Sanyu enters her house and closes the door behind her and rests her back on it breathing a sigh of relief

Sanyu-no, he is at home...he has his project presentation tomorrow so I said to rest today coz he wont take leave tomorrow

They continue with the class and finally the bell rang and vids rushes out of the classroom not waiting for anyone

They walk towards the canteen, while vids reaches the coffee shop where karan was to meet her, she walks in to see karan sitting at a corner table

Vids-hey, hi

Karan-hi

Vids-so tell me

Karan-why don't you order something first

Vids-nah!! I am going to parth, I'll have my lunch there

Vids-so, is he serious?

Vids(irritated)-arrgh, ofcourse rd bhai....for what else are we here?

vids-if rd bhai is serious about her and is willing to accept her after knowing all thins then she'll be the happiest girl in her whole life, she has never seen happiness in her life, you know I've never seen her smile whole heartedly ever, its always a smile for the world.

Karan-after rd's mother died, he was like he had no reason to live, he was like a robot without any feelings for anyone but after he met her, he started to become the old rd that I knew

Vids-but I don't know if sanyu will agree about any of this

Karan-even rd thinks that he will only add to her tensions, he is even ready to give up even before trying

They both think for a few seconds and then vids face lights up as if getting an idea

Vids-I have an idea....we are having an alumini meet for the ME dept.....every year it is done on a yacht and every year the third years and fourth years have the responsibility of doing the arrangements so all the staff members also need to be there which means rd bhai and sanyukta both will be there and who knows may be a change of environment will help them to open up about their feelings

Karan-do you think so?

Vids-I hope so, but there is a teeny weeny problem about all this(sheepish smile)

Karan-and that would be?

Vids(continues with the sheepish grin)-sanyu said that she is not coming

Vids leaves and karan was a about to leave when his phone rings and it was rd

Rd-I forgot the next mall's file at the house, ppls can you bring it to me

Karan-what will you do without me rd, I am at the café near your college, I was on the way to give that to you

Karan-use that for tomorrow's morning toast

Rd laughs along with karan and they hung up

Karan leaves the café and was now walking through the corridor of fite, he knocks at rd's cabin and enters

Here at dean's office

Maya-thank you avantika for helping me with the guest list

Avantika-its totally my pleasure mam(checks her watch), amm mam I think I should get going

Maya-sure dear, don't forget to come for the alumini meet

Avantika-how can I miss that mam

She stands from her seat and walks out only to bang onto something hard but she didn't fall back which she was waiting for with her eyes closed, she opens her eyes when she hears someone call her name so silently that she first thought that her ears were ringing

v-avantika!!!

She slowly opens her eyes to see who was the owner of thet voice and standing in front of her was karan, holding onto her waist, stopping her from falling and his eyes were reflecting pain which was looking into her eyes

He has grown even more handsome than before and that beard he was having right now was making him look even hotter than before

There she was standing in front of him, the reason why he is the way he is right now, the reason why he couldn't believe in love anymore, the only person he thought loved him and dreamt of spending his rest of the life with but she was so different from what he thought, she threw his heart away and ran away from him without even sparing a single glane at his broken self....there was a time when he loved her but today his feelings have changed, he hated that face, he hated those lips which he could never stop kissing, he hated that smile to see that he could do anything back then, he hated this person to his core and meeting her was the last thing he wanted in his life

He leaves her waist and she falls onto the floor

Karan-oops sorry for stooping you to your own level

Avantika(stands up)-is this how you say hello to your long lost friend

Karan(mockingly laughs)-friend!! You are really shameless, you know that?

Avantika(smiling)-why? Because I have the audacity to stand in front of you after breaking up with you, I thought it was normal.

Karan-ohhh we had a relationship??(as if thinking)really, I cant really remember?

Says avantika running towards him who was sitting with rd on the grass at the campus backyard

Karan(faking excitement)-wow...ice cream

Rd-hey avantika, why don't you guys get a room(smirking)

Karan-actually that's a really good suggestion you know, come babe lets go

Avantika(sternly)-karan!!

Karan-ok fine, but don't think that you will be spared today

Avantika blushes while karan kisses her hair

He was brought back from his trance when he hears someone scream and he sees someone fall in front of his car

Karan(stepping out of his car)-oh my god, are you ok

He sees a girl on the ground holding onto her elbow and tears ready to fall from her eyes

He goes and kneels in front of the girl

Karan-I am so sorry, I was thinking something else and I didn't see you coming(looking at her elbow)oh my god, its bleeding

The girl looks up at him with her blue innocent eyes which were shining due to tears ready to fall down

Girl-Its ok, it was my fault too,I shouldn't have been this fast

That's when karan sees a cycle lying next to the girl which was now half broken

Karan(runs his hands though his hair)-I am so sorry,I broke your cycle, I'll get it fixed for you, pls forgive me

Girl(her voice was shaking)-no no no, its ok I'll get it fixed

The girl tries to stand up but she was about to fall down but karan stands and catches her at the nick of time

Karan(holding onto her)-are you alright

Girl(finally the tears fall)-my leg, its paining

He looks down to see that her ankle was swelling up, without any further word her lifts her up in his arms to earn a gasp from the girl and takes her to his car

Karan-I am taking you to the hospital

Girl-no pls, I have to go to work

Karan-you work here at the college

Girl-I work at the administrative dept.

Karan-don't worry, my friend works here, I'll tell him to tell the dept. ok...now pls go to the hospital with me

Girl gives a slight nod and karan places her at the passenger's seat and then takes her bicycle and keeps it at one space in the cycle stand and then hops onto the driver's seat, he was about to drive off when he hears a car horn and he looks through to see that avantika was now stepping out of her car and was coming towards his own, he looks at the girl at his side and moves as if to help her to pull the seat belt and the girl tries to back off but the seat wasn't helping her and he stayed in that position more than needed and turns to avantika when she calls out but stops when she sees what she saw

Avantika-hey..yo............

Karan just turns his head still sitting leaned to the girl

Karan-yes

Avantika-would you mind clearing the exit and take whatever you people were doing to somewhere else

Karan(extra sweetly)-ohh...I am so sorry, my girlfriend here was asking me to help her and how can I say no, I hope you'll understand

Avantika(equally sweet)-sure(fake smiles for which karan returns the same fake smile)

She goes from there and karan returns to his normal position and he looks at the girl who was looking too shocked to register anything

Karan-thank you

Girl(coming out of shock)-what was all that

Karan(smiling)-nothing, thank you for playing along

Girl-huh...yes ok(still confused)

Karan-btw, whats your name?

Girl-natasha Gill(guys I don't remember if I have given Natasha a last name or not, if yes pls mention it in the comments please)

Karan-karan, Karan Khurana

She just nods and he starts the car and after a few mins

Karan-I am sorry about earlier

Natasha-your ex-girlfriend

Karan(amused)-how did you know

Natasha-well i've been used as a fake girlfriend many times so I understand and so you don't have to feel sorry.(smiles)

Karan-ohhh

They reach the hospital and she gets her wound dressed

Karan-I you want me to drop you somewhere

Natasha- no thank you, I am going to college now

Karan-ohhh perfect, me too, to get your bicycle fixed

Natasha-oh you don't have to, it was my fault too...

Karan-but I insist

They start walking together
Karan- so are you an all time worker at fite

Natasha- no, I work part time, I am a medical college drop out

Karan-drop out?

Natasha-huh!! Well it's a long story, of fate wants us to meet again, I'll surely tell you the story.(smiles)

Karan-fair enough

They sit in the car and go back to fire

At fite after the last period

Sanyu was talking on the phone with bids and was in a hurry too

Sanyu-vids, how can you miss the lab today

Vids-cmon sanyu, it's not a big deal

Sanyu-really!! Now you'll have extra load

Vids-you always have that sanyu, why are you worried about me, just don't worry ok, tell me are you coming to the hospital

Sanyu-may be but right now I am running to reach work at time, so bye

As soon as she cuts the call and was running at the same time, she runs into rd who was locking his cabin and was walking towards her direction and she knocks him down and something unexpected happened

He fell on her and his lips fell on her lips.....

Yikesss....they kissed(well not literally but yeah😉😉)
