Lukas' POV

Jesse's eyes started to flutter open I noticed that her face was back to normal. No cut, no purple swollen cheek, nothing. She looked up at me and noticed my tears. Jesse gently raised her hand to cup my cheek and I held her hand in place. She's up! She's fine! I continued to cry but they were now tears of joy.

Jesse's POV

I slowly opened my eyes after, what I last remember, being saved by Petra. I was shocked and confused when my eyes fell upon a crying Lukas. What happened? Which team won? Did we win? I'm so confused...

The first thing I do is cup Lukas' cheek in my hand. I quietly asked- "What's wrong...?"

He didn't answer me. No one did. Instead, he swiftly swept me up in his arms and hugged me tightly while crying into my shoulder. It was as if he was afraid that if he let go, he'd lose me. Though a bit shocked at first, I hugged him back while stroking his short blonde hair. "Don't you ever do that to me again!" He cried. Before I was able to answer, he pulled away from our hug and pressed his lips to mine. I didn't hesitate to kiss him back, as I cupped his face in my hands and I felt him wrap his arms around my waist. I couldn't help but let a single tear roll down and off my face. We pulled away after a moment and I stared into his gorgeous blue eyes, as he stared into my green ones.

"Lukas, did we win...? I asked, nervous to know the answer.

"I don't know..."

"What if we lost..?" I asked worryingly.

"You didn't" Someone said. But it wasn't Petra. Or Jess, or Nell. It was Otto. He appeared behind us and we stood up to face him. He seemed a bit mad, which was very unlike him. He was usually very calm and collected, even when people were treated him like dirt, or under stressful situations. "He hit you." He continued, yet very vaguely. We all stayed silent, not know where the heck Otto was going with this, until realization hit me.

"He broke the rules..." I said, thinking out loud. Everyone looked at me for a second before turning back to Otto, still dead silent. He slowly nodded and continued--

Otto:"The only rules are; no violent play and no other weapons or items other than your shovel..." He repeated, echoing what he said before the game began.

~Third person~

Realizing their mistake, one of the robbers (the one that fought Jesse) tried to slowly creep away but failed. Petra grabbed the collar of their uniform to prevent them from leaving, while still keeping eyes on Otto. She then, jerked him back over. Jesse asked Otto if that meant that they won and he nodded.

Lukas's POV

Otto nodded and I turned to Jesse and she gave me the most beautiful smile. I scooped her up in my arms and spun her around for a moment, laughing happily has we spun. I set her back down and everyone started to surround us. We all started hugging and complimenting each other. Once we were all done celebrating, I turned to the group of criminals that were being held by the Gladiators, and cringed. These men disgust me. I wanted, so badly, to punch every single one of them, especially the one that nearly killed Jesse. But I reluctantly held myself back. "So what's going to happen to these guys?" I said in a disgusted tone of voice. "Well, you won. I think it's only fair you decide their fate."

"Huh, could we send them to the quartz mines?"

Oh geez, the quarts mines...It's so unsettling...They don't even do anything to keep the pigman away so they just...stare at you while you mine. It seemed like a fair punishment. I don't want to punish them, Quartz mines or not, but they must pay for what they've done. These men are dangerous and there's no guarantee that they won't cause anymore harm.

Otto: "Oh no, we got rid of the Quartz mines when I took control."

That makes sense. I mean, the Quartz mines were a form of punishment when this place was still rigged. Thank goodness that when Otto took over he made this place worth while. It's actually fun again! He's made so many changes and he made to so much more less...cruel. And getting rid of the Quartz mines was defiantly a step in the right direction. So what are we gonna do with them? Maybe send them over to sky city? I heard that Aiden, Maya, and Gill all spent three years of community service. I know that the Sunshine Institute was shut down for good, can't blame them. Man, I don't really know where else to send them other than prison. After a few minutes of discussion, we eventually decided on regular old prison. Four of the robbers were to spend 3 years in prison, but not the last one. The one that nearly killed Jesse got an extra 2 due to that little stunt he pulled. After deciding the robbers' fates and thanking Otto for everything, we were on our way home. A group of guards from Otto generously volunteered to escort the robbers all the way back to Beacontown, and into the prison, to ensure that they didn't try to escape. And as soon as we knew it, they were all prisoners.

Ever since then, Me, Jesse, and Radar have been taking care of Beacontown. And preparing of the wedding, of course. We all try to visit Axel, Olivia, and Harper and Ivor as much as possible. Petra and Jess have been going off on adventures with Jack and Nurm. And I finally filed in that complaint to the Museum about their security...

Okay, okay okay! So this isn't the end of the story yet! There will be about 2 or 3 more chapters. So there is more! But I can't believe that it's almost over! It's kinda sad actually....I've really enjoyed writing this story and now it's almost over...*violin music plays* Anyway, I'll upload soon, have a good rest of your day and see you later.
