T: spring break is on its end and you still haven't come to Gotham.

C: ah, I forgot...

T: why are you so fucking dumb, Connie?

T: who the hell forgets a trip we had been planning months beforehand?

C: we had?

C: if I recall correctly, just last month you were at Metropolis and had gotten tired sick of us. Why would you want me to come to Gotham then?

T: so that I can do the same to you.

T: annoy you till you're tired af of us and then not let you go back.

C: ...

T: so why aren't you here yet?

C: I got very busy.

T: haha very funny.

T: now cut the crap out and tell me the truth.

C: what?

C: you don't believe I could get busy with anything?

T: no.

T: you're just about as busy as a snail.

T: I have proofs to support my claim.

T: you don't have any hobbies nor do you have any friends except me and Zach. So of course, there's no way for you to get busy with anything.

T: you are too lazy to apply for a part-time job or an internship, it's considered a miracle if you clean up your room even, according to your Mom, so excuse me for being a bit straightforward here.

C: how dare you tell me off for not cleaning my room when you literally live in a trash can?

T: all things aside, what got you so impossibly busy that you forgot about the trip?

C: my friend Zach is applying for the Olympics this year.

T: so?

T: what does that have to do with you?

C: and I'm helping him get trained his very best for it.

T: ...

C: so I have been really busy and forgot about the trip too. I'm sorry.

T: ...

C: yo Tim, you there?

T: ...

C: hey, I am in no mood to read a long ass paragraph.

T: oh sorry, no I am not writing a long ass paragraph.

T: it just took me really long to digest the newfound information.

C: why?

T: I just can't process that you would be responsible enough to train somebody. Poor dear Zach...

C: try to understand, it's very important for him.

C: he has been applying since two years and this time is his last chance.

T: I don't care.

T: I want you to be in Gotham in two days and that too because I'm being lenient.

T: and if you don't show up yourself, I will come back to Metropolis, throw you in the kryptonite tank Bruce has kept for emergency use and abduct you myself.

T: you know I always act upon my threats whenever I'm frustrated and this time my frustration level is soaring off the roof.

T: say, if a rouge Kryptonian showed up and started wrecking havoc on Earth, what are we gonna do?

T: what do we have to defend ourselves with?

C: but the entire planet got destructed, there are no more Kryptonians.

T: Bruce is always prepared for every possible and impossible situation.

C: ...

T: and don't you remember that time when Clark was being controlled by Cadmus?

C: okay enough, shut up.

C: you've made your point.

T: so either you come to Gotham soon or you suffer the consequences.

Megan: girls, I need your help.

Kara: I can't go out on a date again, Zach is extremely busy these days.

Megan: ...

Megan: not that sort of help.

Artemis: then?

Megan: I am stuck in a situation...

Kara: what happened?

Artemis: is everything okay?

Megan: yeah...

Kara: doesn't seem like okay though.

Megan: I met Jason.

Kara: oh...

Artemis: we want all the details.

Megan: long story short, he found out about me through Tim and has been trying to talk to me ever since. I kept turning him down because I was so mad that he lied to me that time...

Megan: even though we were together for a month.

Artemis: but since you met him, I'm assuming he explained something to you about his reason to lie?

Megan: yeah...

Kara: so...

Kara: are you still mad at him?

Megan: ...

Megan: I don't really know.

Kara: what kind of a guy is this Jason? I mean, how had he been towards you?

Kara: because aside from you, we've heard only Richard and Tim talk about him and they can be biased in their judgement.

Artemis: you guys forget I knew Jason before he died...

Megan: really?

Megan: you didn't tell.

Artemis: must have slipped my mind.

Artemis: he had been part of the YJ very briefly, back when you newbies weren't on Earth even.

Kara: oh...

Megan: so he was part of the original YJ?

Artemis: yeah but we no longer call it the original YJ, it's just the former YJ now.

Megan: right...

Kara: Meg, I asked you a question?

Megan: oh yeah.

Megan: Jason told me his name was Peter that time when we first met.

Artemis: he didn't technically lie to you because Peter is his middle name. Anyways, carry on.

Megan: and we met at a party, you guys know the story. It's just that he was very different from all other people I had dated and I had felt attracted to him right from the start.

Kara: ah yes we remember...

Kara: you spent entire hours telling me about how he was a perfect mix of hot and dashing as well as caring and considerate.

Artemis: 🤭

Megan: at first I thought he was the typical bad boy type. But then as I got to know him, I figured all those little details that made him unique in his own way. 

Megan: God, I was smitten back then.

Kara: awww. Though you sure it was just back then?

Megan: ...

Artemis: five dollars say she's blushing

Megan: why bet so low when you know you'll win?

Artemis: 🤣

Kara: Meg, carry on.

Megan: truthfully, he's tough on the outside but really caring underneath. He takes care of the little things, loves literature, is an excellent cook and well, great overall...

Kara: yeah, we get it, no need to say that.

Artemis: the Jason I knew was very young so my perception of him would be different than yours. He was brash and reckless, always going headfirst into every danger not because he wanted to die or get hurt like our Timmy but because he wanted to be the one to save the day.

Kara: ooooh backstory time.

Artemis: but then that same recklessness got him killed. It was an awful time for the Waynes. And the only time when I saw Dick at his lowest point.

Megan: he really cares for his brothers. It's quite remarkable how he looks out for them.

Artemis: yeah, he's the Mom of the Batfam. 

Artemis: as for Jay, five long years have passed since then. He might have changed for the better or the worse. I don't really know. 

Kara: yeah but that's for our Meg to find out, right?

Megan: ...

Artemis: absolutely right.

Kara: what I still don't get is that why do you think you're stuck in a situation, Meg?

Kara: he explained stuff to you and looks like you understood. And it is clear you want to give him a second chance and he too is looking for ways to mend whatever you two had or else he wouldn't have approached you in the first place...

Artemis: valid point.

Megan: well, you're right but...

Kara: when you know I'm right and you've given it a lot of thought yourself, then why are you still hesitant?

Megan: idk...

Artemis: I know you, Meg, you're worrying for no reason.

Megan: I guess...

Megan: it's just that he's not who I thought he was and it will take me some time to accept that.

Kara: how about you forget you even knew him earlier and start afresh?

Kara: see if the real him is worth your affection or not. And what better way to find out than to give him a chance?

Mrgan: ...

Artemis:I couldn't have worded it better myself.

Megan: I'll think about it.

Megan: thanks a lot for hearing me out and giving such great advice.

Kara: ah come on, it was nothing.

Artemis: btw Kara, haven't you gotten great at relationship advices ever since you met Zach?

Kara: wym?

Kara: what does Zach have to do with it?

Megan: the Kara we knew wasn't this optimistic.

Megan: looks like Zach is proving to be a positive influence on you.

Kara: ...

Artemis: when are you making it official with him?

Kara: oh come on...

Kara: why do you two turn the tables on me at the last moment?

Megan: because we want to know what's going on with you too.

Artemis: agreed.

Kara: fine, I admit.

Kara: I really like him and I would love it if he were my boyfriend.

Artemis: awww, that's the spirit.

Kara: but right now, he's at a very important point in his life and there's a lot going on with him already. I don't want to distract him from his ambitions.

Kara: I think I'll wait until he gets his dream of getting selected for the Olympics fulfilled and if things are still going well with us by then, we'll consider it.

Megan: always with the formal undertones, Kara...

Kara: can't help it.

Artemis: it's going to be your and his decision mutually so we wish you all the best for it.

Artemis: but you should know that whenever you need us for anything, we'll be right here.

Megan: yeah, best friends forever.

Kara: aw thanks, girls, love you 💕

Artemis: 😘

Megan: love you too, sweetie ❤
