keep your hand on this stand with you palm wide open

Virat does as he was told, his gaze not leaving raj even for a second

Raj starts to clean the wound with and occasional hissing sound from virat

Raj-I am sorry but it might sting a little

Virat-R-Raj

Raj-its Dr. Raj for my patients

Virat-I-I am sorry

Raj-please don't be, its just a name, mistakes are bound to happen, just remember to call me Dr. Raj the next time

Virat-you know I am not talking about that.

Raj-I really don't know

Saying that he presses onto the more infected area and virat hisses

Raj-I am sorry

Virat-its nothing compared to what I have made you go through

Raj-I don't know what you are talking about Mr.Virat, I think you must have mistaken me for someone else

Virat(raises his voice)-will you stop pretending?

Raj-this is a hospital, pls don't disturb my patients

Raj now starts dressing his wound, once he was done, he goes to write down the medicine on the letter head

Raj-I am prescribing some medicine for the infection and you might have to come back after two days for redressing

Raj stands up only to find him face to face with virat

Virat-so you don't know me?

Raj-what are you talking about, we are..........

But before he could complete virat crashes their lips together and soon enough raj pushes him

Raj-what are you trying to prove

Virat-pls stop pretending to not know me (tears makes their way down his cheeks)

Raj comes dangerously close to his face

Raj-listen to me very carefully, it was you who wanted nothing to do with me, lets keep it that way.

He moves away and shoves the prescription into Virat's hand and walks out of the door leaving a confused vids and parth behind.

Here Natasha was sitting outside the café because karan told her to wait till he comes out and she could see them talking but not their facial expression because karan was sitting with his back towards her and avantika's form was totally covered by his. She was just praying for the best for him.

Inside the café

Karan-what do you want now

Avantika-I see that someone has a good influence on you(gives a sad smile)

Karan-not that its any of your business. What is it that you want to talk about.

Avantika looks out of the glass window to see Natasha sitting on one of the outdoor chairs and tapping her fingers on the table. She takes a deep breath and then looks at Karan

Avantika-the reason I left you.....................

She tells him everything, every single thing

Avantika-and I am sorry Karan, but even if I try, I cant regret my decision of keeping aveer

Karan looks up at her and he was crying and avantika got reminded to that day, she rejected him in front of the university

Karan-you had aveer, but what about me Avantika, I had no one. And you left even without trying, not even once, I could have been with you both, we could have been a family

Hearing that Avantika's resolve breaks and she starts crying and due to his instincts he just goes around the table and hugs her.

Natasha sees Karan hugging Avantika and a small smile makes its way to her face along with a few tears, she wipes her tears and stands from her seat, takes her bicycle and walks off from there with tears again making their way towards her eyes

Avantika-I am so sorry karan...I am really sorry, I was too young to think properly and I didn't wanted to hold you back because of my mistake

Karan-things could have been different Avantika.

Avantika(breaking the hug)-but I know that I have lost my chance Karan

He looks at her confused for which she just smiles

Avantika-someone made way through that self build wall of yours and melted you then and there and that's the only reason why you are here listening to me, idiot.

Karan-but..

Avantika(cuts him off)-we had our chance, I made a silly mistake, and once again I don't wish to hold you back from having proper happy life just because you loved me(karan was about to protest) yes you loved me karan in the past, I am your past, your future is out there waiting for you and now you have your closure. Now don't be silly standing here and chase after the person you love.

Karan just stands there confused

Avantika-me and aveer, we have each other and I don't think he will like and addition to our world, we are happy like this karan, and I know for sure that even if you stay with us, your heart already belongs to someone else, you might not know this now, but don't take too long to realize otherwise it will be too late. We don't get second chances in love so often.

Karan looks at her for a few seconds and she was right, she was happy with how she was right now, the only person dwelling in the past was him and along came a short but strong girl who pulled him out and right now he got to chase her and keep her by his side for the rest of his life

He looks outside to see it empty, he looks at avantika, for which she nods and he runs out in search of her.

At Sanyal house

Rd wakes up in need of water, he looks at the jug which was empty, he rubs at his eyes and steps out of the bed, he descends down the stairs and walks towards the kitchen and surprisingly the lights were on and sanyukta was sitting on the counter chair with her head on the counter

Rd-sanyukta!

She didn't move, he walks near her and finds her soundly sleeping and an empty glass of water near her, rd fills another glass and drinks it, then he goes near Sanyukta and wakes her up by shaking her shoulder

Rd-sanyukta

Slowly she sits up straight on the chair and rubs her eyes

Sanyu-rd sir

Rd looks at her and sees that her eyes were red and swollen

Rd-what happened sanyukta, were you crying?

He cups her face and looks her in the eyes and she looks away

Rd-you can tell me anything, you know that right?

Sanyu-I-I c-can't

Her reply sounded so helpless that it made rd's heart clench and he hugs her and she wraps her hand around his waist

Rd-please tell me sanyukta, what is bothering you, I cant see you like this.

Sanyu-p-please d-don't hate me

Rd was shocked to hear that coming from her mouth, she might have cried in front of him but never had she ever sounded this broken, rd breaks the hug and cups her face to make her look up at him

Sanyu-i-I cant help it

Rd-what sanyukta, just let me know, I will make it all right

Sanyu-you c-can't, coz I made a big mistake and you cant make it right, c-cause I don't know what to do other than to feel miserable for what I feel..................(there was a long silence with both of them looking into each other's eyes) FOR YOU(comes her mumbled words)

Rd-what did you say sanyukta?

He asks again to make sure that what he heard was right

Sanyu-I said i-I feel miserable for feeling what I feel for you, coz its wrong, it's a mistake

Rd-what do you feel sanyukta?

Rd's hold onto her face firms a bit so that she answers him still looking straight in the eyes

Sanyu-i-i

Rd-you what sanyukta?

Sanyu-I love you

With that being said she hides her face in his chest and starts crying again

Sanyu-and its wrong...because because I am not worth you, I don't deserve you, I am sorry

Rd tries to make her look at him, she has no idea what those three words have done to him, he has never been this happy after his mother left him, it was like his dream was coming true but the rest of the words coming out of her mouth were stinging like poisonous dagger

Rd-sanyukta, its not a mistake and please look at me

Sanyu-p-please don't hate me

She was literally begging through her tear stained face, and rd couldn't stand seeing her like that, so he does what he thought was right

Rd-If it makes you feel any better....i love you too sanyukta. And not from now, nor yesterday but from the first day that I saw you on that bus

Sanyu looks at him confused but then it turns to shock when she feels his lips on her, first her eyes go wide then she slowly closes her eyes and brings both of her hands to wrap around rd's neck, while rd curls his hand around her waist and makes her stand up from the chair, both of them relax into each other's touch.

Everything is falling into place, slowly...or is it???
