Frisk pov:

I woke up to see a bright light. I then could hear voices but I couldn't quite understand what they said. I finally open my eyes and saw I was at alphys.

I try to stand up but it hurt to. "Ahhh" I said and alphys came to me. "Oh your awake" she said and pull me back down. "What happened" I ask.

Then I remembered. I was running with sans and those monsters came and hurt me really good and sans protected me. Wait sans I thought. I turn to see if he is there.

I sigh when I saw him next to me still sleeping. "Oh your awake frisk" I heard alphys say. "Yeah I'm awake" I said. "How are you feeling" she ask. "I'm feeling better thank you" I said. She smile at me. "Hey punk" I heard undyne say. I turn to look at her.

"Next time when your in trouble..." she stop at got closer to my face."DONT SCARE US LIKE THAT OKAY" she scream at me and woke sans up. "I'm sorry undyne I didn't mean to scare you guys it's just... never mind" I said.

"Now now undyne frisk is right she was endanger and she is fine now right frisk" alphys said and I nodded. "Is sans okay too" I ask. "I don't really know but I will go check him" alphys said and carried sans to a weird machine.

I don't know why but I got a weird feeling in my heart. It felt like everything was going to change. I watch as alphys expression changed.
"Oh dear" she said I started to panic.

"Alphys what is going on" I said. "Frisk I... i don't know what to say" alphys said. "Just tell me please" i beg for her. "Well the machine reads some signs that maybe sans will..." she stop for a moment.

She carry sans to me and said "he may not make it". My whole face turn pale. I could feel tears starting to fall. I could only think of how this might be the end. I could only feel how empty I would be without him.

I felt something soft under my hand. It was sans. He look at me with that smile. I hug him, and kiss his forehead. "I promise I will make the last few days you live the best" I said to cat sans. He smile and blush a little.

I stood up and walk to alphys, sans was still in my arms. "Alphys thank you for the help and the news" I said. "I'm so sorry frisk I wish I could do more but..." I cut her off. "No its fine you did your best and thank you" I said.

"No problem now have fun you too" alphys said and I walk out the door and headed to sans and papyrus house. On the way I thought, how am I going to explain this to papy.

Sans pov:

So I only have a little bit to live huh??

Heh guess is true...

Animal like them are fragile creatures and with a little they are gone....

I feel a little ill but I know whatever frisk is doing she will do it right. I just can't believe using my powers almost cost me death. Heh I should be more careful. I could see frisk sad eyes.

I could tell she was scared of losing me. And to be honest I am too. But if I die at least I will die with the one I love. I purr a little to cheer up frisk. It worked and she giggle which made me blush.

Heh I guess I am luck to have her around with me.

*at sans and papyrus house*

Frisk pov:

As I walked in with sans still in my hands I heard someone "HUMAN, SANS ARE YOU TWO ALRIGHT ". I turn to look at papyrus and said "oh sorry pap were fine" I said. "IM GLAD YOUR SAFE UNDYING TOLD ME WHAT HAD HAPPENED" papyrus said.

I figured she would tell him. After all he is sans brother. "HUMAN WHY YOU LOOK SO SAD" ask papyrus. He could tell, I was sad, sad of losing sans. "It's nothing papyrus but can you hold sans for a little I need to get some stuff" I said. "SURE HUMAN I WILL HOLD SANS" papyrus said and got sans in his arms.

I smiled at him and went to get some stuff. I got a first aid kit, sans ketchup bottle and some blankets just in case. I walk down stairs and gave papyrus the ketchup bottle to feed sans. He feed him as we all laid down at the couch. We all have a ruff day so we all slept at the couch together.

*next day*

Sans pov:

I woke up earlier than I expected. Papyrus and frisk were still asleep so I just got closer to frisk. I snuggled next to her and move closer to her trying not to wake her up. I closed my eyes and then felt ill. I must have moved a lot when I felt ill because I felt frisk wake up.

"Sans what's wrong are you okay" she ask. I try to answer but I felt more pain than before. My vision was also getting blurry. I could only hear voices that said "Sans" "BROTHER ARE YOU ALRIGHT" "what's happened to him" "WE NEED TO GO TO ALPHYS RIGHT NOW".

After the whole talk I felt someone carry me and then my vision went all black.

Frisk pov:

I ran with papyrus carrying sans in my arms. I knew I should have been more careful. I felt tears roll down but I wash them off. We ran all the way to alphys lab.

*at alphys lab*

Alphys open the door and I said "Alphys we need help it's sans". "Oh my... put him down on the table" she said. Soon she examined sans while me and papyrus waited impatiently. I walk back and forth stressing over the whole situation. I felt really guilty about this.

It's my fault if only I haven't slept. Maybe he could still be fine. I felt arms around me. It was papyrus, I also realized I was crying. "HUMAN ITS NOT YOUR FAULT EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE FINE SANS IS STRONG HE WILL BE FINE" he said. I hug him back closer trying to stop crying.

*an 1 hour later*

Alphys came in and walk to me and papyrus. I ran to her and ask "so is he okay what's happening". She looked down and said "I'm sorry but I believe he is... dying". Tears started to form on my eyes and on papyrus eyes to. "But he is still alive you can see him if you want" alphys said.

I thanked her for what she has done and me and papyrus went inside. As we went in and saw sans I hug him and told papyrus he could have a moment while I wash my face. He agreed and I went to wash my face.

*a few minutes later*

Sans pov:

I woke up when papyrus was crying. "Hey bro" I said but I sounded so weak. "BROTHER I SORRY" he said. "Hey pap it's okay I'm fine" I said and smiled at him. He smiled back and then I wondered "where is frisk". "SHE IS COMING BUT BROTHER PLEASE PROMISE ME YOULL BE OKAY" he said. "I will be fine I promise pap" I said.

The door open and it was frisk. Papyrus then left the room and frisk was next to me. "Hey frisk" I said. "Sans how are you feeling" she ask. "Fine for now but frisk can I tell ya something" I said. She came close and I said "promise me that you will take care of papyrus for me if I die". Frisk started to cry again.

She hug me close and kiss my head. "I promise but I'm going to miss you" she said. "I will always be with you" I said. I put my paw on her cheek. She smiled at me then I felt a painful hit in my chest. "Sans" frisk said before it all went black.

Frisk pov:

I watch as sans gave his final breath and closed his eyes. I cried helpless tears and yelled "Aaaaahhhh sans!!!!". I cried while holding him close to me. His cat body on my chest as a tear fell on his face. Soon I saw a light. It was coming from sans.

A light blue light glowed brighter and I put sans on the at table again. "I love you" I said as another year fell to his body and the light grow much more than before and everything went white.
