-Back with Kirito and the others-

"Man......! Everyday for the past year in 3 months we've been hacking away at this darn tree.....? I can't take it anymore." Kirito said

"Yeah..... it's been a while and it's so tiring if you ask me....." Y/N added

"There's no use to complaining about it. Our callings to cut the giga cedar down, so there's no getting out of it." Eugeo said

"Yeah I know you're right but still..... doesn't feel like we're getting anywhere." Kirito said as he draw an "S" and something had popped up. "That's its life now.... what was it two months ago?" Kirito ask

"Hmmm? I don't know.... I lost track."Y/N said

"I think it was at 230,590?" Eugeo guess

"For real?!"Y/N  said

"I'm gonna be sick....... after two months of chopping at it we only got it's wiped out a lousy 50?!?!? It's gonna take us forever to cut it down!!!" Kirito complains to the core

"What do you expect? This tree's as strong as steel. Six generations of Carver's worked on it for 300 years to get this far.....it'll get cut down in 900 years or so~

"Oh please kill us now....."Y/N said

"Oh well...." Kirito tackles Eugeo and Y/N  got in on the crossfire

"Ow! What the heck!!" Y/N said as he was pinned down on the ground and Eugeo was on top of him

"What are you doing?" Eugeo ask

"You think you're such a smarty pants? Why don't use that big brain of yours to figure out how to get us out of this job!" Kirito was playing around

"Would you.... stop it....?! Get off!!!" Eugeo manage to push Kirito off. "Now it's my turn!"

"And mine too of getting in the crossfire!" Y/N  joined Eugeo

"How you like that Kirito?!" Eugeo said

"Heh! Do you give up or you want more?!~

"No way?!" Kirito parried Y/N  and tickles Eugeo

"It's payback time!! No surrender!!"

"Hahaha!!! Please stop!!!"

"Nope!!"

"Y/N!!! Please help!!! Hahaha!!!!" Eugeo begged for help

"You don't have to say it twice!!!" Y/N tickles Kirito, then someone said something

"I knew you three boys were goofing off!"

"Huh?!"

"Heh!"

"Oh! Hi... Alice."

"Did your Sacred Arts Class let out early today cuz like.... you're early." Kirito said

"Sigh" I'm not early at all. I'm right on time. Since you have the energy to wrestle, maybe I should tell old man to add some more swings to your daily quota." Alice said as she approached them and smirk

"Please don't tattletale!" Y/N begged

"Y-Yeah! Anything but that!!" Kirito said

"I'm just kidding! Here. It's time you have some lunch."

"Oh yeah!!" Y/N said

"It's so hot today." Alice drew an "S" and it shows of how much life the food has left. "You better eat it fast before it spoils." Alice said as they began eating

"Pie sure taste good today." Eugeo said

"You can say that again~
CHOMP!!!

"H-Hey! Slow down Y/N! Don't eat to fast or you gotta choke on the food." Alice chuckles

"No way! This hit the spot Alice!" Y/N said

"Yeah I agree cuz your cooking keeps getting better, for real." Kirito said

"O-Oh I don't know.... I guess but it could've been better." Alice said

"You know what? If anything I wish we could take our time eating this instead of rushing." Kirito said

"Gulp"
"Yeah.... you do have a good point. But why does food have to spoil so fast when it's hot? I mean it's gotta be hot anyway so the food can be good and fresh?!" Y/N said

"Well because it's hot." Eugeo said

"Yeah I know that but in winter we leave raw meat out and it keeps for days as long as it's salted." Y/N said

"Well yeah that's cuz it's cold in winter." Eugeo said

"That's right and if we could keep food cold in summer too it would last way longer." Kirito said

"Yeah but it depends on how much life it got? We can't go over the life if it's already getting spoiled." Y/N said

"And you'd have to use the forbidden weather altering arts too. Then an Integrity Knight from the Axiom Church would come and take you away." Eugeo said

"That's cold as Ice too." Y/N said as he gave Kirito an idea

"Ice?! Ice! That's it!"

"Huh?!"

"Don't you see? We have lots of ice, we could keep the food cold then we could take our time and enjoy Alice's lunches! I say we go have ourselves a quest! A quest for ice!" Kirito said

"Honestly! It's summer now, why don't you find ice this time of year? Even the market at Centauri is out." Alice said

"Hm? Wait?! Remember that story about one of the village founders for Bercouli?" Kirito said

"What story?" Alice question

"You know? For Bercouli? The Northern White Dragon. He followed the rule river all the way to its source, became the foot of the end Mountains. He went in and found a pile of treasure with a big white dragon sleeping on top. Then he grabbed his sword sticking out of the treasure and the dragon woke up. The story also says he saw giant icicles so little waves past the mountain of the cave. I say we go and get them." Kirito said

"That's crazy~

"It's not a bad idea." Alice agrees

"You too?!~

"Yeah I'm with them as well." Y/N agrees as well

"Not you too Y/N?!" Eugeo said. "Come on, you know the law of the village, it says~

"Yes I know it. It says kids aren't allowed to play anywhere near the mountains unless they have a grown-up with them. But if we're looking for ice that's not playing. If our village had ice, all the food would last longer and that would benefit everyone. So if we went to get some it'd be considered a work, not play." Alice said

"She does have a point Eugeo." Y/N  said

"But we wouldn't just be breaking the village law by going up there? And we'd be breaking the other one too."

"Huh?! What other one?" Y/N and Kirito question

"Don't be dumb, The Taboo Index!" Eugeo said as Kirito and the others was shocked. "No one's allowed to go against that for any reason." Eugeo said as Alice agreed but explain about something else then they all agreed on going.

Then on July 21, 372 HE

"Making us carry everything?! What does she think we are?! Her servants?!" Kirito complains

"Stop complaining. Be happy we can still go and do stuff with her, it'll end soon." Eugeo said

"Why?" Y/N asked

"Because she's the village elder daughter, that's why she has to learn all that stuff. A lady supposed to know like manners and etiquette." Eugeo said

"Yeah that's true."Y/N  said

"Yeah..... and since she wasn't giving a calling like we were, she has to study all their Sacred Arts Skills too." Kirito said

"She's going to be a role model for the villagers, that means no more playing with us boys anymore."

"Oh man!!!~

"All right! What are the three of you boys are whispering back there?!" Alice said as she turns towards the boys

"Um....? Nothing at all....." Kirito said

"Y/N! You're an honorable guy that I know, you'll tell me the truth, right?" Alice said

"Yeah... we was saying of how we'd get in trouble if we don't make it back before the evening bell y'know." Y/N said as he close his eyes and smiled at Alice

"Oh good point and keep an eye on the solace and when it's the middle of the sky and we'll head back. So come on guys, back to our quest. And thank you for being honest Y/N." Alice said

"You're welcome~

"Hah! Nice!" Kirito said as he fist bump with Y/N

"Sigh" "You two are something else sometimes...." Eugeo sighed

Then as Kirito and the others were far away from the village, Kirito did mention a rumor about Goblins and other monsters from the Dark Territory, trying to scare Alice but she wasn't scared at all as she heard the rumor before. Then as they climbed up the mountain, they see a cave and as they peek out the cave to see if anything was there and not and luckily it's just a river. Then before they went in, Alice did a Sacred Art Skill

"System Call! Generate Luminous Element. Adhere." Alice use a flower to create light and the others were impressed

"Wow! That's awesome Alice!" Y/N was amazed and Alice blush

"T-Thank you Y/N.... c'mon let's go." Alice said as they began walking

"Well..... I don't see any icicles yet? Did you say they were supposed to be a little ways in?" Eugeo ask

"I don't know? Did I?" Kirito said

"You did!" Eugeo and Y/N said at the same time

Then Alice stops

"Eugeo....."

"Yeah?"

"Could you please bring that light over here please." Alice said as Eugeo came closer and Alice suddenly blows her breath. "See? It's colder now." Alice said as Y/N was now shivering.

"Yeah she's right! I'm cold as a frozen dessert right now!" Y/N said

"I thought I was coming down with something?" Kirito said

"It's kind of neat of how it's winter in here but summer outside? I bet we'll find some ice further in." Alice said

"Yeah.... hopefully not too much further in." Eugeo said

"What are we going to do if we happen to come across the white dragon?" Alice question

"We'll run away as fast as we can." Eugeo said

"Oh quit worrying. I'd seriously doubt it's gotta mind if we take a couple of icicles..... hmm.... it'll be neat but if we could grab one of its scales....?" Kirito thought

"Don't ya think that's a bit too much for us kids Kirito?" Y/N said

"I agree cuz we're definitely not doing that!" Eugeo said as he'd agree with Y/N

"Why not? How else we're going to prove that we saw a real life dragon~

CRACKED!!!

As Eugeo stepped on ice, they'd see a couple more ahead. Then as they ran forward, they see a light ahead then as they entered in, they saw a whole cave full of ice. Then as they was seeing what's else are they going to see, they saw the dragon.... who's completely dead as the whole skeleton was revealed. Kirito picked up a Dragon's piece and noticed it was cut of by a swordsman~ A human. They questioned themselves if Bercouli couldn't kill it, then Alice had thought it was an "Integrity Knight" from the Axiom Church. But Eugeo thought it was A Dark Territory, they have strong knights as well. Then Kirito and Y/N had found the sword that Bercouli couldn't obtain

"What you two doing?" Eugeo ask

"We found the sword." Y/N said as both of them dragged the sword then dropped it

"Man! The sword it's heavy than it looks." Kirito said. "Even with the 3 of us together, we'll never dragged this back at home in time." Kirito said

"But there are other different treasure we can take though." Y/N said as Alice nodded in agreement with him

"But something like that doesn't seemed right.... it'll be like grave robbing." Alice said

"Yeah.... I guess you're right. Well, just take these ice, yeh dragon won't mind that." Kirito said as they collected the icicles

"Oh it's so pretty. But it's shame if they'll melt." Alice said

"I couldn't care either less as long as it makes our meals longer." Kirito said

"Not just our meals, everyone." Alice said

"Guys we should get going now." Y/N said

"Yeah or else we won't make it back in time before dark." Eugeo said

Then as they forgot of which tunnels they'd cane out from. For a while they have been walking for a minute, then Eugeo was hearing wind as he ran towards the light again...... it turns out...... they'd was shocked of what they saw.......

"Where are we?" Kirito said

"Is this.....?" Y/N said

"The Dark Territory....." Alice said

"Oh no....! We better turn around~

FWOOSH!!!!

As they saw two Dragons and Knights battling each other..... it appeared one knight is A Integrity Knight from the Axiom Church and one Knight is from the Dark Territory. As they saw what happened, the Integrity Knight had won the battle as the Dark Territory Knight was defeated. Then as the Knight and Dragon landed on the ground, the Knight spotted the kids and reached out it's hand for help...... then Alice started walking forward and Kirito and Y/N noticed the uncrossable line

"No wait!" Kirito said

"Alice stop!!!" Y/N said as almost caught Alice on time but.....

THUD!!!!

"Alice~
"Gasped"

Both Kirito and Eugeo was shocked of something terrible happened

"Did I.... make it in time~
"Gasped"

Y/N was too late, as his hand was touching Alice's wrist, Alice's hand had crossed through the line. Then Kirito, Eugeo and Y/N remembered of what Alice said about no one crosses the line of the Dark Territory

"W-What have I done....?!" Alice was terrified

"I-It's okay!" Eugeo said

"You didn't leave the cave, that's the most important thing here ok!" Y/N said as Kirito looked at something in the air

"Kirito?!~

"What are y~

ZOOM!!!

"What the heck is that?!"

"A SINGULAR UNIT HAS BEEN DETECTED! TRACING ITS ID! COORDINATE FIXED! REPORT COMPLETE!!"

SWAMPED!!!!

"What was that thing?" Eugeo said

"And what he mean by "report complete"?" Y/N questioned

"I don't know? Let's get out of here!" Kirito said as they finally escaped out of the cave, then in the afternoon they stop for a break

"Man......! That was a nightmare.....!" Y/N said

"So guys..... where are we gonna put this?" Kirito said

"I'll put these Ice in my basement, where it's nice and cool." Alice said

"Okay." Eugeo said
"See ya." Kirito said
"Bye." Y/N said

As Alice walked away a bit, she'd turned around and said something

"I think tomorrow's lunch will be the best one yet." Alice smiles

"Can't wait!" Kirito said

"Me too." Eugeo

"Same here." Y/N said

"Hehe." Alice giggles as she headed towards home

Then...... as Eugeo had a dream of Alice was walking away and Eugeo tried to save her but couldn't do anything to stop her. Then as he woke up, having a nightmare of Alice being taken away. Then on the next day, Y/N was chopping up the tree, then as Eugeo saw the same dragon from the other day, Eugeo feared of Alice being taking away for real. Then Kirito and the others ran towards the town before it's too late.

As The Integrity Knight had approached the town, as everyone was suddenly shocked of how an Integrity Knight set foot on their village and Alice was shocked of how she'd feared of the Integrity Knight approach then Kirito and the others made it on time

"Hey Alice."

"Huh?! Kirito! Eugeo! And Y/N!~

"Shh! Keep it down! We gotta get out of here before he sees you." Kirito said as they'd tried to leave but a man had walked towards the Integrity Knight

"It's my father!" Alice said

"I am Gasupht Zuberg, The elder of this village." Gasupht bowed

"I am Deusolbert! Synthesis 7, The Axiom Integrity Knight who oversees the Northern Norland Guard Territory. Your daughter Alice Zuberg has disobeyed the Taboo Index! I shall take her with me to answer for her crimes and be executed!!" Everyone was shocked even Alice's father was shocked as well. "Taboo Index Book 1 Chapter 3 Verse 11 states no one shall cross into the Dark Territory."

As the basket full of ice had suddenly dropped and melted, Alice's Father had her tied up and Kirito, Eugeo and Y/N has ran towards The Integrity Knight

"Sir Knight!"

The Knight look at Kirito's direction

"Alice never set foot in the Dark Territory!" Kirito said

"It was an accident! All she did was touch the ground, it was only for a second!!!" Y/N added

"So she doesn't need to be executed!!" Eugeo said

"That is enough to charge her with the crime."

"What!!" Y/N said

"We're just as guilty as she is! We were right there with her! If you take her~ and take us too!" Kirito said

"Right! She's our friend and we won't let her be executed!!" Y/N said as the Integrity Knight ignored them and Kirito has a plan

"Eugeo! Listen! Y/N and I are gonna charge him with the axe! Grab Alice and run!" Kirito said as Eugeo was in fear

"W-What?! B-But we can't?"

"We don't care what happens!! Her life's more important than some stupid old rules!!" Y/N said as he and Kirito are willing to save Alice

"All right! Now!!!!" As Kirito and Y/N charged at the Integrity Knight but

THOOM!!!!

"GAHH!!"
"OHHAA!!!"

Both Kirito and Y/N was suddenly got hit in the gut

"Kirito!! Y/N!!"

"N-No! Not yet!!!" Y/N said as he and Kirito got up and start running but couple of adults pinned them down

THUD!!!

"Ahh!! Get off of me!!!" Y/N was struggling

"Don't just stand there! Go help her!!!" Kirito said as Eugeo suddenly walked slowly then felt something in his right eye

ZAPPED!!! CORRUPTED!!!

"Eugeo!! What are you doing?!?! Hurry!!!" Y/N said

"Get these guys of me! C'mon!!! Hurry!! Eugeo!!!" Kirito said as The Integrity Knight was flying away with Alice and Eugeo sees Alice flies away with his red eye.

"No!!!" Y/N and Kirito was able to break free from being pinned down

"Grrr!!!!!~

"ALICE!!!!!!!!!!!" Kirito and Y/N scream out Alice name as they watch her getting taken away.

In morning

"NO!!!!" Y/N woke up from his dream and his hand was on the air. "That..... dream.... it felt..... to real..... and...... Kirito..... that was "our"  Kirito?!" Y/N said to himself and Yuuki woke up

"Yawns"
"Good morning Y/N~Kun......" Yuuki woke up, rubbing her tired eyes. "Hey.... you're ok?" Yuuki said as she saw a tear shedded to his left hand.

"I-I..... I'm sorry...... it's just that~

GRABBED!!!

"It's ok Y/N~Kun..... people had a bad dreaming experience before." Yuuki interrupts Y/N by teasing and hugged him

"I-It's not a bad dream...... it felt real....... too real......" Y/N said

"Oh! How real was it?" Yuuki asked a question

"It felt like...... I was born in a small village..... I didn't see Akira..... Soma.... or either Big Bro Aoi..... and I only saw Kirito..... and I think it was "our" Kirito.... and there was these..... other people that we know..... it was a blonde haired boy and girl.... but one day... a girl was executed by breaking this "Taboo Index" and was sent away...... and Me and Kirito tried to save her but.... we was too late." Y/N said

"What are their names?!" Yuuki asked a question

"Um.....?~

"I.... I think a boy named Eu..geo~ Eugeo! And a girl was named...... Alice..... Alice Zuberg....." Y/N said

"Eugeo? And Alice? What else happened?" Yuuki questioned

"Well..... I don't know anything else.... I wish.... I can know about the that dream again..... and save Alice......." Y/N said as he clenched his left fist

"Well.... it's only a dream Y/N~Kun..... look, let's get some fresh air and do something for the day. You know to get your mind of that dream, ok?" Yuuki said

"...... Yeah..... I guess so." Y/N said as he got out of bed and prepared to get ready for the day

"Hey! Wait for me darling!" Yuuki got out of bed and accompany Y/N.

As Y/N and Yuuki was getting ready, Y/N couldn't stop thinking about the dream he had.

"Hey Y/N~Kun..... you're still thinking about that dream aren't you?" Yuuki said

"Yeah..... I know it's just dream but it felt too real and I'd see Kirito, just me and him... no one else." Y/N said

"Well..... c'mon, let's go and have some fun and that'll distract ya for a bit." Yuuki dragged Y/N out of the house

"Well.... I hope so~
*Kirito~ No Kazuto..... I have a bad feeling that something is gonna happen to the both of us....*
