Welcome to another chapter of Melody in you~!
Today, I made a special (but still in the story) chapter for mother's day!(Well was supposed to be, but- the author has a life out of Wattpad) I'm especially proud of my mom and I'm sure some of you are too!
Having said that, let's hop onto the chapter!*

-Y/N POV-

As the first light of the sun hit the roofs of the smaller buildings, the early risers started to open their eyes as well. Sadly I am not like that, if that so my brother would have lost his job.

"Y/N, I'm sorry to interrupt your beauty sleep, but it's already time to wake up." Ace said as he "gently" shook me.

"...Ok...I'm up" I groggily said, as I rubbed the dream out of my eyes.

"You should be since this is a special day for all of us." said my brother as he was already closing the window.

As I was getting out of bed, I looked at my calendar to see what he meant by that. I froze when I saw what day it is.

Mothers day.

The day which every one of us waits as if it was Christmas.
(My mom would be so jealous when she sees this or be proud of me...wish me luck QwQ)

That news soon made me woke up immediately.

Let me explain why this day is so important to us.

Every mother's day, when my mom still lived, we always asked her what she would like for us to give her. Of course, as a good mother, she always said that she doesn't need anything. But we nagged to tell us, which she easily gave in. She always asked for the same thing; an antique doll or book. As time passed, and our mother was no longer with us, we still bought vintage things for Mother's day, to remember her. It became our family tradition.

I quickly started to dress up, put on my necklace, and went to wake up my father, since he needs both of us to wake up.
(Relatable, my dad needs me, my mom, and even my sister to wake up :T)

As we FINALLY woke up our dad and had our breakfast we went out to an antique shop which is located in the Natura district.

As we entered the shop we all headed our separate ways to find gifts that would make our mom proud.

I was searching for small figurines, to put in her collection, well mine, since I'm also can get fascinated by these things.

I found some Dolly-faced dolls, some vintage barbies, an original Raggedy Ann and Andy from 1915, but what really caught my attention was an 18th-century German porcelain civil boy.

It had rosy cheeks, ocean blue eyes, a black hat and jacket, and some worn-out shoes. It also had blue jeans, a buttoned-up blouse, and a black leathered bag.

Just as I reached for it another hand grabbed the same doll as I. When I turned around I was met with a screen, which as second passed I recognized as the manager of 1010.

Neon J

I quickly took away my hand from the porcelain boy, as I was constantly apologizing.

"You don't have to apologize, you were the first to touch it, you should have it." Said Neon. It looks like he doesn't recognize me.

"No, it's total-" I was about to oppose, but Neon J cut me off with "No, really, I insist"

There was an awkward silence between us, while I was putting the little boy in my bag. I noticed his bag full of vintage things. From books to miniature things to even accessories for ladies.
(Let's all accept the fact that he is a fabulous man. Sure he can be bi, gay, ace or pan, but definitely not straight...Damn now I imagined him in a vintage lady dress XD)

"So...you like, vintage stuff?" I suddenly said trying to break the awkward tension between us.

"Oh, yeah tho I'm not sure if you would like to hear about it." Said Neon.

"We literally just had this awkward tension thanks to this little 18th-century little warrior." I jokingly said as both of us chuckled to it.

"True. It's just, it gives such a nostalgic feeling. From the war... my lost friends." He paused, giving me the signal that I just asked a touchy thing.

"I'm sorry of forcing you to this..." I said regretting my past actions.

"It's ok-" Said Neon J, But was quickly interrupted by the yelling of a weirdly energetic dad.

"Y/N!!!!! HAVE YOU FOUND SOMETHING??? WE HAVE TO GO!!"

"COMING!!" I yelled back to him.

"Well then, it was nice talking to you miss Y/N" said Neon J with a reassuring voice.

"It was glad as well mister..."

"Neon, just call me Neon." He said with still that undying emotion in his screen. (...Girl, how can you read his screen?!? It's literally a radar!! Tell me your secret!!)

"Well then Neon, it was a nice chat, good bye!" I waved at him, while showing my brightest smiles.

"To you too songbird!" He waved back. I blushed upon the nickname, but continued my way to through the isles of dolls.

-Neon J's P.O.V.-

I finally arrived to the mansion, when I was greeted with the boys.

"ATTENTION!" All of them saluted me which I quickly responded back.

"Welcome home Cap'n" Rin said in the name of all 5 of them.

"Anything new while I was gone, soldier?" I said with a calm voice while I was packing away the things I bought.

"Before you arrived a package came to our mail, posted for you, it's in the living room" Said Purl-hew while putting away the clothes.

I was curious, but still kept my posture.

"Understood! You may retrieve" I said while the guys left.

As I was in the living room I started to see the package. Above the box there was a letter, with these words written in it:

"I'm sorry if what happened with your friends. I hope this will make you feel better!

P.S.: Don't worry! I bought a Raggedy Ann instead!:)"

I opened up the box to be met with the familiar little soldier.

I smiled to myself. (With what, cap'n?)

Miss Y/N... Is a peculiar lady.

*Aaand this is how it ends!

Y/N was about to touch the doll when at the same time Neon went for it as well.

Neon: -touches the doll and Y/N's hand-

Y/N:-Yankes her hand out of his, and with this she also yeeted the doll out of existence-

*CRASH!*

Neon:...

Y/N: ...

Me:...Welp, I don't know if I shall be proud, Bc you are as imbecile as me, or be fricking mad because THAT DOLL ISN'T CHEAP!!!
