Ezra 13
Ezra was happy he and Maul were getting along. The Zabrak was compassionate when Ezra told him stories of living on the streets, Maul was also interested in stories of Ezra's adventures in the Rebellion. Maul had not acted well when Ezra talked about Hondo Ohnaka. "That Weequay still lives?! I thought he would be long dead by now!" Maul said. Ezra looked at Maul, "Wait, you know Hondo? When did you guys meet?" The human said. Maul sighed, "Back in the Clone War I met him, remember me telling you I ruled most of the Criminal Underworld? His Weequay crew was some of my first recruits, then they betrayed my brother and I." Ezra smiled and nodded,"Sounds like Hondo alright, he's betrayed me a couple of times as well." Maul looked at Ezra incredulously. "Let me get this straight. Hondo has betrayed you many times and you trust him, while I betrayed your friends once, not you, and you distrusted me?" Maul asked. Ezra realized how that sounded, when he said he trusted Hondo. "Oh, I didn't mean it like that Maul, Hondo has a irresistible personality, you do in your own right Maul, but the reason I trusted Hondo is because he reminds of what I would be like if I were still on the streets." Maul nodded, the Zabrak seemed to get what Ezra was saying. "Any other interesting people you have met my apprentice?" Maul asked. Ezra grinned,"Well, there was Bossk, a Trandoshan bounty hunter. Then there was Lando Calrissian, a smuggler, Hera punched him in the gut. Then there was Princess Leia Organa, she was pretty cool, she's also a rebel." Ezra said. Maul nodded,"I've met my fair share of known beings. Jabba the Hutt, Pre Vizsla, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, actually taught your former master's master, and many more." Maul said. Ezra was bewildered, "Wow, you've met quite of few beings haven't you?" Maul smiled, "When you've lived as long as I have, you know a few people who could help you out of a tight spot." Ezra was amazed, Maul definitely had an interesting history, I wonder how many Jedi he's met?. Ezra thought. The Zabrak had decided that that was enough conversation for today, and promptly left. Ezra went back to his bunk, pondering about more of Maul's past.
