So I haven't seen anyone do this before... but I thought it was a cool idea so I'm gonna go ahead and do it! Here are some trivia facts about my stories!

*HUGE SPOILERS AHEAD FOR MY STORIES! ADVISABLE TO NOT READ UNLESS CAUGHT UP*

*YOU WERE WARNED. DEFENSE PARAMETERS DISENGAGED*

1. In the original outline of The Lastborn, Gerithor, not Eldahir, was going to die.

The original story followed the path of Gerithor as he sought revenge for the death of his family, and at the end Arnakhor and Gerithor both died, with Arnakhor asking for the ranger's forgiveness before the two perished beside each other.

2. Gerithor's name was initially spelled "Garithor".

Also, he was much older in the original draft and his best friend was named Lenendil.

3. Caledorn was not an assassin at first, nor sinister in any way.

He started out being a more generic Mirkwood guard type character, but I opted for a darker, more conflicted character later on in planning.

4. Rukil was originally an antagonist.

Rukil was first designed to be a villain turned hero, and he too was originally much older.

5. Rhun changed drastically as I began to shape the story.

At first, Rhun was going to be based more on medieval Japan. I then decided that a more barbaric, dangerous culture fit them better and Khand became the Japanese-based culture.

6. Hadar was going to die.

This actually was a last minute change rather than a planned one, I decided that he was too central to Rukil's character for him to die.

7. Gerithor's father was originally going to die in the attack on his home village.

I opted on developing him significantly more first, mainly because he grew on me as a character.

8. Layala was going to survive.

The original plan was for her to be the one who turned the antagonistic Rukil into a hero, but with the scrapping of that idea came the death of Layala.

9. Arnakhor was originally going to be an orc.

But that was too boring.

10. Lord Khanar was a good guy.

This one actually persisted until about halfway through the book, so some traces of that remain if you look for them. There wasn't originally a main bad guy in the story. (The entire story was completely different)
