I know guys its been really really really long since I've updated....things were very hectic for me and I couldn't bring myself to write anything and then there was this flood problem here(Kerala) even though my area was not affected as much as others, we had no electricity and network and things were really bad for many that I had no mental strength to write

Now things are getting better and I am feeling better so yeah, here is the update

Part 48

Its been 1 week now since karan's accident

Karan-hey, half doctor

Natasha, who was looking at his reports, looks up at him

Natasha-what?

Karan-oh cmon, what is more interesting in here other than me

Natasha-duh!! You are so full of yourself, aren't ya?

Karan-oh cmon, even you cant deny that I am hot and delicious

Natasha-right now you are looking like a stitched up rag doll

That's when raj enters

Raj-hey nats, how is it going

Karan-yeah...she is bossing me around, why would you give her the job of looking after me

But before raj could say anything Natasha says

Natasha-hello mr. I-am-full-of-myself, I wanted a part time job and that's what I am doing, cmon raj bhaiyya, I came in here to see him and you just made me incharge?

Raj-guys....cool, I sometimes think like I am more of a peace maker than a doctor, just bear with it, (to karan)you have a broken rib and you live alone its something that needs to be taken care of cautiously (to Natasha) and nats...I know how passionate you are about being a doctor, just take it as an experience, ok

He looks at both of them expecting an answer

It was lunch time and instead of eating sanyu was now and then looking at her phone screen and vids who was getting irritated with that finally asks her

Vids-are you going to stare at the food

Sanyu-huh!! What?

Vids-what is wrong with you sanyu, its been a week since you are acting weird

Sanyu-i....its just I am worried about the charity event

Vids-ahhh...right what kinda theme is it.....mystical love...so cliché

Sanyu-and that decorator is planning to bring in originality...she is looking for original magical iteams

Vids-seriously!! That's insane

Sanyu-yeah I know

Vids-don't worry sanyu...you should not get tensed....things will be alright

Sanyu-I know, but we have only a week left and karan sir is not here as well

Vids-thank god, he is fine..

Sanyu-I know right, I cant even think about rd sir

Vids-seems like you are thinking about him a lot lately

Sanyu-its not like that

Sanyu-lunch time is almost over...lets go

Saying that sanyu leaves from there

Vids(smirking)-my hopelessly unromantic friend is falling in love.....yay(excited)

Here sanyu reaches her cubicle and thinks about what vids said

Sanyu-she is right...why am I behaving like this

While she was drowned in her thoughts, one of her another intern comes to her and tells her that she was called by harsh sir

At the mention of harsh, she would go stiff because she always felt like she must do her best in front of him

She reaches his cabin and knocks at door and a shrewd "come in" comes form inside

As soon as she enters she sees him engrossed in some file work, it was like looking at a much older rd

Harsh looks up at her and sees her staring at him and so he clears his throat and says

Harsh-so miss sanyukta, how are the preparations for the charity event going on

Sanyu-sir we are going at a good pace for everything other than the charity date auction

Harsh-mmmhmmm....what is the trouble with that?

Sanyu-we are short with two members

Harsh-ok, I'll tell mr.verma to look at that and you people should go and look at the decorations today

Sanyu-yes sir

Harsh-thank you, you may leave now

Sanyu-thank you sir

She leaves from there releasing the breath she didn't knew she was holding

Vids-heyyy what happened, why did harsh uncle called you?

Sanyu-to ask about the preparation

She takes a few files and stands up

Vids-where are you going?

Sanyu-to look at the decorations at the venue, and you have to come with me

Vids-oh...ok, I'll be right there

At the hospital

Natasha-will you just stop moving

Karan-girl, I need to get up

Natasha-I will help you but lemme pack your things first

Karan-god I hate this

Natasha-god!! This man

Saying that she goes to him and slowly helps him up

Karan-thanx

His hand was around her neck while her one hand was holding onto his waist very gently and other one was holding his hand around her neck, she looks up at him and both of their faces were really close, while karan was looking at her Natasha releases his hand and moves away

Natasha-nothing to thank me about, I am getting paid

Karan-you were so good a few days back

Natasha-I was the same, its just that I know now

Karan-what?

But before they could continue the conversation, they hear a knock and the door opens to reveal avantika

Three of them look at each other awkwardly

Avantika-i...I heard that you were being discharged today

Karan just looks at Natasha

Natasha-yeah, he is...you are his friend right?

Avantika decides not to reply to that question and asks another one

Avantika-you are?

To that karan replies

Karan-I don't think there is any need to answer any of your question and why are you here, please leave

Hearing that avantika becomes even more shattered

Avantika-I am so sorry

She leaves from there

Natasha-can you just not be jerk

She leaves from there to follow avantika but she couldn't find her and comes back

Natasha-what is wrong with you

Karan-what is wrong with me? What is wrong with YOU(he raises his voice and winces in pain)

Natasha-what happened, is it paining?

Natasha moves to him but karan pushes her away

Karan-just go, ok...I don't need anyone

Natasha-you are paying me for this

Karan-I'll pay you for leaving as well

Natasha-I am sorry ok

Karan stays silent

Natasha sits next to him on the bed

Natasha-my father had an attack again today and he needs to get operated soon, I have no idea what am I going to do

Karan looks up at her to see her face tensed and sad

Karan-she told me that she toyed with me for 3 years and she didn't really loved me and after all these years...I see her with a 5 year old child, which proved that what she said was right.

Now Natasha looks at his hurt expression

They both look at each other seeing themselves in each other's eyes...both of them were confused, scared and some way or another were helpless

At mehra industries

Man-mam we couldn't find the papers at sanyal house

Suhasini-I knew..he wont make it that easy for me to find those papers, search everywhere, including sanyal industries and shekhawat industries as well as shekhawat mansion

Man-but mam, shekhwat house and industries have top notch security system

Suhasini-I don't care, I am not paying you to find excuses, find me those papers...ok

Man-yes mam

Sanyu looks at rd clad in a three piece suite and his hair perfectly gelled who takes her hand from the young man who was dancing with her a few mins back
