On March 19, 378 HE

As Kirito and P/N  woke up in a forest but in a different locations

-With Kirito-

"What the hell.....? Where am I?! I remember being at Agil's place...... then I left with Asuna.... but I can't remember what happened next....?~ "Gasp" "My clothes.....? Am I.... in a game right now...? Command.... Logout......" Kirito tried to use a System Command and tried to logout but it didn't do anything. "Way too realistic to be a 3D object.... so this ain't a game.... am I dreaming?~ Wait! That's it! This is the underworld! I'm hooked up to the STL but that can't be right, diving in the STL...? My memories of the real world should be blocked and I can still remember hanging out with Asuna and Sinon?" As Kirito tried to figure out what's going on, he tried calling out Kikouka and the others but nothing happened.

-With P/N-

"Mmm....." P/N starts to opening up his eyes a little bit. "W-What the..?!" P/N wakes up. "What the living hell....?! Where am I?! This is a forest....? Wait?!~ Yuuki! Yuuki!!! Are you here!!!" As P/N shouted, no one or anything else responded. "Wait?! I.... I remember hanging out with Yuuki.... then something else happened but I don't remember what happened next?! Crap!!!" P/N begins walking... then for a couple more minutes later.... he felt something... like he remembered something. "W-Why am I feeling like.... I know this place....?~ Woah?! Is this.... a dream that I had that night?!?!?! About me, Kirito and the others?! And Alice was taking away by a Knight?! Or I'm just losing my mind!" P/N said as he heard a whacking sound. "What was that sound?!" P/N said as he was headed towards that sound

WHACKED!!!!!

As Kirito and P/N had walked towards the light and they both sees a huge tree~

Then before they walked towards the tree, P/N had spotted Kirito

"Huh?!?! Is that...... Kazuto~ No Kirito!!" P/N spotted him as Kirito saw him as well

"Wait?! Is that....Y/N.....no wait.... P/N?!" Kirito said as he saw P/N walking towards him

"Kazuto?! Kazuto is that you?!" P/N said as he ran towards him

"Y/N?!" Kirito said

"It is you Kazuto!!" P/N said as he finally see Kazuto

"Y/N!! It's actually you!! How did you dive into the Underworld?!" Kirito said as P/N raised his eyebrow

"Huh?! Underworld?! What you talking about?! What Underworld?!" P/N said

"Oh! This is a long story~

"So....? This isn't a dream?!" P/N said

"No! This is STL.... this is like a virtual reality world." Kirito said

"Awe?! But I did a dream just like this and I did see you in it?! And there were these two other people that were there with us?! I guess that means we were in this Underworld the whole time!" P/N said

"So? You had a dream just like this and you seen me in it?" Kirito ask

"Yeah! I didn't see Akira... Soma... Aoi... Asuna... Yuuki.... or anyone else.... it's just me and you and two other people....." P/N said

"It's like you seen a foresight in your dream?! And now we're here." Kirito said

"Yeah and do you know how to get us out of here?" P/N said

"Well.... I tried using the command and logout but none of that work and I tried to get Kikouka and the others to get me out but I guess they don't hear us." Kirito said

"Awe?! But wait.... how am I here?! Diving in this STL.... and Kikouka has something to do with this?! And I don't remember anything except... I was hanging out with Yuuki and then I can't remember anything else." P/N said

"Same here when I was with Asuna and Sinon.... I can't really describe it how and why that we can remember the real life memories.... it was supposed to be blocked but I really don't know." Kirito said

"Awe?! Well... I guess we're gonna be stuck in this Underworld for a while." P/N said

"Yeah, you're right." Kirito agrees

"And let's look at this big tree right here." P/N said as he ran towards the tree and Kirito followed him.

"This tree... is so familiar....? Kirito said

"Yeah..... it's like that tree I saw in my dream that time.... where you and I~

As P/N stopped speaking as he saw someone sitting down on the ground and Kirito noticed as well, both P/N and Kirito grabbed tries to grab their sword but they noticed they don't got any weapons as a force of habit. Then the person spoke

"Who are you two? Are you guys from around here?"

"Is he that.... same boy that I saw in my dream?!" P/N thought to himself

"Is he a tester like me and P/N or is he an NPC?" Kirito thought to himself as he moved forward

"Do you have a name?"

"Should we revealed our real life names?!~

"Oh! Yeah I got one.... it's Kirito." Kirito said as Y/N was going through his plan

"And I'm.... P/N." P/N said

"Kirito.... and P/N...."

"I came from the forest over there." Kirito said

"And same thing with me but in a different location and we're.... not sure where we are or anything." P/N said

"The forest?! Oh you came from the South Kirito and you can from the West P/N and did you two walk away the from Zakaria?"

"No... we don't know.... it's like... we don't know how we even got here.... we can't remember." Kirito said

"What?! Then where do you two live? Can you remember the name of the town?"

"No... everything's a blank. We woke up and we were in the forest." P/N said

"I heard stories but I never thought I'd meet a real live lost children of Vechta, I can't believe it."

"What's a "Vechta"?" Kirito and P/N said

"Wait?! Isn't that what they're called where you guys from? When someone disappeared from a village then suddenly turns up in a forest or field that's what they're called a child of Vechta. The Dark God Vechta likes to prank humans by snatching them up, stealing their memories and plopping them down somewhere far from home."

"Oh! I guess that must have been what happened to the both of us." P/N said

"His responses are way too natural for an NPC. We'll try the direct approach." Kirito thought to himself

"Anyway..... we're kind of stuck so~ We want to leave!" Kirito said

"Yeah.... we're not trying to rush or anything, we just wanna leave." P/N added

"I'm sure you two do..... I think I know how to help you two. The forest is huge ya don't easy to get lost in, though I can show you guys a path that leads north as long as stick to it~

"Um... Sorry. We want to logout now!" Kirito said as he interrupts Eugeo

"Log out?! What does that mean?!"

"Wha?! For real?!" P/N was surprise

"Dammit! It's a slang, you know it's like faster way of saying that I need a place to stay." Kirito said

"Really?! I never heard that one before!"

"Great.... he's not in our generation all right." P/N said to himself

"He could be a tester but if he is, his memories are definitely blocked." Kirito said to himself

"Ok! We're sorry for interrupting you.... could you show us a town or a village or so?" P/N ask

"There's a village is called Rulid and it's beyond those trees. We don't get many travelers so there's no in. I think if we go to the church and explain your situations to Sister Rosalia... she might agree to put you two up."

"Awe cool! We'll just go to your village and talk to her." P/N said as he and Kirito began to head to the village but he stopped them

"W-Wait a moment!"

"What's up?" P/N said

"You two are strangers in these parts, I don't think that guard set the gate are going to let you in so easily. You know what, if I go with you two and talk to them, they should understand."

"That'd be great of you did, thanks a lot!" Kirito said

"Hmm?! But I can't go yet, I have to finish my work first and I won't be done for another 4 hours."

"Really?! Well... we can wait for ya." P/N said

"Yeah! We don't mind, we can wait that is as long as it's okay with you?" Kirito added

"Of course! Have a seat anywhere you like and I'll get to work~ Oh! I haven't told you my name did I?!

"No."

"My name is Eugeo. How you two do?" Eugeo introduces himself

"Eugeo!! I remember him!!" P/N said as he'd remembered Eugeo in his dream

"Eugeo? Sounds familiar?" Kirito said

"What's Kirito and P/N?" Eugeo said

"Nothing?" Kirito shakes hand

"Same here." Then Deku also shakes his hand as well

Then for a while, they began eating... then Eugeo has draw a "S" and Kirito and P/N know this is VR world and

"Well here goes~

BITE!!!

"Holy!!!!!~/"Oh Crap~"

"Ughh!! Man!!" P/N had ate the bread half way

"It's not very good... but I get them from the bakery every morning on my way here but so early they only have day-old bread and I don't have time to come back at noon for fresh ones." Eugeo said

"That sucks! Do you have time to make lunch or have someone else make it?" Kirito asked

"Oh! Well actually someone used to bring me my lunch every day but that was years ago... oh well." Eugeo said

"So...? Why'd they stop?" P/N ask

"She was my childhood friend.... she was the same age as me.... when we were little we played together all the time and after I received my calling she would bring me lunch every day without fail.... but then because of me... the two of us went to explore a cave up north and by accident she crossed the bounder into the Dark Territory.... a place without no human is allowed to enter even the Taboo Index forbids it!~

"The Taboo Index?!" Kirito thought

"Wait?! I know that!! I've seen that happen in my dream!!" P/N thought to himself

"The next day an Integrity Knight came to our village.... and he took her to Centauri to be executed but I still believe she's still alive Kirito and P/N.... I know it.... somewhere in Centauri.... Alice is alive." Eugeo said

"Alice!! That girl!" P/N remember Alice in his dream as well

"Alice?! I know that..... Alice~

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to dump all that on you two, I know we three just met and all but it feels like we're old friends." Eugeo said

"Yeah.... it doesn't "feel" like it alright." P/N said

"And we don't mind. So.... why don't you go find her? Go to Centauri or whatever, see if she's there even?" Kirito ask

"Even if I had the fastest horse in the land, it would take a week to get there from here then." Eugeo said

"Throw some clothes and food in a bag and walk." Kirito said

"If I could do that I would but I can't... I'll just abandon on my calling, The Taboo Index forbids it, you know that." Eugeo said

"Oh right, you got a point." Kirito said

"Um? Sorry to be nosy but about how long ago did all of this happen anyway?" P/N asked a question

"It was my 11th summer, Six years ago. Want some water?" Eugeo said as he offers some water and handed over to Kirito.

"Oh! Thanks, maybe later." Kirito said as he gave the water to P/N

"Hah! Don't mind if I do." P/N said as he drunk some water.

"Well lunch is over, so I better get back to work. I still have to meet my quota for today." Eugeo said

"We'll just kick back until you're finish then. By the way your "calling" what is it?" Kirito ask

"You'll see, it's not very exciting." Eugeo said

Then later

THUD!!!!!!!!!

"So like your callings to chop down trees?" P/N ask

"Yeah. Officially my tittles supposed to be "Woodcutter", the problem is I haven't cut down a single tree in seven years since I received my calling." Eugeo said

"What!!"

"Get out!!"

"My job is to work on this tree and it's called "The Giga Cedar" but the villagers call it something else though~ the "Demon Tree" they called it that because it sucks up alter areas blessings from the land around it. Rulid has always wanted to planet more wheat fields but as long as this is here, nothing good will grow. The village had that Dragon Bone Axe from the Capital and appointed a woodcutter to work on it every day until the tree came down~ that's my job." Eugeo said

"So.... for the past 7 years now, you've been chopping away at it? After all that time.... that's as far as you got?" Kirito said

"Hardly. I'm actually a seventh generation woodcutter. That's our calling someone's been chopping away on it every single day for the past 300 years in fact." Eugeo said

"For 300 Years?!" Kirito and P/N said unison

"Wait?! So that means in my dream.... Eugeo, Kirito and I have this calling to chop down this Giga Cedar Tree?! And we're the 7th Generation woodcutters?! Heh..... I bet if the three of us chopping this tree together it will still be the same as it right now or just a little bit deeper." P/N said to himself

"Hey Eugeo." Kirito said

"Hm?"

"Do you mind if I take a crack at it." Kirito said

"Huh?!"

"Well... you did give us almost all of your lunch didn't you? It would be fair that we should pick up half of your work." Kirito said

"Yeah! We could return the favor by helping you out with this strong Giga Cedar Tree." P/N added

"Oh I don't know.... The Taboo Index doesn't say I can't have someone or two can help even though it is my calling and all. You two can try it but it's much harder than it looks." Eugeo said

"Well....we won't know until we try~

"No way to prove, just follow." P/N said his catchphrase

"Huh?! No way to prove... just follow through?" Eugeo was confused

"Eh? I'll tell you later." P/N said

"Well here goes nothing." Kirito said as he walked up towards the tree and ready to swing

"HAAAA!!!!"

THUD!!!!

"Woah!" P/N said as he saw Kirito dropped the axe

"AHH!!" Kirito was in pain as his hands started to hurt then Eugeo laughed. "You don't have to laugh that hard." Kirito said

"I'm sorry about that. You put way too much tension into your shoulders and hips. Relax and let the momentum do the work for you." Eugeo said

"All right then, let me give it a try." P/N said as he grabbed the axe. "But he's right~

"This is a virtual world... it's not about my real ability but our avatars." Kirito and P/N said in their own thoughts

"Okay..... Sword Skill: Smash!!!"

SWIFT!!!!

"HAAAA!!!"

THUDDED!!!!!!!

"Whoa! That's a nice hit! Go on give it another shot before you forget." Eugeo said

"All right then! Here it comes!!"

-Later in the afternoon-

"And....... 50!!!!!"

THUD!!

"Okay! That's about 1,000 Strikes." Eugeo said as P/N was surprised

"Wait what?! That's how many we did today?!" P/N said

"Yep! 250 for Kirito, 250 for me and 500 to you.... since you wanted to do more than us anyway and from 1,000 I did this morning that's 2,000 Strikes total. That's the daily quota for my calling." Eugeo said

"You two are a natural at this. Thanks to you two's skill, I had an easy day today." Eugeo said

"I don't know about that. I bet you would have had it cut down by now if we wasn't here messing around." P/N said

"Think so? Then you two need to see something!" Eugeo said as he show Kit and P/N something

"Seriously?!"

"It has only gone down by about 50 since last month, that's normal actually. It's a strong tree so what if we didn't make it a lot of progress today, in the end it doesn't really make much of a difference at all." Eugeo said

"Only 50 huh?! Just like that last moment we just had right now?! Deja Vū alright." P/N said

"C'mon let's go." Eugeo said as he puts the Axe away but Kirito said something

"Wait! You forgot to lock it." Kirito said

"What for?!" Eugeo said

"What do you mean?! Someone could steal it." Kirito said

"Now who would do that?! It clearly states in the Taboo Index that theft is forbidden remember?" Eugeo said

"Right! Force of habit." P/N said

"Well come on. I'll show you two the village." Eugeo said as he'd lead the village

"H-Hey wait up!" Kirito said

"Same here!" P/N said

As the three of them had finally made it through the gate.... as the guy asked Eugeo if Kirito and Deku are his friends, then he'd introduced them to him and beloved they're the Child of Vechta and then~

"Is it true? You two can't remember anything?"

"No...." Kirito said

"Same here pal." P/N said

"Did you two forget about your callings?"

"Yeah~ I guess." Kirito said

"Same." P/N said

"It was probably a lousy callings anyway.... bet it was lame as Eugeo's calling. He got one of the most pointless callings in all the land~

"Hey!!" P/N said as he interrupts him."At least Eugeo has a calling to begin with! He work his butt out for it so long and he'd never even once of slacked off on his calling. So you shouldn't even say his calling is lame. I'd bet his calling is better than yours!" P/N said as he defended Eugeo

"Oh really?! Well big mouth! What's your calling?!~

"A Swordsman! That's our calling man! We're both a Swordsman~ Me and P/N!" Kirito said in a cool and calmly way

"A two swordsman huh?! Two strong, weak looking pipsqueaks like you two. You two can't even lift up a sword."

"Don't underestimate us pal! Just because we look like this, doesn't mean we're not strong enough to AT LEAST! Pick up a sword!" P/N said

"Hmph! Ok then, how about you two prove to me right now with this sword."

"Hmph! No problem! I'll go first Kirito." P/N said as he nodded in agreement

Then as P/N has a sword in his hand and was ready to slash a wooden log

"Ok! Let's see how this goes?" P/N said as take his fighting stance~

STOMP!!

"HAAAAA!!!"

SLASHED!!!

GRINDING!! SLID FALL!!!

As P/N took a slash against the wood~

"Incredible! That's a light effect! This world has Sword Skills!!" P/N said to himself

"Woah! That was amazing! I didn't know you have skills like that?!" Eugeo was amazed. "Maybe you were a sentinel in some big city." Eugeo said

"I don't know about that. But Zinc! Now you think we're still "Two strong, weak looking pipsqueaks" now?!" P/N said as he looked stupid now

"Crap!!" Zinc said

"And Zinc? Can you let Kirito and P/N in? I'd liked to show them around the village now?" Eugeo said as Zinc allowed Kirito and P/N inside the village.

As Eugeo had showed Kirito and P/N around the village, get to see different people, etc. Then as they finally made their destination to see Sister Celia. Then as Eugeo knocked on the door, she approached them... kinda strictly a bit and then they saw a girl looking at them. Then a bit later~

"Here. I brought you two pillows and blankets. 6 o'clock. Breakfast is at 7. I'll come to check on you two but please try to get up on time. Do not be late for prayers, you two do not want to make Sister Celia mad. Also we have a curfew after lights out so mind that~ "Spotted some kids"

"She saw us!! Run!!!"

"Sigh"
"Honestly..... now then. Do you two have any questions?

"No. I'm good and thanks for setting me up." Kirito said

"No questions as well and thank you too." P/N said

"Well goodnight then. Do you two know how to put out a lamp?"

"Yeah. Well good night Selka." Kirito said as Selka nodded

"I can't believe we're sharing a bed together?!" P/N said as he planned on sleeping on the opposite side of the bed

"Same here! And no offense but this is making me feel so uncomfortable." Kirito said

"Oh gee ya think!" P/N said

"But... P/N.... about this whole thing....? This isn't the real world so far.... and I can tell none of the villagers are NPCs but they can't be testers either." Kirito said

"Facts! There have to be dozens of STL's for them to login with and we know there aren't that many." P/N said

"Yeah. According to 300 years has passed in this world, he spent the last six years as woodcutter here and remembers his childhood here." Kirito said

"That's true. Then him and the others was raised here in the start but the only way that could happen is if Rath copied the souls of babies or something." P/N said as Kirito turns off the lamp

"Babies.... babies.... artificial fluctlights.... it's hard to believe but that's no other explanation why would Rath do that and how fast would they have to accelerate time to get this world to this point." Kirito said

"Don't know about that. But the point is..... what if we trap here forever and never get back home?!" P/N said

"Maybe if we can get in touch with Kikouka if we can get to a better city..... we need money to travel and right now we got none and we don't know about this world yet." Kirito said

"If we had some had, we could go to Centauri and found some answers there... and we're starting off from scratch too. From Level 1 to 100. From Rookie to God Level." P/N said as they planned on going to sleep. Then they thought about something

"Asuna......."

"Yuuki......"

"I will get back to the real world and reunite with you once again." Kirito thought

"I will be back with you...... once we find out some clues of getting out of this virtual world... I'll be there with you.... I promise." P/N thought to himself. "And.... I really miss you already.... and everyone else."
