"You should really try those earrings, it gives you a Queen like aura-," said Calypso as she kept on blabbering about what should I wear today and what should I not. Apparently she came to my rescue as a fashion police to my already reprimanded fashion sense.

Today is an important day for sure; today I'm going to be crowned as the Queen of Millensh officially and with a fully fledged ceremony on my cards, it surely going to be one of the most happening events.

"Calypso just cut the deal, let Kiara decided what she needs to wear, as after all it's her big day. Don't you agree with me Shirley," asked Aditi to Shirley who was sitting on one of the red couches kept in my room. "I totally agree with her" said Shirley as she brings over my mega- glamorous dress.

It was golden and cream coloured Indian styled dress, adorned with red blouse with sparkling goldenish detail embroidery work on it. The Lehenga which is the lower portion of the dress, was equally voluminous swept down the ground just like a wedding dress, but the only difference was that this wasn't just any dress. It was a dress specially designed for my coronation ceremony.

"My...my Kiara, I'm just so envious of you. This dress is freaking gorgeous, who the hell designed it" asked Calypso currently gawking and staring at my new found clothing.

"I know right! This is just gorgeous; apparently it is designed by Andrey Manhar a complete douche if you ask me." I said that to her as I recalled my first conversation with him over the phone call last year. It was something related to the dress that I wanted to wear in a party.

"Oh my god! Are you talking about 'The Andrey Manher' the famous Indian designer." Calypso literally screamed in my ears.

"Yes it is him, I can tell for sure that he is quite famous and all- Ouch," I yelped at Aditi as she poked the hair pin harshly on my scalp. "Sorry" she mumbled as she continued working on my hair.

"You don't have a single clue Kiara, Andrey Manher is the most celebrated designer of all times and just to get him design a dress for you is like a dream come true. How do you get him to do that for you at the first place" Calypso asked as I can tell that she was being restless with all the fuzz.

"He is friends with my Step Uncle, so yeah it kind of worked out for me." I said that ignorantly to which Calypso gawked at me.

"Oh speaking of your step Uncle, last time you told me about him. You said he is good as dead after that incident." asked Aditi, as I recalled him getting attacked.

"Yeah he was quite roughen up, but I guess medicines worked well for him and now he is back on his feet's, surprisingly according to the Jyaya he is trying to change himself for being good" I said that with the air of humour in my tone.

"And do you believe it" asked Aditi.

"Oh please, the last thing that I can trust is to believe that Randhir Millenrai has turned saint, he is a good actor. But I guess he eventually made peace with the fact that he would never ever get a chance to sit on the throne, until and unless I'm still alive" I explained back.

Suddenly we heard Shirley's phone ringing as she busied herself talking to someone on the phone. Currently Aditi was trying some hairstyles on me which she saw on YouTube. While she was doing that, we saw Shirley again entering the room.

"Hey Kiara I guess I need to go, I got a call from Zach, apparently Jovie and Lucifer got themselves into another fight," explained Shirley smiling politely at me.

"Damn! These guys can't stay put for a second!" I exclaimed. "You can go Shirley, will manage this on our own." I said as she hurriedly left the room.

It's been a month since we graduated as fresh High school students from Elite High. The after party was really awesome, with everybody going wild. But it was the most memorable moments of my life.

"I just can't believe, all of you guys are here. I never thought you'll be flying all the way to Millensh just to celebrate my crowning ceremony." I said to them, as I was really happy to see them here.

It was Calypso who spoke first, "It's not a big deal Kiara, we're all good friends after all. Besides you're my family, and if you're talking about those stupid boys they all just came to eat some good Indian food" at Calypso's comment, me and Aditi cracked into heaps of laughter.

After a long tiring hour of Aditi experimenting with my hair and Calypso doing my make up. Wearing my coronation dress there I stand in front of the mirror, looking nothing but splendid. The girl who was standing in front of the mirror was Just marvellous with her Long dress , the traditional jewellery. My dark locks cascading down my shoulders and my fierce dark doe eye's which had this glint of spark in them. I really looked regal and classy indeed.

"I'm speechless! What kind of banished magic you guys have used on me?" I literally enthralled down on them, they certainly did some first class job on me.

"Oh please, give yourself a little credit Kiara, it's only you who have made this dress look so beautiful," said Calypso clapping both of her hands together.

"Yup you totally look gorgeous today Kiara, Zenith would be totally whipped" smirked Aditi giving me a sly smile, involuntarily my cheeks turned red.

"Shut up, Zenith is a loser plus a liar, god only knows how many secrets he is still hiding from me." I quickly said that.

By the time there was a knock on my door, as Aditi went to open it.

As soon as she opened the door there stands my very old best friend Sid looking all well dressed in the traditional Indian clothing wearing Kurta, not missing the huge turban on his head and the sword which is tied up beside him with his embedded black dagger.

Today my best friend looked as an actual prince of Rathores.

"Sid!" exclaimed Aditi as she immediately went forward to hug the life out of my dear best friend. Sid gave a hearty laugh at her as he hold her up in his arms and twirled her around. They looked totally adorable.

"My my, somebody save my eye's too much hotness to control," said Aditi as she quickly gave a peck on Sid's cheek as he blushed deeply.

"Hey gorgeous, where's my greetings" grinned Sid as he started getting closer and closer to Aditi's face. It was Calypso who cleared her throat to gain the attention of the two love birds.

"A.. yes sorry, I came here to meet Kiwi," finally Sid said the reason of his visit, as he entered the room.

"Yeah sure, we're done here, just leaving. Aditi you're coming along with me" said Calypso as she dragged Aditi with her, leaving me and Sid alone in the room.

I smiled at Sid, as I studied his attire. Indeed he was all ready for my big day; after all he would be by my side when I take the oaths.

"You look handsome Chickoo are you sure you're not getting married today, because certainly you look hotter than the sun," I gave him a sly smile to which he walked towards me amusedly.

"Look who's talking, the girl who is looking no less than a bride today. Come here Kiara let me ravish your whole essence today, before some crazy grey eyed monster steals you away from me" chuckled Sid.

I immediately glared at him "What's up with you guys teasing me with Zenith, there's nothing going between us." I tried to clear the air. I repeat I tried.

"Oh please, the way he looks at you and the things he had done for you are no exceptions. You got yourself an Aham guy and trust me they're damn possessive."

"How do you know so much about Ahams." I asked Sid.

"Remember when I told you that my cousin brother has a wife who is an Aham, what's her name again, yeah Valeria Aham. She is a damn possessive woman."

I chuckled at his comment, by the time there was this peaceful silence in the air, as no one talked anything, it was Sid who spoke first.

"You look nervous, I know you're pretending that everything is alright, but you just can't lie from me Kiwi. I just very well know that look on your face, what's bothering you Kiwi," asked Sid as he stared straight into my eyes, looking at his chocolate brown eye's I couldn't help but tell him the truth.

"It's really just nothing, I don't know something really feels weird, a part of me wants to be a queen and a part of me still thinks otherwise" I finally said him the truth. The truth that I can't even share with Aditi, Calypso and Shirley.

"Are you having any second thoughts? I mean you do understand that this is a big thing and it's not just the Millenrai family who prepared for this day, three other families has equally prepared for this day. But as a friend I want you to make the best decision, if you still want to back off, you still can." said Sid, as I immediately flipped up my head towards him, I thought he was joking, there is no way in hell that I can back away from this. But the look on his face tells me that he was serious.

"Nope, I guess it's just me having pre-coronation Jitters, you know this is exactly sounding like I'm having a wedding." At this Sid laughed out so loud that he literally choked on his own breath.

Talking to Sid really helped, he always has this magic to calm me, I don't know where this feeling comes from but being around Sid gives me peace. I feel like myself around him and I'm really glad to have such a good friend like him.

"By the way you never told me, why you came to visit me" I finally asked him.

"Oh yeah I totally forgot the purpose of my visit, I actually bought this old book for you, apparently I found it in my father's study, cramped up with the other old books. So I was just going through them, but then I found this book named 'Queen Krisantham Millenrai', if I know correctly she was your ancestor and apparently she was crowned as Queen just like you. Though she had a sad end of her story, but I thought maybe you would like to keep this book as it kind of related to your family"

"That's really thoughtful of you Sid, thanks." I smiled at him as he handed me the book.

"You're Welcome Kiwi, I better get going now or else my parents would think where the hell I got lost. Seriously Mom and Dad really needs to trust me, you know what happened today morning, before giving this sword in my hand Dad told me not to kill anybody with it as it's not made of plastic." said Sid grumpily.

"Trust me he was just saving his son from being arrested." I chuckled at Sid's reply to which he said, "Haha very funny" with that Sid left me alone in the room as I waited for the time of my coronation.

"Are you sure we really need to do this" asked Rayansh for the hundredth time as Sid, Zenith, Rayansh and I stand outside the official coronation hall, I can hear the chatters and talks of the people inside the room, apparently according to the tradition the Ruler of Millensh is escorted by the other three future heir's of the other three houses.

"Can you shut your goddamn hole Dionar, trust me I got enough of your baby talks which is going to last me a whole god damn life." said Zenith harshly to Rayansh as he turned towards Zenith giving an ugly scowl.

"Look who's talking back, don't forget Alexus that you're a backstabber and you don't have any right to question me," said Rayansh nonchalantly.

To my surprise Zenith kept a calm look, but the way he gave a one sided smile to Rayansh ran a shiver down my spine. As I very well know whatever Zenith is going to say next won't be much appreciated by me.

"Wow, I can see that you've grown a spine these days Dionar-" said Zenith as he walked right in front of him.

"Don't you dare Aham, don't you ever dare try to insult me" said Rayansh being all riled up.

I watched them fight helplessly as I looked at Sid for some help, but apparently that buffo was busy on his phone. I harshly snatched away that phone from his hands as I glared at me.

"Wait- What! What's your problem Kiwi, give me back my phone" said Sid irritatedly.

"Are you even serious Sid, help me to get those two stop fighting. We got a crowning to attend." I said to him in a duh tone.

"Fine!" he turned over to them. By the time Zenith already started attacking Rayansh with his dirty little game of Mr-I-know-it-all.

"Tell me Rayansh, when's the last time you got yourself laid. Was it back in ninety's, because currently you're fighting as if you're desperate? Tell me haven't your last girlfriend left you all wet or was it your last boyfriend." By the time Zenith ended we both looked at Rayansh in a shocked manner.

Personally I and Sid had some doubts of Rayansh being a gay, but we were never as blunt as Zenith to say this on his face.

"It's enough guys, you both need to back off," finally intervened Sid, as both of them looked away from one another.

I was already holding my fore head in my hands; they're currently being a nuisance.

We were currently standing outside the hall, waiting to enter the hall whenever the time is right. It was amazing the whole Millensh castle was full of lightings for celebrating the crowning, equally the ceremony would be held in whole traditional way where I will be taking my oaths in front of my forefather's, also there is a tight nip security around here as apparently the crowning not only gained the attention of local media, as well as the international media is interested in the crowning of daughter of Adam Trystine.

I remember how Jyaya was concerned about my security, eventually when I flied back here alone with my whole paternal family, he wasn't much pleased to meet uncle James, they share quite a cold greeting, nevertheless they all are here and I'm happy for them to be a part of my life.

"Kiara," it was Jyaya the third who was wearing his red shawl and holding the traditional Millesh Symbol which was stuck in top of a huge stick which was held by him.

"Jyaya." I looked at him wearing a cold look. If one thinks that I have forgiven him for keeping me away from the truth than it is wrong. I won't forgive him till my last breath that's for sure and I guess he too understand it very well as he didn't tried to talk to me even once when I returned back to Millensh, the talks were more formal than anything.

I immediately looked behind him as I saw my old friends walking clueless gawking the corridors, Rahul, Denis, Rocky and Anthony. Theses quadruple's were my favourite one's.

"Guys!" I screamed at them as I literally ran and hugged them all together.

"Kiara it's good to see you" it was Rahul who spoke first.

"You look hot Kiara," winked Rocky and finally it was Denil who snapped a picture of me "Damn I'm so going to share this."

For the first time Anthony who is always silent talked to me in his deep voice "You look pretty".

I smiled at him too, "You look pretty too" to which he turned crimson red.

"How are you guys! I missed you so much; I got so much to share and thanks for coming by the way in such a short notice"

"Oh please afterall how we can miss such a royal invite" grinned Rahul sheepishly.

I was about to talk more with them when I heard Sid calling my name.

"Kiwi it's time" And so that the door's opened as they waited for me to come along.

I finally looked at them giving them a final smile, as I walked back towards Zenith, Sid and Rayansh.

Taking the centre position, I indeed started walking, as the people cheered and the traditional song began triumphing in the air, everybody looked so pleased and enthusiastic, we walked down the aisle, as I moved towards the actual ceremony arena along with Zenith, Rayansh and Sid by my side.
