(At the Arena)

Jesse's POV

We all stood on the platform of snow, with our team on one end and the robbers on the opposite end.

Otto:" Alright competitors! Now that everyone is in position, I can explain the rules. The main goal of the game is that with your shovels, you will attempt to knock the floor out from underneath your opponent's feet, while trying to dodge your opponent's attacks. The Gladiators will also be a threat. They with be throwing TNT from above. The only rules are; on violence, and no other weapons or items other than your shovels. If Jesse's team wins, then the criminals will have to turn themselves in. If the criminals win, then Jesse will relinquish The Enchanted Flint & Steel and the Atlas to the criminals. When an entire team is eliminated then we will have our victors! Is everyone ready to begin?" Otto said into the microphone. No one spoke up, indicating that everyone was ready. After a moment, Otto spoke up-

"Alright, the game begins..."

Everyone got into a battle stance, preparing to attack. On my team are; Lukas, Petra, Nell, Jess, and myself. There were also five on the criminals side (no names given) We all put our game faces on. This is it...

Otto:" Now!"

Immediately after Otto began the game, everyone charged forward, shovels in hand. I charged into the chaos as my team started destroying the ground underneath the criminal's feet, but they kept dodging. I went after one of the criminals and he was more than happy to go after me as well. Wonderful. My first instinct was to was to battle it out but my weapon wasn't a sword like I'm used to, it was a shovel. I had to remind myself that if I'd try to use it like a sword then I'd most likely get disqualified. We both stood in front  of each other, waiting for the other to make the first move but we were interrupted by a bit of a sizzling sound from above. I look up and, low and behold, a block of TNT was coming straight for us. I jumped out of the way in an attempt to avoid the explosion, unlike the robber, who didn't react in time and was ultimately struck by the TNT. He fell through the massive hole in the ground and fell into the water that was a good 10 blocks below us.

Eliminated...

Lukas' POV

I started to destroy the floor of snow with my shovel. Until, a single robber came up to me and started attacking me by trying to destroy the floor. But I jumped out of the way in time. I counterattacked but, he too, avoided them. Out of nowhere, I heard some sort of sizzling sound and before I knew it, I was blown forward a bit. The shockwave knocked me off balance and I rolled on the ground, miraculously not falling through a hole. A second passed and I opened my eyes to be greeted by a tall man standing overhead of me. He raised his shovel, prepared to to stab it into my flesh and eliminate me. In a panic, I grabbed his leg and pulled forward with all my strength, causing him to fall over on his back.
I got up instantly and raised my shovel to try and knock the floor underneath him, while I still had the chance. But to my surprise, I saw no one. All that remained was a hole where the robber used to be.

Eliminated...
To my right, I saw a red-haired girl wearing a uniform looking at the hole, shovel in the air. "Thanks" "Don't mention it" she said jut before running off to fight, as Petra does...I smiled to myself and continued to fight.

Jesse's POV

I run over to help Nell in the corner of the platform, as she battles a robber. She dodged his attack by the skin of her teeth and she tried to get back at him but he dodged too. I stood next to Nell and slowly walked forward along with her as the robber walked backward, farther toward the corner. When he did notice that he was cornered, it was too late, and me and Nell, at the same time, struck for the blocks of snow out from underneath his feet. And he, having no way of escape, fell into the water.

Eliminated...

Not half a second later, I'm shoved out of the way by an unknown force. I turned around just in time to see my brother get exploded by a block of TNT. The explosion made a big hole in the ground that Jess had no chance of escaping, but perhaps the most traumatizing part was that because he was struck with TNT, he wouldn't fall into the water...

Eliminated...
