Here is another chapter for you, I felt that the 2nd chapter for this story was a bit short so, I'm writing the following chapters as soon as possible. Thank you for reading!

Start of Chapter 3 Part 1

The ride back to Mean's mansion was silent. Jimmy couldn't stop thinking about the guy he saved. The guy who made him feel butterflies in his stomach. The first human that he kissed.

"Saifah, are you still thinking about Tommy?" Mean asked in a whisper, Jimmy nodded.

"I told you to stop worrying about him, he is fine and by the way if you didn't know, he is the richest CEO in the country. He has the luxury to go to a good clinic or hospital if he wanted to" Mean explained. Jimmy remained quiet.

"I'm sorry Mean, I've caused you trouble and now I'm troubling my own self" clenching his fist in frustration. The thought about what happened. His carelessness could lead into a more dangerous thing. He was aware of that.

"You don't have to apologize; it was a good thing the storm kept people away and no one saw your transformation" he trails. Jimmy just kept his gaze on the ground.

"but you have to be more careful, I hope this will be the last time" Mean sighed and leaned back on his seat. Exhaustion creeping in to his body.

"I won't, I promise" He turned his gaze to the window. The bright orange light of the street lamps illuminating the night road of the city.

"get some rest, you'll need it tomorrow" Mean spoke with his eyes closed. Jimmy perked up. "what is happening tomorrow?" he shifted from his seat.

"I will tell you when we get home, for now rest and let your mind relax" Mean said. Jimmy just nodded and leaned back comfortably, closing his eyes and letting sleep take over.

The ride lasted for half an hour and the car stopped. "Master Mean, master Saifah, we've arrived at the mansion." 

Mean stretched himself awake and noticed that Jimmy was sleeping soundly on the car seat. The door was opened and Mean poked the sleeping boy on the cheek.

"y..es?" Jimmy wakes up from his sleep. Mean finds it cute to see the prince waking up.

"We arrived Sai... Let's go inside" The two men went inside the mansion and into their own rooms.

Jimmy was still thinking how is Tommy doing at this time. He walks close to the tall window in his room and leans towards the glass.

Letting the coldness of the window seep in to his skin. He breathes out a puff of smoke. Realizing the room went cold. He observes the inside of the room. There was nothing there but he felt as if he is being watched.

The glow of the full moon illuminates the night sky. Jimmy stares at it for a while and hums a little tune to himself. It is a simple but calming lullaby that his mother, the queen sang to him whenever he feels anxious or scared to calm him down.

The moon's glow began to shine even brighter and in an instant, all the Jimmy saw was a white light. Everything around him is just white. He is no longer in the room.

It is as if he was transported somewhere out of this world. He tries to yell for help, but the sound won't come out of his mouth.

He scanned the area and noticed a figure slowly coming close to him. A figure of a lady veiled with a silver sheer the covers her face and her body.

It comes closer to Jimmy and he is frozen in place. Even if he wanted to. He cannot move a finger.

The figure was now in front from him. Only the mouth of the figure can be seen. The rest of the face was shining.

It showed Jimmy a piece of necklace. In the shape of an hourglass. It seems it want him to take it. He tries to reach for it and this time he can move only his arms and hands. He took it from her and the lady speaks:

"He who holds the ocean's tears

Shall face a crisis

Will he follow his end? Or will he create his future?

She who sees the earth will wait for thee"

The white room suddenly vanished and he was back again in his room.

He thought he that was just an imagination but the necklace in his hand proves otherwise.

"What was that? A premonition? From you? " he stares back at the moon but it does not respond.

He felt tired and took a look at the necklace. It was a gold hourglass but the gravity inside was not affected by the gravity of reality.

The sands kept of dropping slowly and by assessing the time left for it to go out. It is in a couple of days. Gold was its base and sands similar to silver dust is seen inside.

Jimmy used the necklace and went to bed. He let his thoughts wonder for a bit and finally sleep took over.

The next day

Jimmy heard a knocking sound. He opens his eyes and slowly adjusted to his surroundings. He felt the swinging of the chain around his neck.

"So, it wasn't just a dream" the door opened and Mean was peeking inside.

"Oh hey, you were already awake. I was wondering why you weren't responding" walking close to the bed.

"Sorry Mean, it was just a tiresome day yesterday." The other nodded and hummed in responds. Mean noticed the shiny accessory on Jimmy's neck.

"where did you get that?" pointing to the object. Jimmy stands up and locks the door and made sure that no one was within ear shot. He told Mean everything that happened last night. Even the words that the figure told him.

"Hmm , I see. That must be a premonition for something important" Mean thought, and he stands up.

"no use thinking about that for now since we don't even know what will happen." Jimmy nodded in agreement.

"Get ready, we'll be going to my office for a while and my assistants will guide you on how to work in this world." Jimmy previously asked Mean if he can work for a day in his company as a lower-class employee.

Mean was against it at first but with enough persuasion, he agreed.

"I'll be ready in 5 minutes"

"great! I'll be waiting in the dining hall for breakfast, creampuff?" Jimmy smiled and nodded like a child. Mean exits the room and Jimmy went to the bathroom to take a morning shower and do his hygienic routine.

He wears the clothes Mean arranged for him to wear and walks to the big mirror until suddenly a white light flashes in his mind.

He saw Tommy with a girl and the vision started to shatter like glass. The vision vanished and he was back in his room. He felt his heart race and he was breathing hard.

"Am I going to see him again?" he touches his head. A painful headache soon subsided.

After getting ready, Jimmy went to the dining area and ate breakfast with his best friend. "We are now going to the company, are you ready? Do you know what is your job Saifah?"

Jimmy giggled at Mean and responded with a sassy Yes. Both smiled from it and they proceeded to go to the company building.

The ride going there was full of laughter. Jimmy was giving out jokes and Mean was reacting to it. The silhouette of the company building soon became visible to Jimmy.

"Is that it? The building with a mermaid tail logo on it?" pointing to the building.

"Yes, it is, welcome to Mermaid Tale. Co"

They both leave the vehicle and was soon greeted by a large number of employees and assistants.

"Good morning Mr. Medthanan" all said in unison. Jimmy was surprised on how Mean was treated in this world.

Mean just waved his hand in the air and they all lifted their heads and continued to do what they were doing.

They soon ride inside the elevator.

"That was amazing Tin, is that how everyone treats you here?" Jimmy asked.

"Well, it became like that when I became the CEO" Mean replied but before Jimmy could continue the elevator door opened and Jimmy was not expecting to see him so soon.

"Good morning Mr. Medthanan. I was just about to meet you in your office, would you mind if I join you?" Tommy and Mean exchanging handshakes.

"Please do, this is my assistant by the way" pointing to Jimmy. Jimmy could not keep eye contact with Tommy, so he kept looking at his shoes.

"O-kay. Shall we go then?" Mean nodded and Tommy pushed the button to close the elevator door.

The ride was quiet, and Jimmy could not even raise his head and Mean noticed this and gave him a nudge.

"you okay?" Jimmy just nodded and took a glance at Tommy. Out of nowhere, Tommy coincidentally decided to glance at Mean's assistant. Their eyes lock and something inside their chest started pounding.

Jimmy cut the connection and looked the other way. Tommy was feeling very uneasy. His body wants to reach out to the man in front of him. He wants to touch his hands. Feel his lips and carress his face.

Tommy started to reach for Jimmy, but the sound of the elevator door interrupted his attempt and he pulls back.

"Shall we talk inside my room?" Mean gestured towards his office door. Tommy, not even letting the man in front of him escape his vision nods.

Mean noticed the immense gaze of Tommy towards Jimmy. He is not supposed to remember him though, Mean thought.

"Okay, let's go inside. Saifah – you..."

That name sounded so familiar to Tommy. He can't remember where he heard it but he felt so uneasy hearing that name.

Mean instructed Jimmy to go to his assistant to guide him with work. Jimmy nodded and he kept his gaze down.

Tommy continued to stare at the man until he was out of sight, Mean cleared his throat and Tommy apologized to the CEO.

They went inside the office and two assistants took their suits and scarves.

"Please sit" Mean gestured towards the comfy chairs.

"Would you like some tea sir?" an assistant asked Tommy. He politely nods and smiles to the assistant.

"Jasmine please, thank you" the assistant bows and leaves, Mean sits opposite of him.

"Thank you for inviting me to your party yesterday Mr. Medthanan" Mean was not expecting him to open a topic related to yesterday's event. Did he remember? It is highly not possible.

I am very sorry for the late and short update but I am back! well, not fully but partly. I am starting my classes soon IRL and I need to focus on the side. I can always write the following chapters now and then. I'm done with the draft so, I'm going to be uploading in parts.
