After 3 days of resting sanyu was finally ready to resume her college but she was tensed as she was thrown out of her part time job at the supermarket because of her absence without notice.

Sanyu was as usual ready to bang at samar's door but to her surprise he opens the door all dressed up in his school uniform and she looks at him shocked

Samar(moving her aside)-what!! Di come and give me my breakfast.

Sanyu-huh!!...haan, but wait whats with this waking up early all of a sudden

Samar-offo di, don't you know, today rd sir is coming back

That's when sanyu remembers that today was the day rd said that he would be back from China and for some unknown reason she actually felt relieved and happy.

Sanyu-ahh...right but whats the connection between that and you getting ready this early

Samar(slurping at his cornflakes)-karan bhai said that he will take me with him to the airport, he'll be here soon

Sanyu-samar, don't be like this, don't cling onto sir this much, he helping you is a big thing, ok

Samar-no di I am not being clingy, after reaching there rd sir called me and he was the one to say this, (proudly) you know he likes me and he misses me a lot(smirking)

Sanyu-yeah yeah whatever, just remember what I've said

Samar-ok Hitler sis

Sanyu-yes baby bro

That's when the door bell rings

Samar(running towards the door)-that must be karan bhai

He opens the door and his happy face turns to a cringe one on seeing vidhushi

Vids(ruffling his hair)-oey whats with that expression,I don't look that bad(entering)

Samar-yeah yeah you look super hot(closing the door behind him)

Vids-thank you baby bro

Samar-oh c'mon(irritated)

Here in the kitchen sanyu was smiling hearing their convo, vidhushi enters the kitchen

Vids-oey, what happened to him, all ready this early

Sanyu-oh he is waiting for karan, to go to airport and when the bell rang he thought it was him

Vids(mouth forms a complete "o")-ohhhhhh, that's what the expression was, but why is he going to the airport with karan

Samar-to pick up rd sir(shouts from the hall and sanyu signals her to hear him)

Vids-ahh...bhai is coming today, the girls in our class were dying without him, finally they will breath(chuckling but sanyu didn't find it funny and she was busy with her thoughts) oey

Sanyu(coming back to her senses)-huh, what did you say

Vids-nothing, I was just thinking that as you have no part time job for today, lets go to the mall, what say?

Sanyu was about to deny but vids interrupts

Vids-no...I wont take a no as an answer, you are coming, just you and me, lets talk,hmm?

Sanyu-but vids I have a job opening at the mall...so I really need to go yaar pls.

Vids-ok fine, but you wont start working from today right? so after interview we can walk around, I'll go with you

Sanyu-ok fine, but what about kaustu, isn't she coming?

Vids-nah, she has a blind date to attend

Sanyu(laughing)-what!! Blind date?

Vids(laughing with her)-yeah, she is so excited about it, I just hope it turns out well

Sanyu-yeah

Again the door bell rings and samar asks sanyu to open to welcome her irritating friends for which sanyu glares at him and goes to the door while vids tells him that no one else was coming and hearing that he runs to the door but not before grabbing his bag, yes it was karan and as soon as sanyu opens the door samar comes in front of her and says a bye to her

Samar-bye di, bye vids, lets go bhai

Karan-ok superman, amm and sanyukta, rd said a sorry for not asking you directly about this

Sanyu-oh its ok...(smiles) does it looks like it matters to him(looking at all excited samar)

Karan(chuckling)-right, ok then we are going, you are going to the college today, aren't you?

Sanyu-yes I am

Karan-how are you going, do you want me to send a car or smt

Sanyu-oh no no its ok

Vids(coming from the kitchen)-don't worry...I will take her, I've brought my car

Karan-good then...bye sanyukta, bye vidhushi

Vids and sanyu-bye

Sanyu closes the door and looks at vids surprised

Vids-what?

Sanyu-I don't know what's with my brother and the more I think the more I get confused about his behavior

Vids(walking in followed by sanyu)-to tell you the truth, even I am amazed at this...I mean it's a whole new samar

Sanyu- exactly yaar, he has never been this open to anyone and with rd sir he is like eagerly waiting for him, you know something, in these three days all that I've heard from my brother is how much he is missing rd sir, he talks about rd sir more than he talks about our parents

Vids-but it's a good thing yaar, atleast he is opening up

Sanyu-but I am afraid vids, what will happen when rd sir is not around, its not like he is gonna stay forever with him(her heart sinks but she brushes it off)

Vids-don't think like that sanyu, and its not just him that is changing(winks)

Sanyu-what? You talking about me?

Vids nods

Sanyu-cmon vids....i am the same

Vids(grabs sanyu's bag and keys)-yeah right, now will you just move...we don't want to get late...everyone is waiting for you

Sanyu-ahh...about that, I am surprised why anyone except you didn't come to meet me.

They lock the door and step out

Vids(getting inside the car)-becoz they don't know where you live

Sanyu(getting on the passenger's seat)-what? Really...but I thought you told them

Vids(she starts driving)-I don't know why but bhai told me not to tell anyone where you are staying atleast till he is back

Sanyu-huh! But why?

Vids just shrugs her shoulder

Vids-and you know something dev actually killed me for not telling him(winks)

Sanyu gives her a you-are-impossible look

Vids-what! He loves you sanyu

Sanyu(serious)-but I don't vids, end of discussion

Vids(murmers)-it wasn't even a discussion(pouts)

They reach college and sanyu could see the rest of her friends waiting for her eagerly and as soon as they see her they engulf her into a group hug

Sanyu-guys...you are choking me

Kaustu-omg sanyu...it feels like ages since I've seen you(hugs her) how are you honey?

Sanyu(hugging back)-I am fine kaustu(smiles)

One by one both jigs and parth hug her and then dev comes and engulfs her into a warm and loving hug

Dev(giving a soft sigh)-I am glad that you are here(he breaks the hug and kisses her forehead for which the rest of the group makes a "o" face while sanyu just stands there not knowing what to do) don't worry me from now on(she just nods)

Sanyu(awkwardly)-so...amm guys lets go then

She starts walking and dev puts his hand around her shoulder and starts walking and the rest of them walk behind them, they reach the classroom and sanyu finally breaths when dev leaves her and goes and sits on his seat

The bell goes off and everyone settle on their seats and girls were very excited as it was rd's class but to everyone's dismay...it was pkc who came instead.

Kaustu-huh!! Where is rd sir, I thought he was coming today

Vids-maybe he just stopped, I heard that harsh uncle is not well that's why he went on this business meeting

Dev(from the seat behind them, yawning)-who cares, I just want to sleep

Jiggy-eyy...no dev bhai, you are saying this because you've not attended rd sir's class....there is no chance of falling asleep when he is teaching

Parth-yes yaar...he is soo gifted when it comes to teaching

Here sanyu was just listening to everyone and the thought of him not coming here was not so pleasing for her

Here after receiving a warm welcome from a very excited samar, rd was back at home, yes he was at shekhwat mansion finally, he steps out of the bathroom dressed in some warm track pants and a tank tee, and drying his dripping hair with a towel, he keeps the towel on the chair and takes the file that was on his table, it was the file his dad gave him before he went to china but every time he tried reading it, something within him stopped him from doing that, so he takes the file and keeps it in the drawer of his wardrobe

His phone rings and he picks up

Rd-hello

Caller-hello, rd its me maya dean of FITE

Rd-ahh...yes hello mam, how are you, I am so sorry for asking leave suddenly

Maya-that's ok rd, I cant keep a businessman away from his business, right?

Rd(smiling)-right

Maya-so I called just to ask you, when can you resume the classes

Rd-right, about that, I think it will take another week,I hope its ok

Maya-oh yes, that's totally fine. ok then rd see you next week

Rd-sure, see you mam.

He hangs up and dadi knock and come into his room

Rd-hey girlfriend, missed me

Dadi comes and pulls at his ear

Rd-ahhh.. cmon gf this is how you say you missed me

Dadi-yes, because you always trouble me, you stubborn little kid

Rd(laughing and hugging her)-sorry gf, I know I trouble you a lot but I know you still love me

Dadi(smiling)-accha accha ok, so going to college or not

Rd makes her sit on the bed and lies down with his head on her lap and she caresses his hair

Rd-no, I have some other things to do before this project starts, so will go after a week

Dadi-and what about that girl

Rd-which girl dadi

Dadi-arrey, that girl Karan was talking about, what was her name..yeah sanyukta, what about her

Rd(closes his eyes)-what about her dadi, nothing, she is my student, after six months I wont even see her

Dadi( a bit sadly)-why? I thought you liked her

Rd(still eyes closed)-I still do, but there are a lot of problems, so I've just decided to let her go.

Dadi-what problems? Is it because she is your student?

Rd just nods in a no

Dadi-age?

Rd-that could be one of them..but there are things more than that dadi.

Dadi-remember one thing rd, nothing matters as long as you can love that person till you breath...nothing at all matters..and me and your dadu are the example...so don't let her go for any silly reasons

Rd-I am still trying to figure out if its just a liking or I really do love her, coz with her I cant act on my instincts on this matter.

Dadi(smiling)- and still you say you are trying to figure out, ok then as you wish, I was just eager to meet her that's it

Rd(smiling)-you will love her

Dadi-I know, since you do, ok so go to sleep and take some rest, I'll call you once the lunch is ready

Rd-ahh about that(getting up)I have to give mr. harsh the meeting report(picks up a file) and I have a meeting about our mall this evening too dadi

Dadi-so will you be here for dinner

Rd-I'll tell you, I'll call once the meeting is over

He goes to harsh's study but to his surprise, harsh was not there , he asks dadi and she tells him that harsh went to the office

Rd-Mr. harsh can't atleast for once listen to me, I told him to rest for a week atleast...but no he want to show people that he is the only person who can handle everything

He gets dressed up and goes to the office and the jet lag was taking a toll on him, he reaches the office and goes to harsh's office

Harsh-yes rd, tell me how as the meeting

Rd-it went well SIR, and here are the deal papers, we've got this project

Harsh-I knew that you will definitely get this deal beta, I am proud of you

Rd-(awkwardly)-how are you?

Harsh(taken off guard)-ahh, I.... I am fine rd, how are you feeling?

Rd-as if I am suffering from heart ailment, why don't you just rest for a week, I can handle things here, or do you think that I am not enough

Harsh-its not that rd, its not just H&R now, I have to look into SANYAL industries too, and with you not being around and your uncle not at all interested in business, everything is a mess.(pressing his forehead while looking at a file)

Rd(taking the file that was in front of him)-just go, I'll look into that too

Harsh-no no rd, its ok you've just came from china, you are jet lagged, just go and take some rest

Rd-I said I am fine, so pls just go, Chaudhry uncle(harsh's pa come) pls call mr. harsh's car to take him back home

Chaudhry looks at harsh and he helplessly nods and Chaudhry goes from there

Harsh-that meeting at our mall this evening...

Rd(cutting him off)-I will be attending that too and you have to go to the hospital today at 5, I've told raj to make the appointment and ofcourse he will be with you and he WILL tell me EVERYTHING that the doctor says, so it doesn't matters if you tell me or not.

Rd goes to his cabin after picking up the file that harsh was reading before.

Soon it was evening and after helping kaustu to get ready for her blind date, they go to sanyu's house where samar was working on his project

Sanyu-hey baby bro

Vids-hey chuze

Samar glares at vids and sanyu

Vids-met your rd sir?

Samar(proudly)-yes and he has promised me that he will help me out starting tomorrow

Sanyu(looking at his model)-I don't think you need anymore help with that

Samar(offended)-ofcourse I need, its not even complete

Vids(slumming back in the sofa)-or you just want to be with rd bhai for no particular reason

Samar-its not me who must feel like that

Sanyu-really? Then who should feel like that

Samar-ofcourse his girlfriend

Sanyu(not knowing that she was sounding hasty)-he has one?

Samar(looking down at his model)-nah...he is too busy for all that(looking up at sanyu)and sis do you think that any girl will be good enough for him

Sanyu-yeah yeah, whatever

Vids-rd bhakt(folding hands in front of samar)

Sanyu-vids I'll be back after changing

Vids-k(she starts helping samar in his project by doing some of the connections)

Sanyu changes into a pink shirt and white jeggings, she leaves her hair open and she grabs her bag and walks out, after saying goodbye to samar and making sure that the door is perfectly locked they sit in vids car and and drive to the mall, on the way to the mall vids phone has been continuously ringing and she wasn't even looking at it, on reaching the parking lot sanyu finally asks

Sanyu-whats the matter vids?

Vids-what? What are you talking about sanyu

Sanyu-really you still think that you can fool me?

Vids-ok fine, dad has got some guests at home, and you know na, that he always tries to just set me up with anyone of his friend's sons

Sanyu-so this was not just a night out, you were running haan?(vids nods)but vids your phone has been ringing restlessly,I think that you should pick it up once

Vids-hmm

As soon as they were done,her phone again rings and this time vids picks up

Her mom-beta, where were you, do you know how many time I called you
vids- mom, I am not coming home until dad's friends are gone, pls dont force me

Mom-beta, they are gone, I called you to tell you that your dad fell from the steps

Vids(tensed)-what!!!when? how is he...did you take him to the hospital?

Mom-yes I did, his right leg got fractured

Vids-mom I am coming right now

She cuts the call and sanyu asks her and vids tell her what her mom told her

Vids-I am sorry sanyu, but I need to go

Sanyu-no yaar..you have to go, in fact even I am coming, lets go

Vids-no sanyu, you have an interview, and I know how much it matters to you, you just go and attend, its ok..i will

Sanyu-but vids

Vids-no but wut...get out now, don't be late...love you

Sanyu(getting down)-I love you too...call me once you reach.

Vids-yes, but how will you go back

Sanyu- don't take tension, I'll manage, you just go

Vids goes from there and sanyu goes into the mall and she locates the shop, it was a boutique and they decide to keep her as the part time worker

She walks out of the shop and was going to the escalator when samar calls and asks her to bring him a pizza.

Sanyu goes to dominos and takes her order and comes out but she stops when she sees someone she was least expecting to see.

She sees rd stepping out of the elevator dressed in a three piece suit and he was looking exactly like the his pictures on the magazine covers, today he was looking like a businessman and not a teacher but he was not alone, there were two three other men dressed just like him, she knew that he had seen her, she don't know why but when he glanced at her she stopped there as if he told her to, he talks with them for a few more minutes, they shake hands and the other men leave and as if coming back from a spell she starts to move but rd calls her

Rd-hello sanyukta

Sanyu-hello sir

Rd-how are you...you went for the check up after that

Sanyu-I am fine sir, so I didn't go

Rd-oh

Sanyu was looking at his tired face, those bags under his eyes which were not so visible from afar but when he was standing in front of her were very clear shows how tired he was..and it looks like he got a bit thinner

Sanyu(in mind)-how stupid you are sanyu, how can a person get thinner in 3 days.

Rd-so why are you here, shopping?

Sanyu(smiling)-no sir, I lost my work at the supermarket, but I got a part time job here at the boutique

Rd-oh k right(rubbing his eyes) I am sorry to ask you this, and you are free to deny, I was about to call karan, but can you go with me for a cup of coffee...I just hate having it alone and I am feeling really sleepy

Sanyu-amm yeah sure sir, its ok

They move to the café

Sanyu-amm, sir...you sit I'll place the order

Rd-no its ok sanyukta, I will

Sanyu-no sir, pls I insist.

Rd finally sits on the seat and sanyu goes and stands on the queue to place the order, he was sitting there holding onto his head and when he looks up he sees a guy who was standing behind her was standing too close for rd's liking and he could see that even sanyukta was feeling uncomfortable, not thinking for another second he stands from where he was sitting and walks to her and stands behind her pushing the guy a little back, sanyu with a shocked expression looks behind her only to breathe a sigh on seeing rd, she was about to say something but rd cuts her off

Rd-I was feeling sleepy sitting there(sanyu just nods)

They reach the counter and before rd could tell her she orders a black coffee without sugar for rd, she takes the coffee and hands it to rd before rd could pay she pays for the coffee

Rd-you not having anything?

Sanyu-no sir

Rd(to the guy at the counter)-give me three chocolate tarts

Sanyu-sir its ok

Rd-its for samar, after eating pizza he will ask for something sweet, he did that the last time we had pizza at karan's place.

Sanyu-oh...but he never did that when he is with me

Rd pays for the tarts and they go out and sit at one of the benches in the corridor

Sanyu-sir, why were you here?

Rd(sipping at his coffee)-ahh, actually I had a meeting with a fashion brand, they want to open a shop here

Sanyu-so this mall comes under H&R, I thought, H&R was all about machines and vehicles

Rd(smiles)-actually we are, but you know Renuka singh shekhawat, my mom, before marriage she was Renuka Sanyal

Sanyu-ohh...Sanyal group with chain of malls all around the world

Rd-right. The same, she really wanted to do the same under the name of H&R... and that's how this mall was constructed, my dad's gift for my mom,(looking around the mall) this was the first project that I handled, I did something that was not related to machines for the first time, just for my mom, but she never got to see it.

Sanyu could feel his voice getting shaky, so she slowly forwards her hand and keeps it onto his and caresses it.

Sanyu- I know how does it feels to loose someone so dear to you, but we have to go on for the people around us, who love us and that's what your mother would want from you(gives a slight smile)

Rd looks at her hand on his and then looks at her and blinks away a tear, nods and smiles

Rd(standing up)-come sanyukta, I'll drop you home

Sanyu-no sir, its ok I will take the bus

Rd-there is no way I am letting you go on a bus this late, so lets go

Sanyu-yes sir

They start walking and reach the parking area and sit in the car

Sanyu-amm...sir you did a nice job with the mall, I am sure your mom is very proud of you, wherever she is ( smiles)

Rd-thank you sanyukta

She nods and they drive off to sanyu's house, on reaching she steps out of the car but before she could even ring the bell, the door opens and samar comes running towards rd's car

Samar-hello rd sir, how are you?

Rd-hey champ, I am good, how is your project going?

Samar-its going well

Rd(rubbing his temples)-good, I will look at it tomorrow

Samar-sure, di you got my pizza

Sanyu(giving him the pizza)-here

Rd-and here are your tarts

Samar(smiling)-thank you sir

Rd(ruffling his hair)-its ok champ, ok then I'll leave now

Sanyu-amm...sir I think you should drink another coffee, you are looking very sleepy

Rd-no sanyukta, its ok I am fine

Sanyu-no sir, its not good to drive like this, pls come inside

Samar-yes sir, you really look tired

Rd-ok

He steps out of the car and the trio walk in, rd takes off his coat and sits on the sofa and samar sits on the other sofa and switches on the tv for rd, while sanyu walks into the kitchen to make coffee

Now that he was sitting, rd could feel how tired he was and how hard his eyes were trying to close and a sleeping samar on the other sofa was not helping him at all, slowly he rests his head on the arm rest of the sofa, thinking to give his heavy head a relief, but his eyelids give up and he rests his feet on the other arm rest and he didn't even care to remove his shoes and soon he was fast asleep.

Here sanyu comes with a cup of coffee, but the scene in front of her made her heart melt and deep down she wanted her life to be something like this

Samar was curled up on the small sofa, but still sleeping soundly while rd was sleeping on the bigger one fully stretched out with his legs hanging out still wearing shoes and tie

She nods her head and smiles, keeps the coffee on the table and wakes up samar

Samar(still a bit sleepy)-what?

Sanyu-shhhh....go bring a blanket

Samar(wispers)-ok

He brings a blanket and sanyu covers rd with it while samar removes his shoes and rd didn't even move which shows how tired he was.

They were about to go when they hear a phone ringing

Samar-I think its sir's

Sanyu-where is it?

Samar-I think its in his coat's pocket

Sanyu takes it out and it was flashing "gf calling"

Sanyu-its his gf

Samar-pick it up di.

Sanyu-no I cant, what will she think

Samar-arrey its not real gf, its his dadi

Sanyu(confused)-what? How do you know that

Samar-yeah, I know because he had told me once, will you just pick it up now

Sanyu-then you pick it up(giving him the phone)

Samar(giving back the phone)-no you pick it up

Sanyu(defeated)-hello

Dadi-ammm....who is this?

Sanyu-amm....i am rd sir's...amm(not knowing what to say) student?

Dadi-sanyukta?

Sanyu(surprised)-amm yes

Dadi-ahhh...how are you beta?

Sanyu-I am fine aunty, actually rd sir is asleep, I mean he came in to drink a cup of coffee because he was looking really tired and he fell asleep, he will leave once he wakes up, amm do you want me to wake him up

Dadi-no no beta, its ok let him sleep, he didn't even sleep after coming from china and he was really jet lagged....i just wanted to know where he was, now that he is there I am relieved

Sanyu-ok aunty

Dadi-oh pls sanyukta, call me dadi only, so in which year you are

Sanyu-third year dadi

Dadi-oh right, rd told me, you are with chinky ahh I mean vidhushi

Sanyu-yes dadi

Dadi-beta visit me sometime with chinky, ok...I really want to meet you

Sanyu(confused)-ammm actually dadi, I don't know if you remember or not, but we've met once

Dadi(excited)-really? Where?

Sanyu-at the supermarket, you remember, you and sir helped me when the manager scolded me

Dadi(as if remembering)-ahh riiiightttt, so you are that girl...but anyways...you should come someday

Sanyu-sure dadi

Dadi-ok then..its getting late, you should sleep too and tell samar that I would love to meet him too

Samar signals her asking whats happening?

Sanyu(shrugging her shoulder)-sure dadi

Dadi-good night beta

Sanyu-good night dadi

she hangs up and looks at a eagerly waiting samar

Sanyu-she knows both of us

Samar-he might have told her, good night di(goes to his room)

Sanyu-good night

Sanyu stands there wonderingly looking at a calmly sleeping rd. 

so guys...here is the next part

I was really tired when i started writing this and i am feeling really sleepy so i just thought to add a sleepy rd here because i know how it feels and i thought its best to write it when you know how it feels ;)

so he slept at sanyu's place, what do you wanna say about that?
