Maul was watching his apprentice sleep. No, it was not creepy. He was merely making sure his apprentice was safe. Apparently Ezra snored and talked in his sleep, something about Agent Kallus and Loth-cats, which definitely confused Maul. While Ezra was asleep, Maul was looking through his things. Ezra had a green lightsaber, different than the one on Malachor, Maul wondered why he got a new one. There was also an Imperial cadet helmet, it was painted. Last but probably not least, was a picture. Maul was looking through these items in his cabin, he opened up the picture and saw Ezra with two unfamiliar adults. Ezra's parents, Maul realized. His mother was giving a piggyback ride to Ezra, while his father smiled in the background. Maul couldn't help but feel saddened when he saw the picture, No wonder Ezra wants revenge on the Empire. Why would the Empire destroy this family? Maul thought. When he realized that was all Ezra brought, he put it back where he found it. Maul definitely wanted to look more into the Bridgers, to see why the Empire took Ezra's mother and father.
