Siblings together
When Ant was finished with eavesdropping on their parents conversation without even getting caught, he just have to tell all of this to his older sister, Fontaine. But the only problem is that Fontaine would never believe what Ant would say especially when it comes to mermaids, but he has to at least try. It took a while until Ant finally managed to find his sister, sitting in the sand and listening to her music. It was the perfect chance for Ant to just scare her sister, after all the fails from trying in the past, so he sneaked up close, but not too close to Fontaine, then took out one side of her headphones. "I know you're behind me little brother." Fontaine said, turning around while meeting her younger brother face to face. "Oh come on Fontaine, how can you possibly know that I was right behind you?" Ant said, with a pretty upsetting tone. He couldn't believe that he failed to scare his sister once again. "Trust me Ant, you were trying to take off one ear muff of my headphones, it was pretty obvious. But anyways, what do you want to tell me?" Fontaine was not really in a mood to hear her brothers extremely odd but unique beliefs. "I know that you're not going to believe me when I say this, but I was eavesdropping on mom and dad's conversation and..." Ant was suddenly cut off from his sentence, and he barley started it. "Wait a second you were listening to mom and dad's conversation?" Fontaine said, looking very surprised. "Yes now let me finish,I'll even get straight to the point. Now what I'm trying to say is that I believe that our very own mother is actually a real life mermaid." Ant said, with an exciting tone. Fontaine denies her brother's belief as usual, but what Ant didn't knew was that her sister had her own opinions, and noticed something odd about her mother's behavior that just didn't feel right. "First of all, Ant you can't be serious that mom is a mermaid, but if she was actually a mermaid she would tell us. Secondly, there is something that I should've told you sooner, to make you aware of this." Fontaine said with a very worried tone, hoping that it could get her brother's attention. Ant was pretty much surprised when he heard what Fontaine just said. "Really? What is it?" Ant said, with a very confused tone. At that point, Fontaine started talking about how their mother's behavior and how she is having a strange feeling that their mother could be hiding a secret behind her back. Fontaine even mentioned that she tried to ask her what was going on, but she refused to answer. "Now that you bought all of this up, I do notice mom acting a little odd recently, but I knew I wasn't the only one in this family." Ant was glad that he wasn't the only one who notice strange behavior from his own mother, and all of this gave him an idea. "What if we find out mom's secret ourselves? She may not like it at first, but she probably won't mind." Ant suddenly said, with the most exciting tone. Ant was really hoping that his older sister, Fontaine would join him on the journey to finding out their mother's secret, she made the choice to join her brother. "Not only that, I believe that we are off to a good start." Fontaine said, as she began reaching for her back pocket. Ant on the other hand was confused, what did she mean by that? Then, Fontaine pulled out something that really surprised Ant, a set of blue fish scales. Soon the two Nekton siblings will witness the impossible.
