Maul felt a strong flood of emotions on Ezra's side of the bond. He immediately appeared next to the boy, who was crying. Ezra was holding his legs while rocking back and forth on the floor. Maul sat next to him, bringing the boy into an embrace. Ezra looked up, his eyes red from crying, tears rolling down his face. Maul knew his apprentice right now needed to be held and reassured, not bombarded with questions. After awhile Ezra finally stopped crying, Maul was still holding him. Ezra looked up once again at Maul,"I'm sorry you had to see that. R-Rex yelled at me, he b-blames me for A-Ahsoka's death." Maul immediately growled, who dares hurt my apprentice, whoever did this will surely suffer. Ezra noticed Maul's furious growl, "N-no Maul it's fine, I a-am to blame for w-what happened to Ahsoka." Maul looked at Ezra,"It is not fine my apprentice. This clone, dares yells at my apprentice?!" Ezra shrunk back against the floor of the closet he and Maul were in. "M-Maul it's f-fine, it could h-have been w-worse. Kids on the s-street are always getting y-yelled at and b-beat. L-look I got the scars to p-prove it." Ezra said holding his arm out with his sleeve pushed up, laid  two jagged scars. Maul looked in shock at the boy's arm, his apprentice had seriously been abused not as bad as Maul of course, but still bad by human standards. "Ezra, who in the Galaxy did this to you?!" Maul snarled. Ezra sniffled, rubbing his arm he said, "A Imperial officer. He w-wanted to make a p-point to the people of L-Lothal." Maul swore, he grabbed what he could find that could bandage the scar up, to stop the bleeding, to which Maul looked up at Ezra for him to say why. Ezra looked at his feet," I d-deserve being hurt. I killed Ahsoka! She would still be alive and Kanan would still be able to see if they never discovered m-me on Lothal." Maul shook his head, imagining all the wonderful ways to make those who gave his apprentice pain would suffer greatly. Maul looked at Ezra. "Ezra, right know you need to rest. If you want find me... I can tell you where to look, I trust you enough to come alone. But now you really must sleep." Ezra closed his eyes, Maul got up looking at the bandaging material lying next to Ezra's side. Maul sighed, he left returning to his ship. He fell asleep thinking of all the ways to make those who ever hurt Ezra, suffer greatly.

I really did break Ezra this time. Maybe I should add mature content to be safe? I don't know. Until next time!
