Sanyu-what about them

Vd-I want you to sit down first, this is going to be long

Sanyu sits down in front of him

Vd-I know you might not have any memory of me but we've met before

Sanyu(confused)-we have

Vd-as you know, I am a lawyer and I used to work with your father as his company's legal adviser until that unfortunate thing happened

Sanyu looks at samar whose head was hung low, she was about to grab him and hug him but rd beats her to that and now samar was in his arms and she turns to vd

Vd-you know that when your parents died in that car crash both of you were minors and so you had to have legal guardians, the court did give you, if you remember, a choice to stay with your relatives or with your father's lawyer

Sanyu nods as she remembers being asked by a very sweet lady if she wanted to stay with her uncle and aunt or with her father's lawyer and she remembers saying that she wanted to stay with her uncle, I mean who would choose a stranger over their uncle and mind you, she was just 13 then. Only if she knew what she knows now

Vd-and I was sure that it would be them over me but I just wanted to make sure that you guys were ok and your lives were secure, so I made sure that everything in that company belong to both of you and they were just the people looking after it.

Sanyu-but I have never seen you

Vd-that's because once they came to know about what I did, they fired me and that's when I realized that they just wanted....

Sanyu-the money

Vd nods

Vd-I wanted to tell you about all of this but I couldn't, I wasn't even allowed to meet you and samar was send to boarding school, they just wanted the company

Rd-but why would they send samar away and not her

Vd-because he was not the problem then, he was just 10 and his property was already their till he turns 18 but according to law sanyukta still can take control over certain matters if needed and they never wanted her to know that, atleast not before they execute their plan

At his question she looks at him and then at the floor

Sanyu-they made me believe that Rajeev loved me, I thought that everyone loved me genuinely and when I turned 18 and was starting to attend college, they asked me to marry him, I was too blinded with their fake love to see what they wanted from me, they got me married and I without thinking twice signed away everything that I had in a matter of seconds, I had no idea that they would change this fast, they started treating me really bad

She couldn't say anything further because of the lump that was forming in her throat

Samar looks at her and his eyes start watering, he goes to her and kneels down in front of her

Samar-why didn't you tell me about all of this, di

Sanyu-I just wanted you to be happy and they told me that they would stop paying for your studies, I couldn't risk that and let you end up with me in that hell

Samar-why would you go through all of this all alone

A tear rolls down his cheek and he hugs her

Rd was just looking at them with a clenched fist while vd had a look of guilt in his eyes

Vd-and they are not planning to stop here

Sanyu looks up at him confused

Sanyu-what they want from us now?

Vd-from samar

Involuntarily her grip around samar tightens

Sanyu-what do they want from him

Vd-he is turning 18 in a few months, right?

They both nod

Vd-so, as soon as he turns 18, he has the right to reclaim your company and since his shares are still his, they cant do anything but return it to them, unless something happens to him

Both rd and sanyu look up at him with wide eyes

Rd-what does that means mamu

Vd sighs a tired sigh

Vd-they want him cleared from their path, so that no one can come up with the claim as sanyukta has already given her share to them

Rd-but why would they come after them now, after all these years

Vd-I don't know how, but I think, they have come to know about the will

Rd-what will?

Vd-Mr. Aggarwal's secret will

Rd-secret will?

Vd-mmhmm, it was me who made that will and its in that will that's written that sanyukta has no right over them and they are to be stay dormant till he turns 18, and since she has no right on them, any legal procedures they might have done with her are null and void and the shares still belong to him. But before I could get a chance to slap these on their faces and rescue you guys, I heard that you left from there along with samar, all these years I tried to find you but I failed until rd took me to that party

Sanyukta looks at rd but rd was busy thinking something

Rd-mamu, that means they can only have that company if something happens to samar and this will holds no importance, that means all those attacks were meant to harm him

His eyes go wide while sanyu tightens her grip around samar even more, if that was even possible

Rd brushes his fingers through his hair

Sanyu-I wont let anything happen to you

She says in his ears

Vd-we wont let anything happen to anyone, I wanted to come and warn you about all of this and yes sanyukta, don't worry you are not alone, I am with you, we are with you(looks at rd)

Sanyu just nods, still hugging samar and patting his hair

They all sit there in silence as if giving the siblings some time to dawn in all the information and then vd speaks up

Vd-the attacks on samar proves that they are tailing you both and so, I want you guys to move to a safe place, I will be back in two days, pack all the necessities

Sanyukta-but where

Vd-my house

The trio looks at him and sanyukta was about to say something when vd again speaks up

Vd-sanyukta, what happened to your parents was unexpected and I wasn't able to be their for you both for a long time and I blame myself for that, but now when I have found you both, I cant leave you for them to come and harm you again, me and your father were not just two people working together, we were friends for a long time, he was like a brother to me and I believe that now its my duty to protect his children, because they are like my own

Both samar and sanyu look up at him with tears ready to fall from their eyes, vd pats both of their hair lovingly and starts walking towards the door

Vd-go to sleep both of you, I will come back in two days

But they all knew that sleep was something that they couldn't imagine after all the new information they have heard

Vd keeps his hands on rd's shoulder and whisper's to him

vd-you wanna talk now

rd knows that his uncle was talking about the misunderstanding between him and sanyukta, she looks at the girl who looked scared but at the same time determined to not lose to anyone, who was holding onto her brother as if her life depended on him

rd nods in a no and starts walking to the door

He needed to give her time, tonight was a lot to her and he cant just barge in so as to prove his innocence, yes he wants her to know and believe him but right now he wasn't her to feel alright with all the information she has heard and the next time they talk, he wants her to tell him everything that she has gone through so that he could give every single pain back to that horrible excuse for a man named Rajeev

Sanyu looks up to see him looking at her and their eyes lock

She could see the concern in his eyes, she could tell that he wanted to talk but was stopping himself, then she felt something else, there was anger in his eyes as if he thought something that made him angry, suddenly he was walking towards them and before either of the siblings could say or do anything, they were both trapped in his arms with his head resting on their now joined ones, sanyu felt him place a feather light kiss on samar's hair and then he did the same to her, which for some unknown reasons made her want to duck her face more into his chest and the she heard him say the thing that she so wanted to hear from some

Rd-I will not let anything happen to any of you, I am here and I will always be here, you don't have to be scared of anything, they wont even be able to touch a single strand of your hair, never again, I will protect you with my life.

Rd had no idea what came to him, but the moment their eyes met the urge to hug them took over any rational thought he had in mind, he walked straight to them and engulfed them in his arms as if to protect them from anything that comes their way with an intention to harm them, he doesn't mind if sanyu hates him or denies to trust him, he will do the thing that he must do and that is to protect them even if it costs him his life. They are worth it.

And they both know that there are so many things that are to be said and heard which was kept for another night. And deep down inside she knew that she was stupid to not believe this person because if she was to believe someone, it would be him always him.

Its just the things that vd knew and wanted to tell them while there are things that sanyukta has gone through which in the near future she might tell rd and a lot more things are about to come
