《 the officer in the glass box 》
Blue and white squares stood before the four teenagers as they arrived at the Police Station. Marinette and Adrien turned towards their friends after grinning to each other at their plan. "We need to be as stealthy as possible." Marinette whispered towards Alya and Nino.
"It sounds like you've got a plan," Alya stated, "Care to share it with us?"
Adrien grinned.

Sliding against the walls, the two superheroes glowed down the police stations halls with ease. As if they have done this plenty times before.
Once they reached the end of the hall, a glass box appeared to their right, a humble officer dressed in navy blue snoring away as he dreamed. He was obviously dreaming of something he liked because a small, sleepy smile was planted on his face. Maybe he was dreaming of doughnuts. (🍩 ;))
In front of the two teen heroes was a heavy-looking metal door with the sign "LONG-TERM JAIL". Due to the high-tech steel lock embedded into the door, Marinette knew it was locked.
One nudged of her shoulder against Adrien's was all it took for him to start his search of finding a key.
The officer's snoring reverberated throughout the small but high-celinged hallway which was a charm of echoes.
Meaning they had to be quiet.
Then the snoring stopped. Their heads snapped towards the glass box. His eyes were still shut. The tension dissipated from the two superheroes shoulders and before Marinette turned her attention on the the walls or any floor mats that she could find, her particularly sharp sight caught onto the silver hanging around the cops neck.
The key. It must be.
Using one of the many quiet vocal signals that the two came up with throughout the years of fighting crime together, Marinette caught Adrien's attention.
Gesturing over to the cop and pointing to her neck, Adrien smiled before creeping over to the box and sliding his long thin arm into the opening of the glass, delicately hooking a finger around the chain of the cops neck and yanking it down.
The chain snapped. But the cop stirred. Adrien stood like one of the statues in the Museum across the street and waited for the cop to awaken.
But he didn't. Adrien snaked him arm back through the opening in the glass and ran towards Marinette, a large cat-like grin spreading on to his face.
Marinette was not impressed. "You do realise that the chain was long enough to pull up over his head?"
"Oh."
"Mm." Marinette paused before smiling, "Good job, kitty."
Adrien smiled gleefully, running over to the door and unlocking it with the key. Urging his arms to pull the heavy metal door, it turned out to be a slow process, as the fear of the loud scraping sound of the bottom of the door on the floor was going to wake up the officer in the glass box. But he just slept through his Neck being partially sliced so... it's fair to say he is a deep sleeper.
Once Adrien hauled the door open so it was big enough for Marinette and him to go through the two superheroes faced a pitch black room.
Full of bored and likely blood-thirsty criminals. Oh God. Marinette thought.
