It was a long three hour ceremony with full splendid ritual and number of oaths and versus we need to speak throughout, most of the ceremony was out of my understanding, but when they told me to pay my tribute to the last ruler of Millensh, I realised the time has arrived.

Lighting thelamp in front of my grandpa, I folded my hands and closed my eyes offering two minutes of my silence to his soul.

I loved him dearly, after my mom's loss he was the only one I counted upon.

"Prince Alexus Zenith Aham of the House Aham, the future King of the Aham's, the first born child of late King Zenthus Aham and late Queen Arina Aham. As one of the eldest house member do you accept Princess Kiara Matheli Millenrai the first born granddaughter of late King Maheshwar Millenrai as your queen."

After hearing such a long hefty intro I was already deluded with my current scenario, somewhere from the crowd I did hear some voices apparently yelling my name with enthusiasm, I was damn sure it was Lucifer Mondez, seriously that guy can't be serious for a second too.

"I do." short and quick was Zenith's reply as he stepped down the aisle to let Sid come up and take the oaths by his side.

I looked at my chocolate brown eyed best friend; he apparently had this unfathomable grin plastered on his face, mocking me in his own mischievous way.

Soon Sid took the oaths followed my Dionar, it was finally my turn to do the needful.

"I Jyaya the third, take this honour to help Rajkumari Kiara Matheli Millenrai to take her needful oaths and help her in any way possible during her long reign"

I came forward as I handed him the scroll. I nodded my head at him as I looked forward for the rituals to get done with.

After chanting some words and versus and finally signing down the legal papers, came forward Jyaya as he signalled me to sit on the throne.

It was an old ancestral sitting it surely looks way bigger than my size, yet it was so splendid that it caught everyone's attention.

It certainly felt ecstatic to sit on the throne. It was Jyaya's voice which caught me out of my daze.

"Rajkumari Kiara Matheli Millenrai, do you accept your duty towards the crown and pledge your life for the betterment and the prosperity of the house of Millensh"

"I do." as soon as I said that it was awfully silent, but as the crown was placed on my head, the boom of cheers and claps were deafening as I let a sigh of relief.

Finally I completed my mom's wish and the feeling is quite satisfying.

Everyone came forward to congratulate me and some of them curtsied which was honestly really very weird the old Jyaya was on my back just like a hawk, not leaving my side for a second, but honestly I was really fortunate of him or else I would have been totally eaten by money thirsty vultures.

I was about to take a leave and go into the comfort of my room, but yet I was intervened by one of those stuck up relatives.

"Queen Kiara!" said the voice that apparently caught me in my sheer escape. I turned around as I faced the middle aged man wearing an expensive looking suit but his eye's which was currently studying me from head to toe told me that he would be my least favourite person really soon.

"And yes you're?" I said that as soon as I saw him, but my eyes were currently searching for my Jyaya who can save me from this disaster. Apparently he was busy chatting with Sid and his parents from a distance.

"Oh you don't remember me! Actually we met before too, but you were really a small child back then. My name is Jeff Klaus and here is my wife Patricia Klaus, apparently we're distant cousins of your mother." As soon as I heard the word cousin's warning bells started to ring inside my head, I very well know my mom hardly liked any of her cousins so most certainly these two won't do any good.

My eyes racked down the lady standing beside him, with her perfect styled hair, makeup and the amount of perfume oozing out of her body screams only one thing 'I-got-attitude'

"I see, so how may I help you Mr Jeff" that's a first, usually I'm not so polite with stranger's

"Well basically I know this isn't the right place to discuss these stuffs, but I got some serious news for you Miss Kiara, certainly your company Millenrai Shipping's would be beneficial from it" as soon as he said that, a sarcastic smile imprinted on my face. Certainly I was already prepared for this situation.

"Okay...And.." I let him continue.

"As you very well know our company Jeff and Son's has apparently many potential clients in the south sea 's which would like to have your services for packaging and transport, so I was thinking that why not Millenrai Shipping's invest in the Jeff and Son's company and be the business partners" He put forward the idea.

I looked at his gleaming eye's he surely looks persuasive enough but looks can be decisive in business that I have learned, about his company I did heard the name, but me being far away studying won't let me get a good current scenario of the situation, I was currently desperately hoping for Jyaya to intervene in this conversation.

Fortunately a voice intervened but it was the last person who I was keen to intervene.

Zenith came forward like a hawk hiding behind the shadows, that I didn't even realised that he was already standing right beside me, as he held his hand on the small of my back he smiled brightly at me. His smile eventually amused me, for a person being so dark and twisted he surely fakes a good smile.

"Mr Jeff, I hope I haven't invaded your private conversation with my Queen." the way he emphasized the word My Queen was quite sceptical.

"No-No surely not, I was just discussing some trivial matters with queen" said Mr Jeff hurriedly as I saw the nervousness clearly overwhelming his features, I wonder why everyone is scared of Zenith.

"Then I surely assume that my Queen won't feel any discomfort if I ask Mr Jeff what exactly he was discussing, after all I'm the first protector of the Queen of Millensh," said Zenith as he held his hands on my shoulder, clearly indicating his motive that he won't leave until and unless he is fed with the information.

"So tell me, what is the matter." he said with a serious tone, I can literally see Mr Jeff shivering and sweating in front of me. I wonder why? Is Zenith so threatening? What kind of reputation is he having among all these people, that everyone is scared of him? Yet here I'm currently clueless of why exactly he is so indifferent with me.

"Mr Jeff here has apparently proposed a business deal for Millenrai Shipping's, as Mr Jeff's company has good contacts in the south sea and he says that it would be really beneficial for us if we invest in his company." I spoke out the exact words that Mr Jeff told me.

But the look on Zenith's face was quite more dangerous then I assumed, with sharp piercing grey eyes he glared at Mr Jeff as he said those exact words.

"Surely Mr Jeff, you were really kind enough to propose such a magnificent deal but unfortunately Millenrai Shipping's is investing in some other foreign traders, surely if you send us the renewed quotation of your proposal we can look into the matters for once." said Zenith, as soon as he said that Mr Jeff nodded his head and without any further words he and his wife left the place.

As soon as they went away, I looked at Zenith "Why do you always need to scare away people with your glares, why did you do that with Mr Jeff?"

"For the time being, I don't want to mess with you Kiara. I was just trying to protect you from some money greedy vultures," said Zenith angrily, as he took a hold of my hand and started dragging me towards the corner of the room, where we can literally see everyone around yet no one can see us.

"You see there, many of them here came just to make some good impression on you, fed you with their lies. Because they think they can fool you, and I must say they are right in their own way, because you can be an easy target, people can fool you just like that idiot Jeff guy did seconds ago."

At Zenith's reply I was really shocked, he indirectly declared me as a fool.

"How dare you call me a fool? Besides what do you know about business, god knows you ruined our chance of a potential business partner?" I literally screamed at him.

To which he started laughing, laughing as if I cracked up a big joke. The way he was laughing lunatically really scared me because when Zenith's find something amusing it is not pleasant.

"You're still a child aren't you? The one whom you're supporting so much Mr Jeff is apparently a bankrupt, his company Jeff and son's is going under a major bankruptcy all thanks to his greediness and low thinking, you know what let me guess how he persuaded you. First he came forward introduced you to him and then his wife, gaining your trust that he is a family man and he respects family that was your first strike Kiara. He fed you lies for his mind exactly knows what woman sees in a man, they know woman like a Family man so he introduced you to his wife." I was shocked at Zenith's exact words which were becoming true.

"Your second strike was when he mentioned that he was a distant cousin of your mother, even though it won't be a lie. But tell me what a good way rather than being relatives with the opposite party it surely a building step for trust."

"And your third strike was when he oh so sweetly mentioned about the benefits of you signing the deal. Tell me out of so many people why he targeted you, he knows that you're new to the industry and he also knows you're super rich with your daddy dear leaving such a big company after you, plus your grandpa leaving you his own company too. Surely you're a walking talking money lending machine if I must say." said Zenith with such a cold and void voice at which I doubted whether it is really Zenith talking or a mere robot.

"God only knows the next thing you know, he proposes the idea of having your hand for marriage to his son and-" I didn't let him continue I was really fed up of his smart talking.

"So what!" I literally shocked him with my voice, I not only back talked him but I also challenged his ideology.

He scrutinized me for a long minute and then he continued "So what? Are you serious Kiara, are you willing to marry someone for some business deal?" he asked being enthralled himself as if he can't believe what I just said

"Yes why not? If it is beneficial for both the parties then I don't think there's any problem to get involved in such kind of agreement" I was really serious this time.

I know I was being fool, but then I also learned that being in love never really helped anyone. The idea and the mere concept of true love is just a sheer lie. Reality doesn't work like that.

I don't know why but apparently my talking's really hurt Zenith because he looked at me with a worried expression. "Why Kiara? Why do you have such low thoughts for being in love, why do you hate it so much?" it was a genuine question but somehow it held some meaning in it.

"Because every time I thought to love people, they betrayed me and some left me. I mean look at the example of my own parents, see what love had done to them, it had became the end of them." It was true, if my parents never really loved each other, they both could be still alive. Not with each other but at least be alive. Yet just may be, they had different fates.

"Enjoy the evening Zenith, I'm tired and I would really appreciate some peaceful time alone. See you in the evening event." With that I walked past Zenith leaving him staring at the wall all alone in the corner.

I closed the door of my room, as I let a sigh of relief, being with Zenith is always very hectic as the sudden rush of adrenaline inside me and heart beatings fast, I hardly could breathe. If I would be honest with myself, Zenith actually saved me from Mr Jeff and whatever trap he was presenting in for me. But then I wondered what kind of knowledge Zenith has about business, he surely has more than me. Back in school he always excelled in business studies but I presumed that it was an Aham thing, I guess he has knowledge of my own fore-father's company way better than me. Which was kind of threatening to me, he indirectly challenged my decision taking skills, but I can tell he is far beyond my reach. I surely can't compete with him even if I want to, but he did motivate me today. That's was the reason why I ended my outing today.

I could have stayed back there and enjoyed my celebration, but I was curious. Curious to learn more about my own business that I'm soon going to take over.

Removing the gorgeous crown from my head, I kept it on my dressing table. It was a beautiful jewel crown designed with rubies and diamond. Surely it cost fortune, I changed back into some comfortable clothing as I opened my laptop and sat on the bed.

There were some files I need to check of Millenrai's that would eventually help me understand the whole background of the business, I got the password from my Uncle's laptop last time I was on it. Surely he won't mind if I accessed the information from his account, because currently they haven't created my profile.

I was reading down the lines, the basic business orders we had recently. Surprisingly Zenith was right; we have recently indeed invested in our foreign clients in South Africa and Malaysia. I also tried searching for Mr Jeff's company, unfortunately the database didn't showed me the result.

I don't know what went through my mind, but I typed in Zenith's name in it. It showed no results, well that was expected but still I wasn't satisfied with the information, as I typed in another information 'Vridhaan Aham'.

And voila! I got the information.

I was shocked, Vridhaan Aham apparently had invested around a million in Millenrai Shipping's all these years, and it also shows that at times of crisis it helped the company clearing our debts. No wonder why Zenith is so well acknowledged with the business, his Uncle surely had shown some keen interest in the company I wonder why.

Was it because of my Mom? Well I would never know.

I shrugged, as I closed the laptop preparing myself to have a good sleep till the evening, because I know if I don't wake up on time Calypso, Aditi and Shirley will come banging at my door dragging me out of my peaceful haven.

I fell backwards on my fluffy bed, waiting for my body to get lulled in the feeling of softness, but a harsh poke on my back discomforted my efforts to sleep.

As I grabbed the object of my disturbance.

It was a book, the book Sid gave me minutes before my crowning, he told me about it had the story of my ancestor Queen Krisantham Millenrai, surely the late Queen didn't had the pleasant of the story as her whole family was assassinated by the Aham's. But this book surely had the detail explanation of why things went wrong in her time.

No doubt that if I start reading it, it would surely help me to go to sleep soon, a book always helps to sleep I have learned.

So I did started reading it, only to realise that her story would soon become the story of my life.

I know this is very much disturbing but there's a story within a story in my next and FINAL! CHAPTER OF 'A MAVERICK GIRL'S TALE' !!!!!!!!!!!!!

CHAPTER 46: I CHOSE FREEDOM, IS GOING TO BE PUBLISHED ON 22ND OF SEPTEMBER 2017.

The book is surely going to end on '22nd of September' so mark the date on calender's.
