There had been three akumas in the same week.

Meaning Marinette and Adrien were exhausted.

Of course Alya and Nino noticed their best friends odd behaviour during school, and tried to keep their friends from falling asleep in class.

Come lunchtime the four went to the park to eat lunch, and not too long after Adrien and Marinette fell asleep.

To the two bespeckled teens amusement however, Adrien and Marinette were curled up into each other, Marinette's arms wrapped around his torso, nuzzling Adrien's neck while Adrien's arms were wrapped around Marinette's waist.

Did they take pictures of the two cuddling ? Of course they did. What ? It could be used for future teasing ...

Halfway into their lunch break Alya and Nino woke their friends while recording them on their phones.

Adrien was the first one to wake up to snickering and he looked at the two bespeckled teens confused and sleepily asked where Marinette was before Alya gestured for him to look down and he blushed and stared at Marinette who was fast asleep, and he had to resist the urge to coo at how adorable she looked at the moment

When Marinette woke up she nearly jumped five feet in the air and started firing apologies at Adrien with a bright red blush saying that she was having trouble sleeping lately.

Adrien just gave a sleepy chuckle and reassured her that it was fine and that he was having sleeping troubles too and that he didn't mind that she basically cuddled with him.

Of course Plagg's gonna tease him for this later ...

Alya and Nino laughed when Adrien yawned, stood up and stretched before sleepily grinning at Marinette

" Did your little catnap help Princess ? " he asked

Marinette looked at him with a puzzled expression before wrinkling her nose adorably at the cat pun " Not you too ... " she whined

All the way back, Adrien kept spouting cat puns while Marinette was telling him to stop, but was fighting a smile.

Who knew that the boy that I fell in love with was a complete dork ? Marinette thought.

Who knew that channeling Chat Noir as Adrien would help Marinette open up more with me ? We're Adrien's thoughts.

Alya and Nino shared a look that said ' our friends are weird ' as they followed the two other teens back to school.
