The world sucks...

And we are the ones destroying it!

Every day more and more killings are happening. Everyday somebody gets hurt by another.
Everyday there is a possibility that there will be another post or blow up on social media about a mass shooting.

I woke up today to all of these posts about all of these shootings within a few days of eachother. And it makes me sad, scared, and mad. It saddens me to imagine what those people were going through while everything was happening. It saddens me to think that innocent people died and that their families have to go through the pain of burying a loved one. I'm scared of the future of the fact that this could easily happen anywhere any time. Even in a small town like mine. I work at a walmart (that is where the el paso texas shooting happened) and when I saw those videos and posts. I was thinking, that could be me one day. You don't know when or where a shooting could happen. And it makes me mad that the world changed this much in only such a short amount of time and we can't blame anyone but ourselves. I don't understand why people are like this. Why they feel the urge to kill someone else.

I tell my parents every time they bring up something about me having a kid one day that I am not having kids because they don't deserve to live through this. They shouldn't have to go through hard and soft lock down drills because they could possibly have a shooter in their school one day.

It's plain and simple. This world sucks...
