God: Do you believe in me?

Me: Obviously! I'm talking to you right now so you must be real.

God: Yeah, but do you believe in me?

Me: I'm confused now. I just said I believe in you!

God: You said I was real, but do you believe in me? Do you believe with all of your heart and soul that I can get you through whatever storm comes your way? Do you believe I am all powerful and mightier than any battle you will ever face? Do you believe that I can overcome your biggest fears and clean the strongest, most wicked depths of your heart? Do you believe that I can move mountains, that I can turn the darkness into light, that I can mend a heart that's shattered into a million pieces of depression and loneliness? Do you believe...in me?

Me: Wow. I mean, of course. You're God! There's nothing that you can't do. It tells us that in the Bible. You are the beginning and end of all things, anything is possible with you.

God: Thanks, Abby. But you're only one person out of seven billion. I need EVERYONE to believe in me.

Me: I'll do all that I can.

God: How do you know that will be enough?

Me: Do you believe in me?
