I waited for the star to shine upon my life,

I waited till the final petal withered in my garden of flowers,

First lectures of each of the subjects I have taken is apparently a social homicide, cause each and every professor wants me to introduce myself to the class, every time I get up to introduce myself I only get some murmurs or blank stares for my lack of information about my parents which I don't mind, luckily Shirley was with me almost the whole lecture and the one after that. From the little much I have got to know about her she seems to be a person with lots of information and brains, pick any topic and Shirley has something or the other to say about it. I always admired people with vast ocean of knowledge and not just educational, she also have some of the historic stories in her pocket too, after all she did told me about our few programming language were discovered centuries ago written in Sanskrit, actually I did knew the information but I played as if I don't know, it was really amazing to see her trying to explain me some of the Sanskrit words, which honestly I have learned from my birth, but that information was not necessary to tell her, after all I got a little secret to hide.

"So I guess it's finally a break! Are you planning to head anywhere Shirley, cause I'm quite hungry right now so if you don't mind can we just head towards the cafeteria" I quickly stuffed in my books inside the bag as I stood up from my desk, Shirley was also doing the same keeping the final pencil inside her pouch.

"Nope I'm not going anywhere, honestly I myself is hungry so let's just go to the cafeteria together", she smiled at me as she stood up, but I did noticed her stealing glances at her brother and his friends, as much as she tries to hide this fact from me she indeed looked worried for her brother Lucifer, but somehow I decided it's not my concern to ask her about her secrets.

"Are you enjoying your time in Elite High so far" She continued walking in front of me, guiding me towards the rush of train of students heading towards the cafeteria.

"Yeah Elite High is quite welcoming!" I mused as Shirley arched her eyebrows up at my strange remark.

"Tell me about it Kiara, first day in Elite High is always the most memorable one"

"The way that you're saying, I bet you got a few exciting memories to share for sure" I flipped back the question towards her, she was looking somewhere far away as if pondering and reliving the memories of her first day here, the smile which is now imprinted on her face tells me it was a pleasant day for her then me.

We were walking down one of the corridors, when out of the corner a beautiful girl with her natural red hair halted us, she was damn pretty was rather a statement she was a total delusion was a remark, the way she dressed herself, her heels, her styled long hair everything of her screamed mesmerizing, I was blatantly staring at her with my open mouth when she noticed that I was indeed staring at her shamelessly, she gave me a dimpled smile knocking out all the breath off me, She is the epitome of Goddess.

But I guess Shirley wasn't impressed at all by her, I guess she knows this girl way better than me, as she immediately tried to pass through her but the red head stopped her.

"Why Mondez.....why in such a hurry" she mused as she stared at my glassy friend "Won't you introduce me to your new friend, I haven't seen her from around...." she continued analyzing me from head to toe as if evaluating my worth, which I honestly I didn't liked at all.

"I'm Jezel Knight, the fellow host of the Elite High Official Gaming Club, my net worth is 100 millions" she gave me her dark grin as soon as she said something about her net worth, I mean I don't actually believe that I heard her right, is this girl out of her mind talking about her worth and shit.....figures like that should be kept under wraps if I'm not wrong....

"So as the school's tradition goes I would like to know your name, your parents name and profession and your net worth" Apparently I just now realised this Red Head was no fairy she is actually a devil herself.

Hearing her words Shirley tensed by my side as she gripped my hand tight, actually the poor girl thinks that I would be so much embarrassed if I say my net worth, not her fault that I told her that I'm an orphan, she probably thinks I'm too sad to say anything. But, still if I want to calculate my net worth what it would be I never actually thought about this matter before then today itself.

Let's see may be Kiara Gyon is poor but what about Kiara Millenrai she surely has a net worth, my family and Royal throne is itself net worth of 450 million and if I calculate my family business 'Millenrai Shipping's it alone can reach one billion, but still I'm not yet the full owner, having fifty percent as a stake holder and some other lands and estates in my name surely can give some whooping figures, so if I take the least round off I worth more than 500 millions.....or maybe A billion if I turn 18 as soon as possible.

"Back off! Jezel you don't need to ask her that" said Shirley, for once I saw Jezel to be backed away with Shirley's outrage, somehow Shirley's taking stand for me perked her curiosity, as she smirked widely turning towards her, I noticed Shirley to get tensed away by my side.

"Oh I see....so someone is really backing the new scholarship girl out here, but you see this is an mandatory question of the host of Elite High Gaming Club, we can't break our tradition for a commoner like her could we" Jezel Knight was one of a hell nasty creature and the fact she called me commoner so disgustedly made me bowl my fist in anger. It's not at all bad to be a commoner and I'm glad that I'm getting a chance to be one of them.

"It's alright Shirley, I'm okay with it, Hello Jezel! My name is Kiara Gyon, about my parents.......there nothing to say much, I'm an orphan. And to think about my net worth.....honestly I got some thousand bills in my pocket nothing much, that's all net worth I have" I said her confidently; both Shirley and Jezel were quite impressed by my confidence.

"Let's go Kiara, there's nothing to wait here for" and so Shirley grabbed my hand took me towards the cafeteria.

Elite High's Cafeteria was no less than a five star hotel, even a cup of coffee can make you fall in a huge debt, so yeah you can say that all the hunger was drained out of my system, but for the sake of surviving the whole day, I did buy the cheapest sandwich, Shirley didn't questioned my strange order, she was kind enough to even offer her full course meal that she bought, so yeah it was really tempting. And how can you say no to free food.

As a matter of fact I noted that Shirley had no problem buying such costly meals, she definitely should have come from some well off family to buy that stuff.

I was about to sit on one of the empty table at the centre of the cafeteria, but before I could plump myself on the chair Shirley grabbed my hand dragged me towards the other side of Cafeteria were surprisingly no one sat. Now that I notice the whole cafeteria most of the people sat in groups I was glad for having Shirley by my side. But it was really strange of me sitting on such a huge table alone with her, even some people stole weird glances at us.

Cafeteria was more or less packed now, but there were three tables from each of the corners which were empty, before sitting on our table was one of them, I was about to question Shirley about this strange happening, when a loud sneeze caught our attention.....there stands Aditi Ray with a handkerchief stuffed in her nose which was all red, trolling down towards us with her huge canvass bag stacked on her shoulder, ignorantly she sloped in front of me besides Shirley, snatching away some more tissues from the table Aditi sneezed up loudly once again.

"Jeez Aditi! You look like you just walk off some hell shitty war, are you alright" I exclaimed amusingly as I offered her some more tissues.

"I know! I look like hell right now but I couldn't miss my chance to attend my first day of senior year" She said groggily as she rested her head on the table.

"Here take these pills Adi, this will give you some relief" offered Shirley a packet of pills, which Aditi took happily with a glass of water....

"Thanks Shirley! Is this the one of your magic pills" Aditi smiled widely at her as I stared confusedly at their exchange.

"Yes it is the one, but how many times should I tell you it's just a medicine that's solve"

Soon after taking the pills, Aditi's cold subsidized and she was back to normal, I bet that was one of the hell good medicines Shirley gave her.

"If you're confused about what actually Shirley gave to me Kiara, don't worry you just have to ask for it and I'm glad you found my friend out her, honestly I was worried about you getting lost in this one big High school, trust me it's quite scary feeling getting lost out here all alone by yourself"

"Well yeah! I'm glad too, finding Shirley to keep me some company, but you didn't actually tell me much about you're being friends with Shirley" I questioned back as I was really curious to know there connection.

"Shirley and I are childhood friends, we literally grew up together. I don't know if she told you or not but Shirley's father owns a big pharmaceutical company and my parents being doctors and her father's college friends did all the work for us knowing one another" she smiled at Shirley as they both exchanged their childhood memories smiling warmly at one another, immediately looking at both of them made me long for Sid. I really miss him at this moment after all he was my only true childhood friend.

"Wow that's awesome! by the way I got some questions to ask you guys, can you see those three tables out there why anybody isn't sitting out there" as soon as I asked that immediately both Shirley and Aditi looked up at me worriedly, there was some kind of unspoken exchange between them as if they were deciding whether to tell me the truth or not.

It was Aditi who actually cleared her throat in front of me to speak first.

"I don't know how much you know about Elite High and the relation that everyone shares here, but trust me if you think that this is one big happy family then you are wrong" As soon as she said that there was a sudden silence in the cafeteria, I saw the student council's president Christopher Trystine aka Chris enter the cafeteria along with a two other people besides him, further concentrating I found non-other than Eigen Carter our very famous the bunny boy walking beside him. Damn! he never told me he goes to the same school as me, as if on cue he caught my eyes and immediately he acknowledge me with his smile to which Aditi looked the least happy person in the group, both the girl's in front of me were glaring at them.

The third person, who was walking beside Chris, was actually a beautiful girl with dark luscious brown hair and amazing blue eyes, she actually worn a cute little floral dress which really complimented her pale skin just like Chris for once looking at her I thought she somehow is related to him.

"Who is she?" I couldn't help but question about her, but Shirley and Aditi was the least bit interested in talking about them.

"I guess I will answer your question for Aditi" continued Shirley as she held Aditi's hand as if assuring her everything is going to be alright.

"She is Calypso Trystine, daughter of the famous business tycoon James Trystine's third child, she indeed is pretty and really a kind person, but let's just say we aren't allowed to be around her all thanks to Mr President" that really perked my curiosity.

"Are you talking about Chris, that's really strange....but seriously are they both by any chance related to one another or something" I questioned.

"Yes apparently Chris and Calypso both are twins, as you can see they aren't identical, and as a matter of fact the green eyed boy with them is Eigen Carter best friends with Chris, so yeah! you can say they are in one of their little group, before you ask more questions that why we don't like them, then trust me Kiara the only reason we are talking about them to you is because you asked us about Calypso nothing can make us start talk about those foolish boys"

"So they have their own separate group and table in cafeteria just like us" it was really amusing to learn new things about this school, the more I'm learning about Elite High the more surprises are in my hand.

"Yes you can say that", said Shirley as she looked around, but soon she froze as she stopped slurping down the strawberry milkshake she was drinking minutes ago, both me and Aditi looked at the direction she was looking at and there I saw the famous threesome of Elite High, Zach Diggory, Lucifer Mondez and the Asian kid named Jovie Ottonoha whose name Shirley told me in the class, were walking inside the cafeteria's entrance.

I pointed my head towards them as the as I questioned Aditi " Care to tell me who are they"

"Shit! What the hell they are doing here! it's been officially the Team C hour right now, haven't they checked the new time schedule, damn even the Team B is out here that's just great!" as I was currently clueless with what Aditi was really talking about....

"I suppose there was some miscommunication from the Team B side; I guess it would be minutes before they send their representative to talk to us" Said Shirley as she looked darkly at her brother.

"I know Kiara that this is all going bouncer to you, but the one thing you should note is there are teams out here just like a group, currently you are sitting with Team C that is us, Team B includes Chris, Calypso and Eigen and Team A includes those boy's Zach, Lucifer and Jovie" I couldn't believe what Aditi just said to me, they were having groups!

"I don't know that you know or not, but you are currently witnessing a major rivalry in Elite High, it's such a sheer luck that Team Z didn't managed to come" smirked Shirley wickedly as she scrunched his milkshake glass harshly and tossed it aside, for a second I thought that may be Shirley has some major split personality disorder.

As if on cue Zenith entered the cafeteria, walking so confidently, smiling wickedly at every table he passes by, there was a nasty grin imprinted on his face, which shout out loud of being mischievous. He sat on one of the cafeteria table's all alone, just like us. Now when I notice there are four huge tables on each of them occupied, by these weird teams of them?

Suddenly Aditi started laughing darkly, confused was the word I couldn't say anymore, it was really twisted anomaly of games these guys are playing

"What a cruel way destiny is playing there games out here! Tempting enough never thought Zenith would manage to come out here, just if you're wondering Kiara, Zenith is actual Team Z and don't be surprised there is a reason why he is all alone in his Team" grinned Aditi darkly at him.

"But I don't understand, why there is a separate Team out here, what's the reason why you hate everyone!"

Immediately Aditi and Shirley looked at me, they seemed kind of lost in their own world, thinking whether to tell me the truth or not, finally Aditi decided to talk.

"Fine! I'm not going to tell you the reason of rivalry yet, it's up to you if you decide to join our team or not, here in Elite High we do have nerds, we do have jocks but we also have Teams which stands ' The Enmity Among the Master Squads' formed last year, what's special about Teams is there is a whole new mixture of people in it, don't do the mistake of comparing us with nerds, trust me attention is the last thing any team member wants out here, but you see some situation can't be helped" I was really interested to know more about this Teams, this term was really new to me, no wonder they are so popular.

But more or less they are famous and popular and that's the least kind of people I'm searching to be around right now.

" Team A consist of Zach Diggory , Lucifer Mondez, Jovie Ottonoha, Team B consist of Christopher Trystine, Calypso Trystine, Eigen Carter and finally Team C consist of Shirley Mondez and myself Aditi Ray, as the matter of fact Team Z do exist and the only person in it is Zenith, the reason why this is formed because we can't stand each other's guts, you don't have a sane idea how much we want to kill each other out here Kiara, it's a feeling of hatred in this world out here."

I was totally bemused by all of them, I can clearly see all of them, hatred was not the word which defines them, there should be something more rather than rivalry between them, I won't expect Aditi to tell me everything in just one day.

"But why me? Why is that you guys want me, why not everybody else, I'm sure there will be many to support you", to which Shirley shook her head.

"You are special Kiara, I don't know that you have noticed or not, but somehow or the other you have gained the attention of all the four heads of the Teams, be it Zach Diggory, Christopher Trystine ,or Zenith and rather Aditi Ray herself, you managed to develop a liking for all of the heads of the Team." said Shirley

I didn't know that they noticed me so much; I bet they had few spies of them around me.

"It's about time, at your three o clock I can see the representatives of Team A and B on their way out here, I bet they are coming for you, be prepared, it would be your time to choose" I couldn't believe what Shirley was talking about but as I turned my head indeed Jovie Ottonoha the Asian boy and Eigen Carter were indeed on their way to my table.

I can't understand a single thing about this strange situation of mine, but only a question was ringing inside my head......

Whom to choose?
