I was down in the lab waiting for Davenport and the three to get back, and I heard Adam cheering signaling they were back

"Yeah!" Adam cheered

"Great work. Flawless execution. Now that is how you lead a mission," Davenport spoke

"Why, thank you," Chase cheered

"I was talking about me," Davenport laughed

"Hey babe, welcome back," I smiled

"Good to be back," Chase smiled as he wrapped his arm around me and kissed my cheek

"Can you guys do that somewhere else? I think I'm gonna be sick," Bree remarked

"Love you too, Bree," I spoke rolling my eyes

"Back to what I was saying," Davenport interjected, "every Olympic pond in needs a bronze and a silver."

"Whoo-hoo! I medaled!" Adam cheered, then he accidentally punched Davenport across the room into the lab doors

"Don't look at us. You're the one that have super strength to a box of rocks," Bree told him

"Hey, guys," Leo spoke as he stepped over Davenport and walked into the lab, "How'd the mission go?"

"Great. We fixed the pentagons communication satellite and returned it to orbit," Bree bragged

"I even rigged it so we get every TV channel in the world! Who wants to watch Guatemalan drag racing?!" Chase asked

"I like you, but not that much," I told him, he gave me a playful glare

"Did my suggestions come in handy on the mission?" Leo asked with hopefulness

"What suggestions?" Chase asked

"I did a ton of strategic research and gave it to Big D," Leo spoke

"Oh, right. I'm sorry, Leo, I didn't have time to use it," Davenport spoke

"Yes, you did. You spilled your coffee and used Leo's research to mop it up," Adam spoke

"You used my suggestions as a sponge?" Leo hissed

"More like a paper towel. But it was very absorbent," Davenport spoke, "Why don't you guys go and clear out the rest of your gear."

I followed after Chase since I really didn't want to see what happened between Leo and Davenport

I love Leo, but I'm no gonna stay around for that

Next day at school we were all laughing about something as we walked down the stairs

"Not so fast!" Perry yelled through a speaker at us, we groaned but stopped at the end of the stairs

"You three missed school yesterday, not that I didn't enjoy it. But it's been happening way to much lately, look at this attendance report," Perry spoke as she showed us the report

"You still keep paper records? You know, we have computers now, also indoor plumbing and fire," Chase remarked

"Do you really wanna poke the bear?" Perry asked

"Do you really wanna use that analogy?" Leo questioned

"Shut it, Dooley! I've been working out. Don't make me flex my guns," Perry warned, "You three are in big trouble."

"Oh, actually we're not cause we have a note from our dad. He signed it and everything," Bree spoke as she handed Perry a note

"With his name," Adam added

"Oh, well, I'm sorry. My bad. That changes absolutely nothing!" Perry spoke as she ripped up the note, "Just because you dad let's you cut school doesn't mean I have to. Somebody had to be the disciplinarian. It's like I tell my cats-" Perry then hissed like a cat

"See you three in detention!" Perry exclaimed before leaving

"Great. We miss school for a mission and get punished. This isn't fair," Chase complained

"No, it really isn't. Well, you guys have fun," Leo spoke at he walked off

"Yeah I'm with him, sorry," I spoke as I followed after Leo

Later on in the day I was hanging out with Leo on the couch, when suddenly Davenport and something else came up stairs

I screamed and climbed onto the top of the couch

"What? What's wrong?" Leo asked worriedly

"Eddy's not in the wall!" I yelled and pointed at the robot behind Davenport

"Surprise!" Eddy sang, making me groan, then Eddy bumped into Davenport and he hit him with a rolled up newspaper

"Will you stop that!" Davenport shouted

"What do you think, I'm trying to crash into your butt?" Eddy remarks

"Leo, Scarlett, where is everybody? I sent out a mission alert and no one is responding," Davenport spoke

"Oh, they're stuck in detention. They're probably getting flipped and ripped as we speak. The flip is not so bad, it's the ripping that haunts ya," Leo spoke

"There is an underground gas leak and the hazmat team cannot contain it. I need Adam, Bree, and Chase to shut it down," Davenport spoke

"Let me help," Leo spoke, then Davenport laughed

"That's very funny, but this is serious. Scarlett you're coming with me, head into Bree's capsule and put on her mission suit. Let's roll," Davenport ordered

"On it Big D," I nodded and headed down to the lab

I stepped into Bree's capsule and put on her mission suit, it felt like mine but it was missing the mask, my hair was in a pony tail and I was ready to go

"Let's go, if that substation explodes, it'll send a highly toxic gas cloud into the atmosphere. Perry's not budging and letting Adam, Bree, and Chase out. So get what you need and let's go," Davenport spoke

"Okay, one question. Are you really being him?" I ask and pointed at Eddy

"Yeah, I have to. If you can't control your powers, Eddy will be there to help," Davenport spoke

"Oh I can control my powers, I don't need some machine to do my job for me," I spoke

"What job? Last I've seen all you've done is write bad songs and make something you call 'art'," Eddy sneered, I went to charge at him but Davenport pushed me back

"Let's go, now," Davenport spoke

"If he says one more thing, I'm gonna reprogram him myself," I sneered as I began to walk away

"You can try, but like you doing art you'll stink at it!" Eddy called, I raced back into the room but Davenport tried to hold me back

"I'll destroy you!" I yelled as Davenport struggled to keep me back

"Emergency!" Davenport spoke

"Were not even at the mission site," Eddy pointed out

"I was talking about Scarlett's temper, with her super strength you won't stand a chance," Davenport laughed

"I'll kill him!" I yelled and Davenport tried to push me back

After a while I gave up and just went to the mission site, and Davenport wore a hazmat suit while I wore his only highly advanced gas mask that would protect me if the gas became to much

"Why don't I get a hazmat suit?" Eddy whined

"Because you don't need one!" I yelled as I contained the gas with my electric barrier that was up near the ceiling, then something hit Davenport that made him run

"Big D are you alright?" I asked

"Just fine, keep that barrier there," Davenport told me

"But I-" began

"I don't need your powers glitching out, keep the barrier strong," Davenport ordered

"But I could do more! I've been getting really good at them!" I told

"After what you told me happened a few days ago I can't risk anything right now, I'm sorry but just keep that barrier there, it's the only thing between the gas and us," Davenport spoke

"Fine," I groaned

"How do you know if I don't need a mission suit? What if this has corrodes all my special parts?" Eddy questioned

"You only have one special part: your off switch!" Davenport interjected

"And if you don't be quiet soon I'm gonna shut you down!" I warned, another thin of air came down on Davenport

"Davenport let me help you! I can do more than hold the gas!" I told him

"I said no and my word is finale," Davenport told me, making me roll my eyes as I increased my barrier and turned it into a bubble containing the gas

"Eddy, give me a reading with your gas sensor!" Davenport ordered

"Coming right up!" Eddy spoke, then disco music began to play, confusing me and Davenport, "What? I added a disco party ball. Composed the music myself. Is it to produced? Tell me the truth."

"Just take the reading!" Davenport ordered

"Somebody's coming!" Eddy exclaimed as we heard footsteps

"Finally Adam, Bree, and Chase are here!" Davenport sighed

"Then Bree's gonna be mad I wore her suit," I mumbled, next thing you know Leo is at the end of the tunnel

"Leo!" Me and Davenport yelled

"They're stuck in detention and Principal Perry won't let them out, but I brought you something even better! Me!" Leo explained as he did a heroic pose

"Were screwed!" I groaned and threw my head back

"Whoo-hoo! Leo's here! Said no one ever," Eddy spoke

"Leo, it is too dangerous in here! The gas levels are rising! You have to get out!" Davenport told him

"Uh, guys," I began

"No way! I am not leaving you guys behind!" Leo argued

"Guys," I interjected

"Go!" Davenport ordered

"No!" Leo argued

"Guys! Help!" I yelled, catching their attention, they noticed the gas bubbling up more inside the force field

"It's building up to much pressure, to much more and this whole place could blow," Leo spoke

"If I release it it could mean more danger. You have to figure something quick!" I ordered

Suddenly and explosion occurred and Leo and Davenport duck out of the way, I stumbled a bit from the shake but continued to keep the field up

"Great, now the access tunnels jammed! The spark must have caused the secondary line to blow. If the primary line goes, were toast!" Davenport explained in a panic

"Well, that's just great! There goes my 5k run!" Eddy complained

"Shut! It!" Davenport yelled at Eddy then almost touched his hand to the pipe before I shot a bolt of electricity at him with one hand, making him jump out of the way

"You almost hit me!" Davenport shrieked

"For good reason! You almost touched that extremely hot pipe that could have seriously hurt you, trust me I did you a favor," I told him

"That's good! Turn on each other!" Eddy cheered

"Eddy!" We yelled

The gas continued to bubble up inside the bubble and it was beginning to become to much, pipes started to open up more and spray down hot air on Davenport as he tried to figure a way to fix this

"The gas levels are still building! Our oxygen supply is almost gone! Time is running out!" Davenport panicked

"I'm scared! Hold me, Donnie!" Eddy whined as rammed into Davenport

"Stop that!" Davenport warned

"Also the gas is building inside this bubble! The more it builds up the more dangerous it is for my to let the gas loose!" I warned

"This stuff is useless! See, this is why I need their bionics. If Bree was here, she could use her super speed to crest a vacuum to contain the gas until I figured out a way to slow down the leak," Davenport spoke

"Why didn't you say something earlier! I could have done that!" I yelled

"You can? Okay, you've got to make me a list of all your powers," Davenport spoke

"Sure thing, want me to write it down now while I'm holding dangerous gas inside a bubble!" I yelled

"Stop fighting! What is we speed it up?" Leo spoke

"You do realize that's the opposite of slowing it down, right?" Davenport mentioned

"I mean the fan. When Adam has B.O, we use the exhaust fan in his capsule to empty his nastiness into Bree's. It's disgusting for her and hilarious for us," Leo began

"If I ever hear about that complaint from Bree again I will personally kill you guys," I warned

"Anyway, Leo is saying if we can start the turbine-" Davenport began

"-then we can suck all the gas or of here and seal it in the containment tunnel!" Leo finished

"Leo, that is brilliant!" Davenport sighed with relief

"Yeah, well, just don't go using it to wipe up your spilt coffee," Leo sassed, then another thing of hot air came down

"Hurry! With every passing second the gas filled bubble becomes a ticking time bomb!" I yelled

"The only thing is, if that turbine sparks, it could blow the whole place up," Davenport spoke

"But if we don't do anything the gas bubble will pop and blow us up," Leo spoke

"Tiny logic strikes again! Okay, fingers crossed," Davenport spoke

"Scar, when I tell you to let go, let go," Leo spoke

"Got it," I nodded, then suddenly and explosion happened and frightened us

"Just kidding!" Eddy chuckled

"I'm gonna kill you when we get home!" I shouted

I heard the whirring of the fan, then a leak sprung from the force field bubble

"Now!" Leo yelled and I released all the gas and rushes over to their side, watching as the fan started to vacuum up the gas

"It's working!" Leo cheered, "See, Big D? I told you I could help."

"Uh guys, should it be going that fast?" Eddy questioned, suddenly he speed of the fan picked up

"I got this!" I spoke and created a force field around us to protect us from the wind

"I don't know how long this will hold from the last one, so you better hurry!" I spoke

"Came you stop it?! Can you stop it?! Can you stop it?!" Leo repeated over and over

"I'm trying to concentrate!" Davenport yelled

"Are you concentrating on trying to stop it?" Leo yelled

"This was not suppose to happen!" Leo yelled as we all held onto a large pipe

"Oh, I'm sorry my force field didn't last long enough because someone made me surround the dangerous gas that weakened it!" I yelled

"Let's not put any blame on anyone!" Davenport yelled

"What if we jam the blade? Would that stop he turbine?" Leo yelled

"Maybe, but there's nothing big enough down here," Davenport shouted

"I can think of one thing," I shouted looking at Eddy as I was holding on top him with my super strength

"Wait, you don't mean. . . Oh, no, no, no, no, no. Uh, put it to a vote?" Eddy protested

"I vote Eddy!" I yelled

"Me too!" Davenport agreed

"Same!" Leo yelled, I then let go of Eddy, he then landed in between the blades

"Push that button and seal the containment tunnel," Davenport ordered, Leo hurried over and hit the button, then the tunnel closed

"It worked!" I cheered

"Yes!" Leo cheered

"Way to go, Leo!" Davenport cheered as we all had a group hug, then Eddy started to groan

"Is that you Donnie?" Eddy asked in a dramatic voice

"I'm here, Eddy," Davenport replied

"The light is so dim. It's so cold. You look, smaller," Eddy spoke, making me roll my eyes m

"Just die already!" I groaned, making Davenport look at me weirdly

"I need you to do something for me. Tell Tasha, it should have been her," Eddy spoke before he died

"Can we go home now?" I asked annoyed

We were back in the lab and I had returned Bree's suit to her capsule and was back in my original outfit

"That should do it," Davenport spoke as he turned Eddy on

"Its about time. Hey, where's the rest of me?!"Eddy gasped as he noticed his robot body gone

"I'm sorry, Eddy. We couldn't save you body," Davenport spoke

"Personally I voted to get rid of you completely, but I don't own the house, so. . ." I spoke

"Yeah, and to be honest we didn't even try," Leo chuckled

"Yeah," Davenport chuckled

"We're here, Mr. Davenport! What's the urgent mission?!" Chase asks as he and his siblings ran in

"You missed it. Luckily, Leo here save our butts," Davenport spoke, motioning to Leo and me

"No, seriously what's the mission?" Bree asked

"I'm not kidding. Leo really stepped it up today. He showed me that he has what it takes to be part of this team. So I am making him our strategic mission specialist," Davenport spoke

"Congrats!" Chase exclaimed

"Way to go," Bree congratulated

"Mazel tov!" Adam cheered

"Awesome! Wait, does that mean more paperwork?" Leo asked

"Yeah," Davenport laughed, "but you will also be helping me design the overall mission strategies, and while these guys are in the field, you will be assisting me from your own, mission specialist workstation!" Davenport gestured to a place where Leo would work from

"Really? This is mine now?" Leo asked

"According to this fancy digital nameplate, it is," Davenport answered as he held up the nameplate

"What about me, Big D? Am I apart of the team now?" I asked with hopefulness

"I'm sorry, Scarlett, but no," Davenport spoke, my smile gone

"What? Why?" I asked

"I can't let you on the team, I'm sorry," Davenport spoke

"Mr. Davenport that's not fair, she proved herself on this mission, why can't she bee on the team?" Bree asked

"Yeah, a forth person would be helpful on missions," Chase spoke

"I'm sorry, but I've made my decision," Davenport spoke

"But-" Leo began

"No I get it," I interjected

"You do?" Bree asked

"Yeah, I'm just not useful enough to go on them, right?" I asked as I looked at Davenport

"That's not what I-" Davenport began

"But it is, you may not be saying it but that's what you think. I get it, I'm not good enough," I sighed as I brushed past everyone and went to my room, ignoring the protests of everyone else

As I went to my room I sat on the couch, watching from my big TV, holding a pillow to my chest and I had my feet on the back hanging off the back of the couch

Then a knock was at my door, "Scarlett? Can we talk?" Davenports voice spoke from the other end

"Sure," I mumbled and sat up straight as he came in, putting the pillow back on the side

"Look, I know you think that the reason your not on the team but it's not," Davenport began, and sat by me

"Then what is? I don't understand why I can't be apart of the team," I spoke

"Remember how you told me you were injected with what you called your superpower weakness?" Davenport asked, I nodded, "I did some research over it and if your powers were to glitch out with your weakness inside you it could seriously harm you. That's why I want to wait and see what your parents say after you finish those tests. It's just for your safety."

"Woah, I didn't know that. I guess that's a really good reason to not let me on the team just yet, thanks Big D. For looking out for me," I spoke

"It's my job, just know that once your parents say it's okay to go on missions again I'll let you. I promise, hug it out?" He asked with his arms open, I chuckled

"Hug it out," I replied and gave him a hug

Soon I'll pass those tests, and I'll be able to go on missions with the team
