*Nighttime*

Ash's POV

It's now 11:00 pm at night, so we quickly go to bed. I go to my bedroom for some sleep, while Serena just sleeps on the couch. I'm quite confused why she chooses that as her 'bed', it's like her favorite spot to sleep or take a nap on, but yeah, as long as it's comfortable for her

I see her covers her blanket on her and starts sleeping, so I guess I should be ready to sleep, as well. But you know, living with her, you won't expect what will happen, even if it's midnight

Several hours later

I'm still sleeping when suddenly someone shakes me by shaking my arm. I slowly open my eyes and look at my watch

Oh my god, it's 3:00 am!

Look, I don't really believe in devils or religious things. However, sometimes things like this would scare me easily. And this is not an exceptional. Because like most of the people, I've heard something about being awoken at 3:00 am.

Could this be... the devil?

I take a deep breath and hope that it's not like I think

"Ashhhh~"

OKAY, THAT'S SO CREEPY!

Calm down, Ash. Calm down! Ghosts and devils aren't real!... right?

I slowly turn my back, with a baseball bat on my hand for attack if needed. And before I know it, I encounter...

A pair of blue eyes in the darkness...

"AAAHHHHHH!" I scream to the top of my lungs, and surprisingly, so does the 'devil' or 'ghost'. I think that scream is from a girl. Oh god... A GHOST GIRL!

I don't remember this apartment was built next to a graveyard!

Before she can react, I grab my bat and smack her head like... 10 times, while shouting "DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!" like a total idiot. But then I realize, the 'ghost girl', or at least that what I believed, is actually... Serena, who is lying almost unconsciously with swirls in her eyes

"WHY DID YOU HIT ME LIKE THAT!? YOU WOULD HAVE KILLED ME!" Serena shouts at me with a bunch of red 'horns' on her head, which I think there are 10 'horns' on it

"OKAY, I'M SORRY, ALRIGHT!? BUT WHY DID YOU COME IN MY ROOM?" I try to ask as calmly as possible, then she blushes a bit

"Well... I want to... you know..." She whispers while twirling her hair with her finger and blushing, and I soon find out what she wants

I use my thumb to show her where the... bathroom is, but she quickly objects

"Not like that! I mean... I want you to..." She whispers and this time, it's my turn to blush

"WHAT!? No no no no no! You're on your own!" I tell her

"BUT I'M SCARED OF GHOSTS AND DARKNESS, OKAY!? I CAN'T!" She shouts at me

Seriously, I just helped her get passed her fear of water, and this time is her fear of darkness!?

"Hmm... maybe I should leave you at any haunted house on your own. That would be cool..." I tell her and make her scream even more

"NO! IT'S A BAD IDEA YOU HAVE THERE! JUST LEAD ME TO IT, ALREADY!"

"YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IS IT!? GO. ON. YOUR. OWN!" I shout at her and point at the door

"OH C'MON! HOW ABOUT I SING THE 'DORAEMON THEME SONG FOR YOU ON THE WAY!?"

"JUST GET OUT!" I point at the door again and this time she has to give up, but she mumbles something on the way

"Stupid crowhead..."

"WHAT DID YOU SAY!?"

"NOTHING!" Then she runs out and closes the door

*sighs* How will I deal with her from now on?

Serena's POV

GOD DAMN IT! NOW HOW WILL I DEAL WITH THIS!?

I have my reason for being scared of ghosts. When I was a baby, my mom usually told me some fairytales like most of the children before I went to sleep. However, I guess she was confused between fairytales and horror stories, so... I ended up having the most "dramatic" childhood of all times

Now... about this...

Geez, just look at the alleyway to the bathroom already make me feel cold on my back! So how will I deal with this!?

Oh, I think I did mention about singing 'Doraemon song' to Ash, but he didn't listen.

Oh for the love of Arceus, standing outside in the dark just so uncomfortable! And I really need to- I can't speak out that word in front of you guys.

So I start slapping my legs together to create the instrument sound, while using my mouth to create the beat as best as I can, with some "tatada tatada" sound. Then I run as fast as I can to the bathroom, turn on the light and close it as soon as possible.

"Konna koto ii na! Dekitara ii na! Anna yume konna yume ippai aru kedo!" Yep, I start singing like an idiot in the middle of the bathroom. This is so embarrassing...

I wonder if Ash is actually listening, because if he is, that will be even more embarrassing

I know I used to use my comb as a 'microphone' and sing in front of a mirror like a true singer. But this is just a very uncomfortable situation!

Anyway, what's the chorus anyway? Damn it! I forgot the chorus!

"Ah ah ah! *mumbles the lyrics which is wrong* Doraemon!"

I hate myself...

I can't remember what the second lyrics is, because you know, when you listen to a Japanese Anime song, you can only manage to sing the first part. So now I'm out of song to sing. WHAT SHOULD I DO!?

Wait... I got one... *takes a deep breath*

GOD DAMN IT, SERENA! YOU SANG THE WHOLE SONG WRONG!

Yep, I'm not kidding. I'm listening to her singing just to see if she'd meet any trouble, but soon I have to regret my decision.

I'm not gonna lie, her singing voice is sweet, but I think she totally forgot her MAIN reason why she has to go to the bathroom.

Anyway, she just stopped singing that song. I think you just forgot the second lyrics-

Wait, I spoke too soon. I think she's about to sing the second song

Okay, I'm not curious! Remember my number one target, okay? To keep her safe! Yeah!

"Kienai kienai ano hi no kagerou!" (Serena sings)

... Well... I seriously feel sorry for Doraemon and Gintama fans for seeing that girl singing your favorite Anime's theme song just to get through her fear of ghosts

Please... just stop... and put your attention... on your 'business'... ALREADY!

Damn it, I'm out of words already!

Look, I don't want to stand here singing Anime song till morning, and I know some of you are expected your favorite Anime's song to be sung by me. My, thank you, but no. I have to take care of my 'business'! For Ash's ears!

Actually I think he's listening to my singing from the other side of this room and seems to enjoy it. But oh well.

Also, I think while I was singing, I totally forgot about my fear- Ah ah! Not gonna speak it out!

Singing? No. Voices? No. YES! SHE HAS STOPPED! Now I can finally lay my head on my pillow and-

"Just believe in myself! Kono sekai de owannai yume...!" (Serena's singing while walking out the bathroom)

"Oikake Speed up! Speed up!"

Yeah! JUST SPEED UP AND GO TO SLEEP ALREADY! DAMN IT!

I truly believe in herself right now, believe that she can shut her mouth and stop torturing me with her sweet but torturous singing and get to sleep!

Serena's POV

"Ohaiyo!" I greet Ash, but he seems to not in the spirit. His eyes look like panda's and he looks like he had been drained energy last night

"Yeah... Ohaiyo..." He greets me back with a cup of coffee on his hand, but sometimes I see him almost drop it

"What's the matter? Didn't get enough sleep? Oooh... or you spent last night thinking about me? How sweet are you~" I tease him but he doesn't have the spirit

"Yeah... but not what you're thinking... you loud mouth cat!" He shouts at me, which makes me tilt my head to the left side because of the confusion

To be honest, people on Earth are just so... grumpy sometimes, for no reason. *sighs* This planet really is weird...
