Whenever  you don't feel heard amongst the crowd,

and everyone around forces your mouth to shut

When the cacophony in your head screams too loud,

Acknowledge the voices, but heed their words not.

Whenever every effort seems so futile,

and every situation puts you in a spot

When life becomes dire and encouragement remains little, 

Trust in yourself – it is not all for naught.

Whenever mornings turn to harsh reminders of scars left unhealed, 

and problems stay unsolved even with thought after another thought

You are my brave Fireheart, and you shall never yield

Know that each passing day is a battle valiantly fought.
