Lukas' POV

'I can't do this' I thought to myself as I stood at the alter. Petra stood next me and, I suppose she can read minds because she punched me in the arm. "Ow! What was that for?!" I exclaimed. "Remember, I will break your nose if I need to." She reminded me. "Yeah, yeah..." I said while rolling my eyes.

"You're not getting cold feet, are you Lukas?" Ivor snickered. I glared at him and said--

"No! A-Actually...it's a little hot in here..." I said, but then I noticed that I said it almost immediately after Ivor teased me. Jess and Ivor tried to contain their laughter over my stammering and nervousness from near by. But all of a sudden, Petra punched me in the arm again; "Shhh! It's starting..." She whispered loudly. After she said that, I panicked for a second, trying to calm myself down just before the music began to play. In my panicked state, I hadn't noticed that everyone was in position and that the guests went silent. As the piano keys tenderly began to play, the doors opened at the opposite end of the room to reveal the flower girl, Ivor and Harper's adopted 9 year old daughter: Amber. She walked down the aisle, throwing down white rose petals as she went. And, as if on que, my soon-to-be-wife appeared in the doorway. My eyes widened and I felt my face begin to burn red almost immediately upon seeing her.

Wow......She...Wow....

She had her vail draped over her face, covering her sparkling emerald-green eyes and beautiful smile. Her Raven-black hair was in a braided bun and she was wearing a simple white, off the shoulder, sweetheart topped dress. Jess (remember, male) was the one leading her down the aisle instead of her father. (Because, as I said, their parents are dead. Dark I know....) Jess looked at me then walked next to me, him being my Best Man, leaving Jesse with me. I lifted her vail off from over her face, and Ivor, the minister, began the ceremony--

Ivor: "Ladies and Gentlemen, we are gathered here today to celebrate the unity of two lives." He then turned to me, and I began my vows.

"I, Lukas Porter, take thee, Jesse Taber, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness or in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I pledge myself to you."

Jesse then repeated after me, and Ivor turned back to me and continued " Lukas, do you take Jesse to be your wedded wife, for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do..." I said dreamingly.

Jesse's POV

Ivor: "...And do you, Jesse, take Lukas to be your wedded husband, for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do..." I answered strongly and happily.

Ivor: "Them by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride..."

And with that we both leaned closer and I gently pressed my lips against Lukas', and immediately the crowd burst into cheers. This is one of, if not the most, memorial kiss I'll ever share with Lukas. When we pulled away, he twined his fingers through mine and gently held my hand.

And I'm proud to say that I can now refer to Lukas as my husband.

Ever since that day, we've been a happy married couple and we always will be. We've gone on a few small adventures, Lukas is working on a new book, I've still been helping run Beacontown along with Lukas and Radar. And everything's been so wonderful. We're actually planning on going on a new adventure soon! But ummm....I recently found out that we miiight have to put that off by a few....

...years...?

Eeek! I can't believe it's over....it's done. 😞 But as sad as I am that this story is done, Thank you so much for all the support on this story! I have a lot of new ideas for other stories! But it will take some time. I'm currently working on a new Lukesse book and a sequel to this book. And also the Art book that's coming very soon! Oh!
