Maul was worried about his apprentice. He figured after the Empire destroyed Ezra's home and took his parents, Ezra joined the Ghost crew. Apparently Ezra lived on the streets of Lothal for years, that made Maul snarl. How dare the Empire hurt my apprentice, how dare they leave him on the streets to die, how dare no one cared for him, Maul thought with a growl. Ezra was snuggled in the bunk, fast asleep holding the stuffed Loth-cat Maul got for him. Maul had no idea he why he bought the stuffed Loth-cat for Ezra, he had nothing to blame it on. Maul was careful not to wake his apprentice, when he left Ezra's cabin. When Ezra awoke, Maul would allow the boy to contact his "Space Family". The Ghost crew probably knew nothing of Ezra's pain, his hurt and his anger. I need to have a "heart to heart chat" with Kanan Jarrus, Maul thought with snarl.
