K: is this Zachary, Ava's brother?

Z: yes. And who might you be?

K: Kara. Ava's friend. 

K: I got your number from Connor because we've been trying to contact Ava since morning and she isn't picking up. Connor's phone was dead so he asked me to text you.

Z: ...

Z: but Ava's right here. 

Z: let me ask why she wasn't replying to you guys.

K: okay. Thanks though, we were getting worried.

Z: she looks pissed to me. Did you guys do anything to anger her?

K: did you ask why she's not answering her phone?

Z: no.

Z: I value my life so if she's really angry at you guys, I'm not going to butt in.

K: Zach, please?

Z: ...

Z: she's very angry.

K: why?

Z: Connor forgot that he had to take her out on a date today and she had been waiting for him for so long.

Z: and Ava doesn't like to wait. Especially if it's something she's looking forward to.

Robin: Kara's probably busy trying to save Connie's ass. I can't wait to see how that goes.

Artemis: and where are you then?

Robin: haha, at the rooftop. This is quite a scene.

Miss Martian: yeah, that's why you purposefully brought this up and left us on a hook so that we'll get it out of you and Nightwing will get embarrassed.

Kid Flash: ooooh, you're learning, M'Gann.

Miss Martian; yeah, I'm adapting to you dysfunctional lot.

Robin: I bet you haven't met the Batfam or else you would never refer to this team as a dysfunctional lot. You haven't yet seen the true meaning of dysfunction personified.

Robin: or family-fied in that instance.

Artemis: ngl you did get us worried about Connor though.

Miss Martian: yeah.

Artemis: I hope he's doing okay.

Robin: ah, he'll be thrilled to see my efficient reporting skills.

Supergirl: I doubt that.

K: yeah, he's alive.

Z: that's a relief.

K: I got there on time.

Z: I'm so sorry for all you guys have to deal with due to my sister.

Z: she can be a really terrifying person at times.

K: it amazes me how you live with her 24/7 and are still alive.

Z: I can't decide if this is a compliment or a taunt.

K: oh no, not a taunt. Why would I taunt you?

Z: okay...

K: but not a compliment either. I'm just curious.

Z: how so?

K: she has mentioned multiple times that you are very annoying and knowing her, she deals with annoying people mercilessly.

Z: well, I call her Wednesday Addams for a reason.

K: Wednesday Addams?

Z: you haven't seen the Addams family?

K: like do they live in the neighborhood or...?

Z: oh no no. 

Z: it's a TV show.

K: oh.

Z: 10/10 would recommend. Though it depends on which version you would want to see. There's a movie version.

Z: no two movies actually and one animated show and one vintage show.

K: and Wednesday is a character from that show?

Z: yup.

K: now I kinda want to watch it and see if she's really like Ava or not.

Z: sure, you'll like it too I hope.

K: I've gotta say, Wednesday Addams and Ava are a lot alike. 

K: especially when Ava is in her dangerously angry mode.

Z: told you.

Z: hey, so you watched the show? Or the movie.

K: yup.

Z: which one?

K: binge-watched everything. Both the shows and the movies.

Z: impressive.

Z: who's your favorite character?

K: it's hard to choose. I like everybody.

K: maybe... Except for Fester.

Z: yeah. I got weirded out by Cousin It though. Fester was okay.

K: ah yes, Cousin It...

K: like it feels I'm just talking to a friend rather than my friend's brother who I have literally not interacted much with.

Z: if you told Ava that I'm easy to talk to, she'll disagree.

Z: a few weeks ago, she had literally saved my contact in her phone as Not Worth Talking To.

K: 😂

K: siblings can be like that towards one another.

Z: yeah.

K: if you don't mind me asking, what's the contact name she has saved for you now?

Z: ...

K: ah sorry, you don't have to tell me if it's something embarrassing.

Z: no, it's not like that...

Z: I'm saved as Orange Juice Stain now.

K: oh...

Z: it's fine tho.

Z: she'll change it once she finds something else to annoy me with.

Z: and that she will do so very soon because I feel like that's her hobby.

K: finding things to annoy you with?
