Madhya Pradesh :3
Okay, so this is the bio for an OC that I made for 36StatesofIndia
Yeah, that's about it! Sorry it took so long...

Name: [State] Madhya Pradesh [Human] Pari Charan
Age: [Established as a State] 60 [Before That] roughly 2600 years old
Appearance: Her long brown hair is usually worn in a low braid that reaches down to the small of her back. She usually wears a brightly colored (sorry if I accidentally screw this up) Chanderi sari (being barefoot simply because she likes the feel of grass beneath her feet), but on occasions, she'll show up with some loose pants, a random shirt, and some worn-down sneakers. Somewhat tall (5'9)
Personality: She's not the kind to hold grudges forever. Eventually, she'll let it go, even if it takes one hundred years. More of the outgoing, opinionated type. Although she might seem quiet around some members of her family, she loves them all very dearly. When around someone she dislikes, she may either spit insults or stay unusually quiet, depending on her mood. Pari rarely sheds tears in front of others and she will continue smiling for people if they need her. When she's alone, she kinda self-motivates herself and whispers inspirational messages (occasionally through tears ;-;)
Brief History: (Had trouble with this part >•<)
At around 1,500 BCE, the Maurya Empire was established, and this consisted of modern-day Madhya Pradesh. After the death of King Ashoka, the Maurya Empire went into decline and Centra India was contested amongst the Sakas, Kushanas, and local dynasties. From first to third century BCE, the Satavahana dynasty and the Saka dynasty fought for control over Madhya Pradesh. In fourth and fifth century CE, Northern India was conquered by the Gupta Empire, which collapsed towards the end of fifth century CE.
After the Gupta Empire collapsed, India was broken up into smaller states. Throughout the medieval period, great advances in math, science, and writing were made. In thirteenth century CE, Madhya Pradesh was conquered by the Turkish Delhi Sultanate. After the Turkish Delhi Sultanate collapsed at the end of fourteenth century CE, independent regional kingdoms reemerged.
Most of Madhya Pradesh came under Mughal rule during the reign of the emperor Akbar (1550s-1600s). After the death of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in the early 1700s, Mughal control over Madhya Pradesh began to weaken. Between 1720 and 1760, the Marathas took control of most of Madhya Pradesh. From there, Maratha clans continued to expand until their progress was stopped in 1761.
When the British were expanding their Indian dominations, the three Anglo-Maratha Wars were fought between 1775 and 1818. After the third Anglo-Maratha War, Madhya Pradesh and many other larger and smaller states became princely states of British India.
After the Indian Independence, Madhya Pradesh was created in 1950 from the former British Central Provinces.
